I thought the same thing. I think the issue is that the overall theme park, more than just coaster, enthusiast community would rarely make it to SFSL if it wasn't their home park.
Yeah, I live in St. Louis, and I only make it up to Six Flags 2, maybe three times a year. It's probably because I can really see and ride everything there worth riding in 3-4 hours. It makes sense that if you're not from here you wouldn't bother coming to SFSL.
