  1. If the ride peaks at '150, and then the 60 degree holding slope, that puts the drop around '130 or so?
  2. Now that we know Hangtime will reside pretty much solely in Boomerang and Riptides old spot, I wonder why they put walls around coast rider?
  3. I've never been on a beyond vertical drop coaster. Does going beyond vertical bring more to the drop?
  4. Well I was wrong about 200 feet, but right about the Gerstlauer Infinty!! Looks great, I'm excited to ride this next year!! Huge improvement over boomerang!!
  5. As a person who lives on the west coast, never been to CP, this makes me jealous lol. I will be making my first trip to Cedar point next year! I'm blown away!
  6. I have a really good feeling this WILL hit 200 feet.
  7. I haven't seen an actual source, but I've heard around 7pm Dang that's later than I was expecting!?
  8. Maybe it's been said and I missed it but, what time is the announcement tomorrow?
  9. Good news out of SWSD, my brother was at the park yesterday and said there are construction walls up for the new electric eel coaster. He said there are signs posted on the walls advertising the new Sky Rocket 2! Looks like they cleared all the necessary hurdles and the ride will actually be built!!
  10. My favorite flat of all time, what I wouldnt give to have the restraints crush my thighs once more Hammerhead had great theming as well. Miss that ride
  11. Fixed I'm not buying on an Intamin Surfrider. They wouldn't have cleared that much space for a ride that takes up that small of a footprint. They could've have practically fit one in wipeouts old spot.
  12. I'm willing to bet money that CGA WILL get an RMC Raptor. I'm also willing to bet that they will get it open before SFFT. And I'm also willing to bet it'll be a similar, if not identical layout. I agree with everything you just said. Fiesta Texas has to remove an entire ride before they can start construction, CGA has already started their construction.
  13. I 100% think that's what Six Flags was doing here. I'm all in with CGA getting a raptor as well.
  14. I wouldn't say removed, it seems too late for that, but I could definitely see the ride traveling over and around the ride.
  15. I wouldn't say removed, it seems too late for that, but I could definitely see the ride traveling over and around the ride.
  16. Is everyone else as convinced as I am that this WILL be the first ever RMC raptor?
  17. Got to ride back in 2005 when it was still dueling and it was amazing. When you're going head on with the other train just before the loop was unreal. RIP
  18. Who are you? I am the King of UN-substantiated opinions! The Master of Conjecture! The Supreme Hypothesizer! All speculation, guesswork, hunches or inference to anything that has not been proven true regarding all things in any way remotely related to amusement parks is my territory. Opine at your own risk, amateurs!! Werd
  19. Doesn't count as a renewed relationship, IMO. For one, CF worked with them a year ago on a flat ride. Before that they did one coaster back in 2006. You don't renew a relationship with someone you worked with once. That doesn't even count as a relationship. Did you have a relationship with that one girl that you went on one date with a decade ago? No, it was one date. If you looked her up ten years later, does that count as renewal? Not in my book. I'm still calling an Intamin coaster more along the lines of Fahrenheit with the space saving vertical lift and a beyond 90 drop. And it stops at the top like a B&M dive coaster. The Ledge. I think Hang Time is for a flat ride. Who are you?
  20. I'm going with the Gerstlaurer Infinity with a beyond vertical drop called The Ledge and sticking with it. Somebody quote me on 8/16. Lol
  21. Screamscape has reported the park will make its announcement on August 16th
  22. Knotts posted on their instagram that the Boardwalk BBQ is now open!
  23. Just out of curiosity, has Knotts filed any sort of permits for this project with the city of Buena Park? I feel like if they're building something tall they have to get some sort of approval from the city especially if it could go over 200 feet. Anyone know if they had to file anything for any past projects like Windseeker?
