Honestly, I'd rather see new picnic pavilions than a stand-up coaster. Stand-up coasters are the worst idea in the world.

I've ridden it in the front, but it doesn't just have the same whip that riding in the back does.

I could not be happier if another stand-up coaster is never, ever built ever again.

I honestly don't understand the hate for Wildcat that people seem to have. I did not find it at all painful when I rode it earlier this summer. It was a much more pleasant ride than Thunderhawk at Dorney Park.

The last few times I've ridden Thunderhawk I've gotten off in pain, so I generally avoid it.

In all my times at the park I have never seen the Skull Mountain waterfall running. I most likely won't get back to the park again this year, so I hope they run it next season.

Well, I got an email from Great Adventure today saying they found my wallet. Does anyone know if I can go pick it up when the park isn't open for rides by going through the employee/delivery entrance?

My first time visiting the park was the year they introduced Hydra so I don't really know what it was like in the early days. I can say that I like the atmosphere at Knoebels much better than Dorney Park, although that might have something to do with the fact that Knoebels doesn't blast bland pop music throughout the park.

What I like about Thunder Creek Mountain is its "crooked" lift hill. It's the only log flume I know of that has the two sections of its lift hill at two different angles of ascent.

Not bitter. I just don't root for a team if it's not the Yankees, Devils, Giants, or Knicks.

I honestly couldn't care less what happens with the World Series. The Yankees didn't make it, so I'm not following it.

I just got back from a short stay at Great Adventure. Man, was it cold today! I can't imagine what it's going to be like during Holiday in the Park. While I was on Superman I must have forgotten to zipper my left jacket pocket because when I got off I no longer had my wallet, cellphone, or iPod touch. I reported the loss to the park, but I'm not holding my breath on getting them back. I saw the pics of Kevin "Theme Park Maniac" Gregg near the Nitro operator's booth.

I actually met him a few times and he really was a nice guy. It's because of his raving about Garden State Grill that I started eating there for lunch during my visits to the park.

I, too, only met him a couple times, but I also thought he was a really nice guy.

Or, you could follow their entirely reasonable policy, and not abuse the pass. The park could not survive if it offered shared passes, so it does not. On what grounds should you be exempted?

Verbolten's is pretty amusing. In the voice of Gerta: "Get outzen ze vay! Verbolten ist drivink!"

Actually, Cedar Fair as a company did not exist until Cedar Point and Valleyfair merged. So, technically, those are the only two "Cedar Fair" parks.

I have never had a smooth ride on Hydra. I still like the ride, but it is nowhere near as smooth as Talon.

Well, there is a perfectly good plot of land that's already cleared near Talon. Maybe we'll see something there next season.

I do NOT want it at Dorney Park. The fewer stand-up coasters there are in the world, the better off the world is.

What I want to know is if any rides will be open.

You don't have to go anywhere. They will scan your voucher at the gate and give you a card right then. Go to the table that's set-up just inside the gates and sign the card and you're all set.

In my humble opinion, you shouldn't have to ride coasters "defensively". You should be able to just get on, relax, and enjoy the ride.
