I think your absoltely right and this is why we get these evil groups that use 'Christianity' as a weapon to force their homophobia and racism on others. These are not true Christians - Christianity is not a tool for hatred. It's rather like a court case; people will twist and contort the facts to suit themselves.

Wow. Do Americans have some kind of secret super priced travel agency? Ideally i wanted a hotel in the Disney area, but these were way too expensive - the cheapest alternative 5 star accomodation going in Tokyo was over £100 a night. The miracosta and surrounding hotels were around £300 ($600) a night. Also, we are worried that £800 good old british pounds isn't enough for a week in Tokyo, and thats just for food, transport etc. So Jarmor, i'm not sure if 250 squid will be enough... that would buy a meal for two, a train ticket and cheese sandwich on this side of the pond, and Tokyo is renowned for being pricey

Who ever thought that big thunder mountain, or space mountain could de-rail? There's no way I'd go on insanity! Statisitics show that a rollercoaster will de-rail once every 800,000th run....very unlikely, and it doesn't bother me with normal rides, but imagine derailing off the stratosphere tower :shock:

We got stuck on Peter Pan in DLP for 30 minutes over neverland. They turned all the lights on and cast members came out with megaphones. I kind of enjoyed sitting there though!

Ok, what do you think is the most romantic theme park attraction you've ever been on, or the best ride for couples? I would prob go for Spaceship Earth at Epcot (you can snuggle up!)

I personally hated Alton Towers becasue of the clientelle - chavs gobbing off the rides, kids being thugs in the queues... Nemesis was ok, but every time it was, "Oh, it's over?", whereas Montu is much longer, better themed and more exciting.

Yeah gonna have to do that, but that means getting to Disney a bit later than i would prefer. Do you remember if theres anything to do for 2 hours before the park opens (like if i got there for 7?) I had anticipated it might be a problem for me - it's not like going to Orlando or anywhere else where you can get buses, cars, etc to wherever you want. As far as i'm concerned the subway is a waiting room, undeground, on wheels, with no air, and no escape! :shock: Maybe the Japan network isn't that much underground though? Guess i'll just have to queue that little bit longer for Pooh's Hunny Hunt!

Oh my god :shock: I'm claustrophobic, i'm gonna die!!! I can't cope with london underground i lasted about 2 mins before i freaked out and got off 7 stops early and walked 6 miles. That was in the summer though. Looks like i'll have to take extra cash for taxis, brave it, or cancel the whole damn thang lol

It certainly does help thankyou! It's mine and my boyfriends first trip to Japan so really don't know what to expect. One other thing - is the subway really crowded in the morning or is there a good time to get it to avoid the crowds? (gonna have to use it to get to Disney for 4 days and around Tokyo) Or perhaps the JR lines are less crowded? Sorry to bombard you with questions!!! Sardine trains = :shock:

I find religion quite problematic because it can be extremely homophobic and hateful at times - not to mention contradictory! Isn't religion supposed to be about love? When in fact i see more hate in religion. People are judged as individuals, and i beleive that racists, homophobics and other hateful types won't have a place in any kind of heaven, if there is one. In my university we have a a lesbian gay and bisexual Christian group, so at least they fully understand what Christianity is meant to be. But personally i wouldn't want to expose myself to any homophobic hate. It hurts.

Hi Robb, (or anyone else who's been to Tokyo recently!) I'm going to Tokyo for a while in a few weeks, and i've heard stories that Japan is a 'cash only society'. A couple of websites say that Tokyo Disneyland only accepts Japan credit cards and not Mastercard, Visa etc. How did you manage your money when you were there?
