Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread
Shut It Down replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
As a person who lives on the west coast, never been to CP, this makes me jealous lol. I will be making my first trip to Cedar point next year! I'm blown away! -
Good news out of SWSD, my brother was at the park yesterday and said there are construction walls up for the new electric eel coaster. He said there are signs posted on the walls advertising the new Sky Rocket 2! Looks like they cleared all the necessary hurdles and the ride will actually be built!!

I'm willing to bet money that CGA WILL get an RMC Raptor. I'm also willing to bet that they will get it open before SFFT. And I'm also willing to bet it'll be a similar, if not identical layout. I agree with everything you just said. Fiesta Texas has to remove an entire ride before they can start construction, CGA has already started their construction.

Who are you? I am the King of UN-substantiated opinions! The Master of Conjecture! The Supreme Hypothesizer! All speculation, guesswork, hunches or inference to anything that has not been proven true regarding all things in any way remotely related to amusement parks is my territory. Opine at your own risk, amateurs!! Werd

Doesn't count as a renewed relationship, IMO. For one, CF worked with them a year ago on a flat ride. Before that they did one coaster back in 2006. You don't renew a relationship with someone you worked with once. That doesn't even count as a relationship. Did you have a relationship with that one girl that you went on one date with a decade ago? No, it was one date. If you looked her up ten years later, does that count as renewal? Not in my book. I'm still calling an Intamin coaster more along the lines of Fahrenheit with the space saving vertical lift and a beyond 90 drop. And it stops at the top like a B&M dive coaster. The Ledge. I think Hang Time is for a flat ride. Who are you?

Just out of curiosity, has Knotts filed any sort of permits for this project with the city of Buena Park? I feel like if they're building something tall they have to get some sort of approval from the city especially if it could go over 200 feet. Anyone know if they had to file anything for any past projects like Windseeker?
