Wouldn't it make sense to open it on May 8, 2016, the exact 40 year anniversary of the ride opening? If I were them, that would be what I was shooting for.

Did you get this deal by calling them, or talking to someone at the park? I did it online. Clicked cancel. You have to pick a reason. Go with affordability one. They will give you a one time only offer, but it really is not. Decline it. They will give you another. That is the 5.99 one.

Considering it is a holiday, it is not bad. But us is definitely not off season light. TC is at about 35-40 minutes.

I did, but I was paying over ten bucks a month. When canceling, I said too expensive. They countered with 7 something, I refused, then they offered the 5.99. If they raise yours, it.Will most.likely be the 25 cents. They did that to me. I was waiting for this sale to cancel, but they made it easy to keep.

Thanks for the feedback! Looks like I'll be going the first weekend of October then. I kinda figured that would probably be the case. If you go on Friday, and get there when they open, you can knock out a lot of rides. I did this last year, and it was empty until about 2:00. I was able to do multiple rides on the same coaster, plenty of times.

just got home. it was dead. we didn't ride, batman, apocalypse, superman, and viper. the rest were walk ons. often running partial empty trains. parking lot was as other have said this week. full first section and the part in front of the picnic area. that's with HH. it was hot, but surprisingly manageable. actually did back to back roaring rapids. i haven't even ridden it in years. lol oh, jet stream mid afternoon was the longest line i saw. over the bridge and down to the entrance. good day Thanks for the update. I am hoping for the same tomorrow. If anybody is going tomorrow, would love to say hi to a fellow enthusiast. I am actually going to get in an hour early for the Honda ERT. Looking forward to a hopefully deserted park!

I am heading up there Friday for the Honda ERT. By the sounds of it, the whole park is ERT this week. Hopefully, this trend continues.

Good to know. I would had thought that Tuesday and Wednesday of that week will be less busy than Friday. Are we talking so dead that TC will be a walk-on all day? We're talking so dead that you can walk on to every ride in the park including TC, X2, and YOLO all day from opening to closing as many times as you want. Buried somewhere in this thread from several years back is a photo TR from that day showing all the midways just completely empty. It is also a Honda ERT early entry day, with TC and Scream as the coasters. I will be there!

Glad I marathoned last Friday and got 10 rides in by noon. The plus side is I can wait for back row. In single rider line, I seemed to get rows 1-3 every time. The first drop is on the verge of lame, unless you are in the back.

Is anybody going this Friday (31st) for Honda Day ERT on TC and Scream? Would like to say hi to any fellow posters here. I plan to get there right at opening time (9:30) to marathon TC.

I went there on a Friday and it seems they open up other rides as well closer to opening. Not many people in the park so I'd say it would be worth it. Hey, thanks for the reply. What time did.they open up the parking lot? I am going solo that day, just for the ERT, really. Plan to marathon TC, get a few rides on Scream, hit Superman, then get out of Dodge before it gets crowded.

Which is weird....what difference would it make....X number of people enter through the gates, regardless of how many are waiting in line....

I agree with the Dodgers. I was there Saturday for the game and fireworks. They were awesome.
