  6. Last Saturday I went to the Basler Herbstmesse (Autumn fair), which is one of the largest fun fairs in Switzerland and in the middle of the city on several places. I went there by train and met some friends at the train station. We then went together over the fair. Because this text would be too long if I write something about every ride, I'll tell you the 3 best things I've experienced there. First the 80m tall Spin Tower, I got the most thrilling ride on any drop tower there because it was first inside a big hole of a building and second were we sitting on this side of the tower where we got near-miss-of-death. It was frightening and awesome as well! The second thing was on Crazy Run, where they played the countdown which you can hear at the end of Euro Sat's lifthill at Europapark! Then my friend said he had this as well in Lucerne and then on Octopus the Euro Mir music. And the third thing was, of course they played the Euro Mir music while I was on the Octopus! My stomach almost bursted because I was laughing so hard on the Octopus! (video comming soon) We had a very funny and great day in Basel. Here I already have my POV of the Spin Tower with near-miss-of-death [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] And of course the photos: And Swing up looks brilliant since the refurbishment last winter Looks great And the ghost train looked good as well And another place Always looks fantastic in the dark And Maxximum 2 next to it Hey Spin Tower, weren't you double as tall as you are now? Condor, the 80m Starflyer And to the next place BTW: the ferris wheel in the back is the one which is at Europapark during the winter season! Oh, and it had Europapark bins in front of it! Or "puke de puke" for me Loop de Loop On the way to Basel pass the Spin Tower in the "black hole" And Speed And it's getting dark Hi Spin Tower Some more loop de loop Wohoo, I'm there Already dark? Nope, It's just in a hall, which isn't that cool :/ (no loud music & no fog!) And the view from top of the parking lot Weee, Drifting Coaster Crazy Run with the Eurosat countdown! And the Octopus which played the EURO MIR SOUNDTRACK WHILE I WAS RIDING IT!!!!! Best Octopus ride of my life! It was such an awesome day and I want to thank my friends who made this day so awesome and thank you for reading my photo TR. Thank You Kiddie drop tower And the last place
  7. The Swarm @ Thorpe Park on October 2nd Count #116
  8. Really? Does this make such a big difference? Well I rode it around 10:30am in the front row. I will ride it later in the day when I'm back there sometime in the future with a car door in the front row and not forgetting to yell at disabled people
  9. Hello During my 3 week long language stay in Cambridge, UK, I decided to visit Thorpe Park on one day. I've choosen sunday the 2nd of October to visit. I got up at 5 o'clock in the morning and left with the bike at 6 and headed towards the train station. There I took the train to London, which took the train 1 hour and 10 minutes (and it felt like a Vekoma train ). After changing stations in London I continued to Staines, where the Bus took me to the Park. I arrived around 9:10am there and got in line to enter the park at 9:30am. When it opened I went directly to X and I got to ride it in the first train of the day. Then I went in the back of the park to Stealth and rode it twice, due it's line was just around 5 minutes. Then I headed over to Nemesis Inferno and later SAW and the other coasters. The crowds were pretty okay for a sunny Sunday with a temperature of around 60*F. Here are all rides I rode and the MAXIMUM wait time of the day from those rides. Stealth: 3x (25 min) Nemesis Inferno: 1x (30 min) Colossus: 2x (35 min) SAW: 2x (45 min) The Swarm: 2x (25 min) X: 1x (35 min) Storm Surge: 1x (40 min) Flying Fish: 1x (10 min) Detonator: 3x (10 min) Ghost Train: 0x (100 min) Note: I didn't went on the Ghost Train and all those flatrides because my stomach is too weak for that and I hate scary attractions... Overall it was a pretty fun day and it was worth it. I made a Vlog at Thorpe Park, here it is: [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] And now the photos: What a beauty I love this drop tower, even if it is just 100ft tall, because you're flying in your seat during the drop! Ahh, I got dizzy on those heartline rolls Nice ride, but where are the g-forces? Waiting for the train in Cambridge Weeee Looks great but No Thanks And Stealth First X (those 5 mins is the time you need to walk to the station) And dropping in front of the sun Next Nemesis Inferno Colossus And arriving at Thorpe Park Storm Surge was fun Let's ride it It's a pretty intense coaster, but wayy to short... but I still like it And over the big bridge Well, this sign said 50 mins, but it was only 30 mins, which was alright Gate Pre-lift section And here comes the train After Kärnan and Fluch von Novgorod I expected it to be kinda rough, but it was pretty smooth, except a bit of rattle on one part of the ride. Looks good but still, no thanks And remember, either leave your smartphone in the station or put it in a zip pocket, otherwise this could be your phone!!! I hope you liked this photo trip report and thank you for reading But still looks fantastic And last but not least, The Swarm Great B&M Winger, but a bit short of a ride. Fun coaster Next up, SAW Walking around And the station was also themed well Very acceptable wait time Pretty good wait time Aaaahhhhh, helix of death, weeeeeee Entrance

  14. Is it still fun? Would you recommend it? Fun not really. But I recommend riding it for the count and then you know that you don't wanna ride again...
  15. Robb, would you do this when you see a selfie stick in a theme park? [fbvideonew]https://www.facebook.com/KrankeVideos2.0/videos/1091552464233002/[/fbvideonew]
  16. So, finally here are the photos from the Fun Fair in Einsiedeln from last Sunday till Tuesday. Overall it was a quite good fun fair and I had a lot of fun there. The rides, at least those I've ridden, were fun. Especially the 267ft tall Funtime freefalltower. But one thing that disturbed me a bit was it's price. While the Swiss Towe coast last year 8CHF (about 8$), the Spin Tower cost 10CHF. But in Lucerne the Spin tower also just cost 8CHF per ride. But it's still a great ride. And now the photos: Wohooo, it's fun fair time Wohoo, Spin Tower And a classical carousel Der Burner burns it's passengers to the sun Bumper cars And the view from the other end of the fair Yayyy Fun City Disco Express And Freestyle Insider, an italian knock off Break Dance Some more Spin Tower shots Insider I hope you enjoyed reading this photo Trip Report and thanks for reading. The lights are on so it's getting dark soon I love fun fairs in the dark Weeeeee And last but not least
  17. Yes, I have hay fever Are you at school right now?
  18. No Are you scared of spiders?
  19. Granted, but then you would be the only one left on TPR. I wish I could go to the freeride-hour at my local funfair instead of going to school.
  20. Yes, if you count "weeeeee" as scream Do you eat a lot of fruits/vegetables?
  21. 6/10 Italian knock off Break Dance
