  1. I have to give a big shoutout to knotts. I lost my iPhone X on silver bullet, and somehow it survived the fall and an amazing patron turned it in to the ride staff! They tested my password and gave it back. I asked how it survived and they said maybe 1/10. The bushes below. Long story short, a hope for humanity!!!
  2. Out of curiosity has anyone experienced the new DreamWorks theater attraction? From what I was reading it sounded pretty cool.
  3. Exactly, my home Park is knotts and I’m pretty much at the point of not going on super crowded days. I would never pay for fastlane there. If you’re traveling far to check out a park, you better be purchasing fastlane!!
  4. Like it’s been said before, if you’re traveling to Cedar Point do not hesitate to get the fast lane plus. Yes, it hurts at first to spend over $90 per ticket but once in the park it’s like being in a dream. You literally have the entire park to yourself including steel Vengence. It will make your trip amazing. There was probably 10+ times me and my girlfriend were walking thru the fastlane thinking “imagine standing in that line” and then literally walking on maverick and valravyn and TTD. Amazing
  5. Well I finally got to Cedar Point this past weekend and it was everything I hoped it would be and then some. It was the greatest day I’ve ever had at a theme park. Steel Vengence is the best coaster I have ever ridden (my legs still hurt today). Fast lane is the greatest invention of all time, it allowed me to basically marathon Steel Vengence on a busy Saturday! 7 rides in total and every ride was better than the last. All of the other legendary coasters lived up to the hype and I can’t wait to get back when I can. BBQ and Brews festival was amazing too, you basically get six beers for $25! For theme park pricing that is astonishing.
  6. Thanks for the info. I may be able to hit the park on Sunday as well for a few hours and there isn’t rain in the forecast. So if I miss anything I’ll be sure to hit them then. Also, only other question I have is, where in cedar point is the best to get a good beer?
  7. Hey guys sorry to beat a dead horse, but I’ll be heading to cedar point for the first time this Saturday and the weather is showing scattered thunder storms and with a 60% chance of rain and winds ranging from 10-20 mph. Should I be generally concerned about any ride closures?
  8. I know to always take screamscape with a grain of salt, but he’s saying that the 2020 rumors are for a large coaster south of Ghostrider. Not sure where that would even be?? I just don’t see it. But we will see.....
  9. Jurassic World is a sequel/reboot to Jurassic Park, not it’s own franchise. I think it will be fine over the long haul. My only concern is like everyone else, replacing all of the practical effects that make Jurassic Park the ride great and replacing it with screens and CGI effects. Personally I don’t see how they’re going to have the two Dino’s at the end battle without it being screen effects. We will see what happens, but I’m really hoping they go all out and make it entirely practical effects!
  10. I just read that Jurassic Park will close on September 3rd to be transformed into Jurassic World the ride! https://www.google.com/amp/www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-jurassic-park-ride-20180509-story.html%3foutputType=amp
  11. When you say “on site” you mean buy at the park? I’ve heard that there’s only a limited amount of fast lanes available each day, is this true?
  12. How do you get the free upgrade? I don’t see the option to put in your a platinum member on the website to get the upgrade.
  13. I am heading to the park for the first time on June 9th and couldn’t be more stoked. I am a platinum pass holder with knotts as my home park. My girlfriend and I are certainly going to get fast lane plus passes. This is probably a dumb question but is there anywhere else to buy them at a cheaper price? I was looking on cedar points website and for the two of us it will be $250! Also, is it smarter to buy them now? I never even looked into them at knotts.
  14. It looks like wipeout is coming back as well. It will be located right below Hangtimes pretzel loop.
  15. Quick question, what is the cheapest and best place to stay near cedar point for one night?
  16. It looks amazing!!! I’m making my first trip to CP in June and I literally can’t wait!
  17. It was reported that SWSD had 500,000 lesss guests than previous year. This is very unfortunate news as this is a great park and doesn’t deserve this backlash!!!
  18. I agree with what you’re saying here. This will be full demolition and not a transform by any means. Although I did read from one source that It’s tough to be a bug will be revamped into a new attraction based on marvel. I’m not buying that though considering they’re closing the ride now, two years from opening! A redo would never take that long. Also, look on google maps, from it’s tough to be a bug entrance to the entire bugs land plot there is a lot of land to work with. I don’t think this will be cheap down at all. Plus this will be DCA first “real” construction in 6 years
  19. Nice footage, by far the best I’ve seen yet. I think the drop will be great. It looks like the ride itself is ready to go, how’s the station and exit building looking?
