Bellewaerde Park Discussion Thread
wamme replied to Francois's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Actually, El volador opened last week And I heard that it isn't that thrilling as it sounds (topling from right to left from 20 meter at 60°) it's more like a familly-attraction... Oh well, at least it's a World Premiere so i'm probably going to check it out this/next month -
euhm and turning your calendar 2 months further? btw for some who are having MSN-Plus, if you didn't read the agreement during the install and yust clicked "yes I agree" then you have yust installed spyware with it:) Right thing to do is=> first yes i Agree, after that, No i don't agree and then click next (it was something like that i don't remember it very good)

lol, don't know why you did did install that before you knew what it did but i have some sollutions With this program you can trick everyone in your MSN-list. MsnFunMaker allows you to do the following things to your MSN-buddies: - Watching all their incomming and outgoing MSNmessages. - Change their NickName into whatever you want. - Open a website in front of them, you can choose the url yourself ! - Let them logout. - You can force them to receive nomore MsnMessages from anyone. (you can enable this option and disable it again) - You can force them that they can't send any MsnMessages anymore.(you can enable this option and disable it again) - Let their computer restart. - Open the CDdrive. - MsnFunMaker also contains an option wich allows you to send MsnMessages to people in your 'victims' MSN-buddie-list. So they will think his/her friend is saying it. *It will stop after 1 month (they say themselves... ) so you don't go on msn 1 month No, You can turn your clock and Calender on your PC 2 months further, restart your pc then check if it stopped *try to reinstall msn, this may work or not (don't know myself) otherwise you have to format your pc :? *Get yourself a virusscanner because the prog contains at least 1 virus * There are solutions where you can go mess in your register to clean some registerkeys but if you delete wrong things your pc can be messed and I don't want it to be my fault (only try this when you are experienced). You can find something about it if you google => What about changing your avater now

I wasn't refering to anyone in particular, only the fact that the subject of this thread changed after 3 responses in Vekoma Maybe you can yust open a topic about Vekoma btw: I wasn't yelling, it yust easier for me to use 1) 2) 3) then make 1 continous text (the next time I will use *) I can see that it makes problems if you read them as first...second...third, but it were yust 3 different thoughts on what was posted before. *Still I don't think that Vekoma has to much problems (neather found that article) maybe they want to sell less and give better quality? because those failing Deja Vu's didn't gave them good publicity *I already went to Alton Towers (with it's B&M's) would trade for Bobbejaanland (3 Vekoma's) any time

On topic: When will that park be ready? It states that it would be around 2005 but if they still are buying/building coasters it's still a construction yard. Off topic: ^Jeezes, stop the whining @ Vekoma, isn't there one single thread where you don't have to state "Why is this crap?... ow because it's a Vekoma". Even when the topic handels about a B&M flyer in China you start about Vekoma. 1) Vekoma isn't bankrupt nor dead nor are they yust copiing things: http://www.coastersandmore.de/rides/iaapa2004/iaapa4.shtml + Everest Project + buidling booster coasters @ Netherlands and United Kingdom 2) In the most engineering contracts states that you can't go work for the competition if you leave the company (or leave to start a new company)... So maybe Kumbak has fired personnel of Vekoma (managment/cleaning laidy/enigeneers?) maybe that's why they don't have much projects 3) I'm wondering how many people have really ridden Vekoma rides?? In Belgium-Netherland every Park has 2-3 Vekoma coasters and if these coasters were half that bad as everybody here's telling, those Parks would have closed long time ago... But every summer they are still packed with visitors Maybe there's yust something wrong with you guys across the sea

Bellewaerde Park Discussion Thread
wamme replied to Francois's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
After the anouncement that Bellewaerde would open the first operative Topple Tower (http://www.hussrides.com/5-ClassicToppleTower.htm), at the start of their new saeson 3 weeks ago. They still can't get it past the testing runs... http://www.nieuwsblad.be/Article/Detail.aspx?ArticleID=GDCE4929 =>little translation: "Due to the high-technological character of the Topple Tower and the numerous build in safety equipment we only recently started the last testing phase. The engineers still don't know when it will be ready to open but in the mean time EVERY paying visitor is getting a free ticket to the park to come back when El Volador has finally opened (already 3 weeks ) " I hope it won't have to many mechanical problems when it finally opens... -
If i hadn't had a PS2 I would maybe buy one Since all the games they are launching for PSP are pritty much the same as PS2 (except Luminus and card game of Metal Gear Solid)

Coaster posters - Where can you find them?
wamme replied to wamme's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
thanx that Millenium Poster is looking great. As for ebay i'm living in Europe and most things I can find are only shipped to United states or I have to pay (rather) much to let it ship. Moreover some things are way overprissed for being "second handed" http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=13878&item=3968543034&rd=1 So i'm probably going to stick to that cedar point shop. -
Disneyland Paris (DLP) Discussion Thread
wamme replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
=> Paris Disney's Space Mountain is a Vekoma baby ! -meant in the good way- well it's what you call smooth or rough. The reviewer even complaned about the retrains that are too hard ?! "Unfortunately the ride is not smoother than before and the new over-should-safety-retrains in the now silver gleaming trains are still rather hard " There could be worse things on a rollercoaster than hard retrains and I would never step out of one for having such retrains. I think I will check it myself before I'm going to advice against riding it to other people. I rode the mission 1 couple of times and didn't found it that rough only that the cars were small for large people. (my brother his knee rubbed to the seat in front of him therefore he had to replace his feet to sit confortable ) -
Disneyland Paris (DLP) Discussion Thread
wamme replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
yesterday, three day's before public opening on 9 april, there was a press event planned for Space Mountain Mission 2... all details read here http://www.dlp.info/Guide/News-And-Rumours/Specials/SM-M2-Press-Event.asp one of the best parts = ".... making for a still rather rough ride – on the other hand which space trip past meteors, comets and super novas is smooth?" -
good comment Maybe you learned something from CNN? I would go look fast to it again maybe they finally anounced that they're also are going to ring bells with it... specially for the not so gifted people (hint above) as for SuperCrack you are totally right for the lower part of your comment. Isn't really true actually for the Rome-Catholic Christians his dead means alot it's the representative of their religion and it's sort of their bond to God/Christ. It is normal that they find this terrible. But I thought that most Americans were'nt Romes-Catholic? oh well it's yust like everybody is going mad: even Fidel Castro went to curch after 51 years OEH YEAH he's a true believer ...not

I also recently saw Before Sunset it's pritty good and there were some funny parts in it too =>a movie that has it all (story, women, action, commedy) But i'm still really fond of: House of flying daggers Never had heard of it but I really liked it. Althought there are some parts where you think "Ow yes that's realistic " Movie is completly in Chinese so now you Americans can experience how it feels to read subtitles for 2 hours and maybe make the next movie in Dutch to give us a break?

hi, I'm wondering for a while where you can find posters of coasters. I've been searching the net but couldn't find something intresting. (shame on you Google you failed me twice ) Couldn't find it neither in the giftshop of Walibi Belgium (formerly known as Six Flags Belgium) So does any of you have any idea where you can get posters? Thank you edit: With the opening of Space Mountain MS2 it was easy to get one... by euh taking it from a sign-board but i can't go doing that for coasters all over the world... they would probably make a "wanted -very dangerous" sign of me Also: it isn't necessary that there's a coaster on the picture. A name and some art is enough...

oh my last time i trust your links after some googling I found it was http://www.cruisecritic.com what a great site -you can win T-shirts (Hint Hint ) -theirs a special dating thingie going on their http://www.cruisecritic.com/community/meetandmingle.cfm but the fact that you know that site troubles me, maybe you have to much spare time or maybe you starting to get other intrests 8) robbalvey playing on his bed= *Captain we need full power....... give me a powered launch out of this creek* with matching sound effects ow no, and now I'm stuck whith the theme of "The Love Boat" http://calwestray.tripod.com/images/love_boat.mid (so now everybody can sing along)

Are you a soccer fan or do you play soccer?
wamme replied to Hattuchili's topic in Random, Random, Random
hi, I also love soccer, mostly the big tournaments like The Champions League. I used to like Chelsea but with Mourhino as coach they're getting arrogant. :? It's not that they are bad but they aren't really better than Barcelona (maybe close to Real Madrid/Bayern Munchen) ...al the bragging at each press conference... and starting to threaten the referee+familly for things that even haven't occured... I'm fan for the club that gives the most value for your credit and at this moment that is Barcelona 8) -
Amadeus btw JohnFreak: most of your movies aren't that great ex: The Rundown is far far worser than Matrix
-
tsk, it's better this way. All that chocking isn't healthy anyways :? hehe this already was an appeal of Sony. Normally they only had to pay the fine of 90 mil. but now they have to stop selling
-
don't know if they already gave you this info but hey yust skip this one then (otherwise i have to read 6 full pages, lazy ) Question #1: Overall there won't be to much of a crowd. Only the last week of June when some schools close early (or plan school trips to fill that week) could give some turnup. Question #2: "Day 4: Bobejaaland, then drive 4 hours to hotel near Walibi World" Depending on stops that would surelly take less than 4 hours (or you should stop every 30 min.) Other possibility is that the hotel isn't "near Walibi World" but like an hour driving. Question #3: Is about realistic, but don't know for sure if there are much traffic jams in Denmark at mornings. (in Belgium,Netherlands,France, driving between 7.30 - 9 am can give big traffic problems) Question #13: It's the first vacation day it will probably be crowded

I recently saw Shaun of the Dead and Garfield the movie. Shaun of the dead was funny at some parts but not that good overall, (i didn't payed attention to much because i was sick when i saw it) Garfield the movie on the other hand, had very funny parts that kept me laughing through the dull moments where they tried to set a plot (so i would advise not to see it for the story because that's very, very lame)

How Old Are You & What Was Your 1st Coaster?
wamme replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
i'm 19 years. my first coaster was "Air Race". http://www.rcdb.com/ig915.htm?picture=1 It's a hell of a good VEKOMA I was attracted by the planes, but we got screaming when they started swinging in the turnes (later we got to know it's perfectly normal for a suspended one) [/url]
