  1. BREAKING TWISTED TIMBERS HAS BEGUN TESTING! [fbvideonew] [/fbvideonew]
  2. It seems that the first cycle has been taken? Kings Dominion Fanatics on Facebook
  3. Never saw that video but it was on my recommend video list for a while. I remember only riding the ride once and i hated it, but then again i was like 7 and didnt like the fact that i couldnt see anything and i wasnt to fond of amusement park rides. Now that i look back at it, I wish i could have rode it more times. I rode the Crypt at KD last year and I loved it! One thing to point out that;s not pointed out in the video (but kind of common sense), When CF took over and took the third row off of the ride, the ride experienced a lot of downtime, mainly because the ride was NEVER SUPPOSED TO OPERATE WITH TWO GONDOLAS.........................im not trying to bash on CF......but they ruined an amazing ride..... Hopefully Mike or someone in Cedar Fair will use that building for something here soon for than for Madame Fatale's.
  4. Track has been completed on Twisted Timbers! [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]Kings Dominion on Twitter:
  5. As pointed above I did swing by the B&M plant yesterday! The non painted track could be CW, but could also be for the china parks as well as Toverland and Liseburg. [youtu_be]https://youtu.be/etA_74v_Nbs[/youtu_be]
  6. I love the changes coming to Candy Apple Grove! Cannot wait to see what it all looks like on preview night!
  7. For those curious, here is what ricochet looks like atm. **NOTE. THIS IS MY PHOTO AND WAS EDITED (AS YOU CAN TELL BY MY CRAPPY EDITING SKILLS).**
  8. I will be hitting these parks so far in early 2018. If you would be interested in meeting up shoot me a PM!
  9. Would love to make it but will be at CP, but looking for someone to film the new rides and locations for me
  10. I sure hope that they don't remove it. I don't know much about the ride and its reliability but its clone, the Bat is still in operation and is doing well (minus the lift motor that blew in August). Hopefully if it is removed, Cedar Fair Does not start removing Arrow coasters......anyone else know more?
  11. Whew it's been awhile since Ive been on here lol. Just wanted to give an update on somethings being done at the park. The work in Coney Mall looks to be for a resturaunt (duh). As seen from December 30th. The last day for winterfest! Link to the post with this picture In other words, a certain little hyper is getting these WONDERFUL new seats...(insert mold and everything else now). Lastly, Dino's was removed quickly as the company that the dino's where RENTED from came and shipped them all back to China. Whatever (well hush hush about that now) is going on back there, the park does not seem to be taking it's time.
  12. It is not a JL clone. Jeffrey Siebert has already said that it will be something themed and related to the boardwalk. It has been projected to open either memorial day weekend or around that time! (all found on Facebook)
  13. Honestly, the only rides that where closed all day was the kiddie coaster and the magic carpet ride (I think that's what it was) near the front of the park. Every coaster was running the whole time i was there, without the fact that Lost coaster was down for a bit for i dont know what but i still managaed to get the credit, as it closed about a good hour after i rode it, but reopened later.
  14. In all honesty, I don't plan on going back to the park until they get a new coaster or something that seems amusing for me to go back. I mean don't get me wrong the park has some fun and unique rides but some of the park needs a little more sprucing up.
  15. How was your visit? Check out my Trip Report Here!
  16. Back in September, I decided to visit another park for a first and to rack up some new credits.......This park wound up being..... Indiana Beach! Overall I wans't very "amused" at the park (mainly because I thought everything was somewhat to close together.) but I was pleased with what the park offered ride wise! Unfortunately I did not do the up-charge Haunted House (if i end up going back in the future I will be sure to). My thoughts on the coasters: -Hoosier Hurricane: A fun woodie with some good airtime moments but a little rough at the base of a couple drops. Could use a slight retrack and possibly some new trains. 7/10. -Cornball Express: If i have ever experienced some violent airtime on a coaster, this has it. Not only is it fun but is pretty intense with lateral G's and some good airtime hills! 8.5/10 -Tigg'r: My first ever Schwarzkoph coaster and honestly though it was pretty smooth and intense! 8/10 -Lost Mountain: This was fun for it being a wooden coaster/wild mouse although I was facing backwards on only ride, i though it was a bit to jerky. 7/10 -Steel Hawg: This ride is smooth and fun for it's compact layout and the inline twist really give's some insane hangtime! The one downside for this coaster I feel is the restraints. 9/10 Enjoy the pictures/videos from the park!
  17. Just a quick little update track/support wise for Valkyria, not a lot but a decent amount is at Clermont Steel in Batavia, Ohio! [twitter] [/twitter]If twitter status does not show above, click here to see the status. [youtu_be]https://youtu.be/UDoyCm25PqI[/youtu_be] Link to video
  18. While it doesn't say exactly what is coming to the construction area at KI, a new restaurant, new dining improvements or catering could be coming not only to the park, but to Carowinds, Michigan's Adventure, CGA and Dorney Park. Give it a read below: http://www.toledoblade.com/Retail/2017/10/31/Cedar-Fair-reveals-remaining-plans-for-18.html
  19. Looks like Universal just purchased 101 new acres of land for expansion! http://www.orlandosentinel.com/business/brinkmann-on-business/os-bz-universal-orlando-property-20171030-story.html
  20. Been almost a whole month since this thread has been active. WOWZA lol. Anyways I saw some comments about Wonder Woman Construction in a Live stream. I Question if this is true or not since the park was not the one doing the live stream. Here is the link to the live stream: And here are the comments i found interesting from the live stream: In the meantime here are some new eye candy for you from the RMC plant, track almost to begin getting painted and foundations being poured at the park!!! © Jeffrey Seibert © Jeffrey Seibert © Jeffrey Seibert © Jeffrey Seibert © Jeffrey Seibert © Jeffrey Seibert
  21. Well what a coincidence, Ed Hart did wonder why some people do not like Thunder Run at the last rides event lunch and some people did say it was a little rough. Guess the park is trying to make it the #1 wooden coaster that it was when it opened.
  22. Michigan's Adventure, what a fun park, but i can easily say I now know what Cedar Fair could do to bring a small park up to a major attraction. First off to start I liked the park, but there where some things that showed me that I don't think they did right, For example, the rides, operations, food service was great! Landscaping in some areas was really surprising as bushes where growing over ride queue walls, some spots of the lake near the shore was quite interesting. Anyways, my reviews on the coasters: -Thunderhawk: IF THERE IS EVER A GOOD SLC (Yes you heard that right), I have found it. I don't know if this is a newer SLC or what, but I loved Thunderhawk. I kept my head forward out of the restraint and it was an awesome ride! 8/10 -Shivering Timbers: What an awesome woodie! Not #1 but the airtime is phenomenal! Although I will say I was kind of dissapointed when the only smooth ride you can get is in the front seat........Also, I have never heard upstop's rolling as fast as they can when you hit the brake run as I did on this coaster. Truely the airtime is great! 10/10 -Wolverine Wildcat: A good woodie, not to shabby. The double up and double down where the best part's though! 7/10 -Mad Mouse: My first Arrow wild mouse, found it about as good as the ricochet clones, but not as good as Primervial Whirl but still a fun ride! 7/10 -Zachs Zoomer: meh, felt like Woodstock express with an extra bunny hill. 4/10 -Big Dipper: It was ok. 4/10 -Corckscrew: Typical Arrow corckscrew although it was interesting as this was my first ride on a model with no vertical loops. 6/10 Enjoy the pics and videos! [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] Peace out MIA! Ki and IB reports will be up soon!
  23. Honestly just use Facebook and Instagram mainly because of running CoasterMatt Productions. Twitter and Snapchat are used just as the same as Facebook and Instagram though!
