^ Which I have not purchased it yet...I don't really see a point in getting it to be quite honest. I am curious how the IOS versions will be but that's a completely different topic. TPS will definitely be the answer to our requests and desires! I may as well surrender any form of social life once this game comes out

Same here! There's already those archways that cover the speed hill (head choppers + airtime = possible "oh poo-poo!" moment). I wonder if the whole first drop will be covered, that would be a nice touch! Part of me wonders if just the crest will be covered, for screaming reasons. *Begins thinking of Ghost Rider at Knotts with it's partially covered first drop* I think I know which row I'll spend most of my riding time at

Is that an archway/'do not stand up' sign? Or is that just the top of a bent? It's hard to tell from the just about straight on profile. It also made me wonder...is the drop going to be covered? Anyway, it looks like it's just about ready to peak, just a few more bents to go! Also looks like that bottom of the drop is just beginning to swoop upwards!

Some new hotness: (Subscribe to their Youtube page if you haven't already for future video updates) Recommendation: Watch in full screen in HD if you can to really see what's happening. The construction reminds me of a bit of RCT3 (Awesome! Can have bits and pieces to use much like LEGOs) and some of the materials in LittleBigPlanet (LBP features a variety of different 'materials' that you can shape, though LBP goes more into physics and such with specific properties of each type of material) that you can use to create objects. What I'm really liking: The ability to take what you have created and being able to copy and paste it...followed by being able to rotate. This could prove useful creating stations or things with repeating objects. I like that you can take the object afterwards and scale it as well...built your custom entry gates too big or is a bit off-centered? you can take it and adjust it afterwards, no need to have to tear it down and remake it (like we'd have to do in RCT3...and I've had plenty of that). If you haven't hop on over to their Facebook and give them a like! This is looking pretty neat, again can't wait to try this!

Nice to see the Boardwalk get some TLC, paint-wise. It's a shame that Haunted Castle has a touch of 'off-season-itis' (as in not being fully functional). I think I do recall some audio (that familiar, catchy ending theme in the guillotine room) not playing, just the sfx only. This was back in August when I rode. I remember an earlier report (BlueFireGuy's?) showing how rusted Fireball looked. I'm glad that was addressed and now the ride looks like new (though a bit bare at the moment as it doesn't have its light fixtures mounted)!

This has been a very 'golden' week and I'm very happy to see that things seem to be picking up after what seemed to be a screeching halt. CGA posted another pic in which I almost didn't even recognize the area! Glad to see the parking structure next door will be completely obscured by GS's lift! Here it is Wonder if carousel souvenirs is going to be converted to a photo booth and GS gift shop.

Liked, commented, and shared When this comes out, I just want to bid farewell to life as this will take over. As a Facebook user said, (for those familiar with the PS3 game LittleBigPlanet), this will pretty much be the LBP in the theme park games/sims/whatever you want to classify this as...I'm going to just call it a sandbox!

It is possible to feel like you've overdone yourself and everything seems to not quite stand out as much as if you had done just 1 visit there. This sort of happened with me during Haunt season. I was out at the park every weekend for CGA's Haunt and while in the past I had gone 2-3 times, I had done 6 Haunt visits this season...with that many visits, I hardly remember any of the highlights as many moments were able to be recreated. In the end I did enjoy every bit of Haunt and on the last day of the park operation, I didn't quite find it as hard leaving the park when it came time as I was very well satisfied with everything I had done. In the end, even with frequent visits to my home park I like to mix things up a bit on each of my visits so they all don't feel identical.

Alton Towers Discussion Thread
Angry_Gumball replied to Ed's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Did this as a mock up to back up your theory. I can see what you're getting at! Exactly! I'm glad I just wasn't going off the deep end! It sort of reminds me of how Stinger's logo was done up at Dorney Park. Looking at the scorpion they designed, it looks very much like a Boomerang/Invertigo sans the loop. And yes, I like when logos are kind of done up showing off a unique characteristic or distinctive look of a ride. -
Honestly I don't mind the cloned rides. As someone who needs to travel more but can't afford to go across the country or to another country altogether, I can still enjoy/experience a B:TR that is only 6 hours away as opposed to having to travel across the US to ride one. I would eventually like to experience the clones to up the credit count and compare how the others perform among each other.
