Soon to be opened death coaster is now at Keansburg Amusement Park. Should be open within the month. Was it really that bad?

Great trip report! I was able to ride the Coney Island Python earlier this summer, and it definitely has its moments of "WHY AM I ON THIS??"

Yeah they closed the other log flume. I assume it was a cost cutting measure. Luckily the one that's still there is easily the better of the two and is one of the few rides left that actually opened with the park. The lines can get a little long, though I've never seen it longer than an hour. Personally I think it's worth the wait. Hydro Flume closed in 2006. In fact, they converted the old rotating station into a show stage. I kinda wish they had kept it open because there are only 2 water rides in the park now. Movietown Water Effect also closed in 2007.

I was at Martin's Fantasy Island first weekend in June and was pretty disappointed. The ride ops on Silver Comet were bossy to the point of rudeness. They wouldn't let anyone pull down their own lap bars on PTC trains... seemed really strange. IN ADDITION the ride ops were very unfocused on the ride itself. One even made everyone wait so that she could talk to her kid in the exit of the station. That caused a one train wait to turn into 15-20mins. Add this onto the general state of disrepair, dirtiness in the park on the side of silver comet, and one of the most HEAVILY TRIMMED wild mouse coasters I have ever ridden. I'm sad to say I worry about this park's future.

I personally love intamin rides. Although it is sad that the last one built in north america was back in 2012 (Skyrush).

I'll agree with the 31 other people in the thread that mentioned Predator at Darien Lake. RMC has repaired it in recent years but I don't know what it has done. I'm also happy to see a few people mention raging wolf bobs at Geauga Lake.

Sorry in case i missed it, but is Galaxi being removed during the operating season? Or will it be removed during the offseason?

The overbanks are what do it for me. So much sidways action!

Ghostrider would be an awesome candidate for RMC. I remember riding it in 2001, and it was one of my favorite wooden coasters. I went back in 2007 and it completely dropped out of my top 10. Sad to see.

I was at Kings Island over the weekend. Saturday night lines were hefty already when I queued for Diamondback. I could tell the ride ops were really trying to get people moving with the new seatbelts, but we still ended up wating 1hr45mins. I'm hoping this can be attributed to growing pains and that they can get efficiency improved over the long haul.
