  1. Just found this: http://pixelcaster.com/live/kingsisland/ It's not on GA's website yet but it's neat that you can see it now.
  2. Hmmm So you say they've been adding them two at a time.
  3. The lift hill to nowhere on Adventure Express is a personal favorite.
  4. Cannibal is now open, per lagoonisfun and several twitter posts.
  5. Roller Coaster (1921) at Lagoon. Still a great ride too.
  6. Depends on the ride for Fast Lane. Look for the signs for the entrance. A lot of the bigger coasters, you just get to cut to near the front of the line, while others it's an entirely separate line until you get to the station. Look for this sign: There's one at every ride that supports it.
  7. The removal wasn't confirmed, he never said it was being taken apart piece by piece.m He did state Mantis was leaving their lineup forever though. Yes. Mantis is leaving their lineup forever. Mantis is. Mantis. The roller coaster you know as "Mantis" will no longer operate at Cedar Point after October 19th.
  8. Yeah. Diamondback being so high pleases me. Banshee also apparently got second place for Best New Ride. I also think Beast totally deserved that spot on the wood coaster list. I don't know what the deal is, but it's been very fast, forceful, and a great ride this year. I don't think it won the vote on reputation alone.
  9. Technically, you could say the closure of Mantis is a 2014 announcement.
  10. I do think the more days that go by without CP telling us what's going on with Mantis, the chances are of it being totally dismantled.
  11. No. The main cam is a wide shot of the entrance though, and vehicles are being driven all over. Entertaining, in a way.
  12. More from http://www.kutv.com/news/top-stories/stories/vid_13547.shtml "The ride will be in the North field of Lagoon and will be the tallest attraction in the park at 208 ft. The attraction will be custom built, and primarily developed and manufactured locally. Over 75% of vendors, contractor and suppliers are based in Utah. The ride is named 'Cannibal.' "We have named it Cannibal because in our collective mind it will eat other roller coasters in their tracks," said Julie Freed, spokesperson for Lagoon. It will include the 208 ft. tower which riders will go up then take a steep drop, an underground tunnel, three inversions, and 70 mph maximum speeds."
  13. Camera pointed at Mantis now. Cool.
  14. Don't know if I'd put stock into that. KI apparently had no plans to convert Flight Deck until they did the tease and it got a great response.
  15. At least "The Bat" dodged that bullet. That leaves Cedar Fair with two "Flight Deck" coasters left, so my wild guess is that Cedar Fair renames one of the "Flight Deck" coasters to "Mantis" and Cedar Point converts the coaster formerly known as "Mantis" to something else as a floorless coaster! Mantis becomes Flight Deck. Your head explodes.
  16. At least "The Bat" dodged that bullet.
  17. So is Kings Island just not doing.... anything for 2015?
  18. Oh god no. Not only is Stinger a bad ride, but it's very unreliable and has stranded guests long enough to make the news on more than one occasion. It's been closed basically all season. Laser was reliable, smooth and fun. Eh, too bad then. I've ridden Fire Dragon at Lagoon and I thought it would have been interesting to compare the two.
  19. I would actually be excited about visiting Dorney if they hadn't got rid of Laser. Was the replacement worth it?
  20. "In this case, it is." could also be a conversion hint, because it's easy to say goodbye when you're not actually saying goodbye.
