  1. All Wheels Extreme seems like a good show. Cedar Point puts on good shows.
  2. My guess about Cedar Fair buying Led Zeeplin was wrong. Oh Asians.
  3. Maybe whatever rides there left from Hard Rock/Freestyle park where bought by the Mexicans or Chinese? That's my wild guess! Screamscape was the source.
  4. Could MIA receive the Led Zeeplin B&M Looper from Hard Rock Park in 2015?
  5. T3 in 2015 and refurbished Twisted Twins in 2016. Nope. Not happening in my mind. They already have Lightning Run which is twisted and is steel.
  6. Fury 325, B&M Giga Coaster is what there getting. NOT a B&M Looper.
  7. $50 for that! That's the best fit for them, especially since Six Flags loves doing clones. What about Six Flags over Texas getting a clone of Superman: Ultimate Flight from Six Flags Discovery Kingdom? Too close to mr freeze imo. But i'm down for an X-Flight clone! It'd be hard to find that big of a chunk of land to put it in, assuming its going towards the rapids. Is there a chance that they would be working on Runaway Mountain? Is it currently open? Would they need to close Rapids to work on it? I'm only suggesting this because of an email survey I got from SFOT about a new indoor rollercoaster. There are footers set in the Roaring Rapids pond.
  8. Corkscrew at Cedar Point. Horrible ride.
  9. Cedar Fair should take a stab at Wildwater Kingdom and try to add a new slide complex next year to try to make more people come.
  10. It was just a guess, not a confirmation.
  11. If Cedar Fair did buy the "Led Zepplin" coaster, I'm guessing they'll send it to Valleyfair, Dorney Park, California's Great America, or Michigan's Adventure! I don't see either Valley fair or CGA. They said these two parks (and Carowinds) are their primary focus, which to me would mean capital investments. While this ride is a major ride, it is in fact relocated thus less money than a brand new ride. Out of the two parks, I see Michigan's Adventure taking it. They DESPERATELY need a new major coaster. Dorney on the other hand, has solid major coasters, and recently got Stinger. Watch it go to China instead. =P Haha!! MIA needs a BIG steel coaster and this will help fill the void. They also need a B&M
  12. Sorry about reposting something that you originally posted. I didn't see. Maybe, but it's kinda small area for a haunt building.
  13. Kings Island posted these two pictures on twitter. What could come to KI in 2015? A Screaming Swing? These are footers are right by The Beast.
  14. Why would CGA get a star flyer when SFDK has one? CGA does not have a 150 foot limit like SFDK so they could make it 301 ft. CGA does have height limits in place, if I am not mistaken, it is the height of Drop Tower (around 225 feet) due to the proximity of the San Jose Airport, the same issue keeps height limits for Downtown San Jose. 215-225 feet star flyer for 2015?
  15. That's why I like Cedar Fair. They rarely relocate coasters. Would Cedar Fair give some love to Michigan's Adventure though?
  16. I went yesterday (Monday) afternoon since the rain went away mid-day. Crowds were really light. All rides were pretty much a walk on. SO, if it does rain tomorrow (Wednesday), and clears up, you should be golden. Weather is saying we're supposed to get scattered storms all week. ---- On another note, when I went to Texas Giant yesterday, they were still stopping people at the ride entrance. Did a whole spiel about locking up loose articles and whatnot. When I got to the ride and it was my turn to ride, they must have been training people. The guy on the opposite side of the train asked if I was riding alone and I said yes. Then he whistled for the other operator and did some weird hand motion on his face (like he swiped the side of his nose) and then held up 3 fingers. She then came over to me and asked if I had anything in my pockets. I said no and pointed to the mesh baggy attached to the cart in front of me, which had my phone and keys in it. She asked me a couple of times and even had them unlock the restraints. Wtf. THEN the guy was like "No. Number 3!". We both look behind me and there was this little girl (had to have been like 7 or 8) sitting BY HERSELF on the ride. She had to be height checked (again, apparently). Employee didn't even apologize to me for harassing me about possibly having stuff in my pockets. Held up the whole dispatch of the train... What's the point of having the employees at the entrance if they're just going to check people again up at the station? This whole process is a little overkill. I understand they're being cautious, but holy moly there HAS to be a better way to handle things. Geez. That's why I really don't like going to Six Flags parks. Rude customer service, unclean park, and horrible ride ops. At Cedar Point, there are 2 people outside the entrance of Millenmum Force alerting people that there are no bins in the stations. But they aren't that rude about it.
  17. Yes, the source was screamscape. Did Cedar Fair buy this? Looking at Screamscape's description, Cedar Fair has depended on this company a lot. Could it go to Michigan's Adventure?
  18. The law came in effect AFTER Knott's installed it and it was inspected for the 1st time. Then, after the breakdown, the state of CA refused to sign off so CF decided to send it to WOF.
  19. Why would CGA get a star flyer when SFDK has one? CGA does not have a 150 foot limit like SFDK so they could make it 301 ft.
  20. Cedar Fair hasn't order a coaster from Intamin in 4 years.
  21. Iron Cyclone here we come! Taller, faster and steeper is what's coming. Six Flags New England will definitely be on the map for a park every coaster enthunaist will want to go to next year.
  22. 1) They already have a Mega Disk-O', Tiki Whirl. 2) 2015: Could it be a Star Flyer? WindSeekers won't work because of there single rail system and that's against the single rail system law in California. 3) Centurion got suspended back in February because Centurion, Inc in Libertyville, Illinois already owns the trademark to it. 325 foot giga coaster called Fury 325 for Carowinds 2015!! http://tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumber=86094874&caseType=SERIAL_NO&searchType=statusSearch http://tsdr.uspto.gov/documentviewer?caseId=sn86094874&docId=SUL20140204122218#docIndex=0&page=1
  23. Jeez. Zip ya lips Mr. Local Radio. The General Public hates spoilers.
