^Looks awesome. Seems like it'll be an awesome coaster/dark ride/FPS game ... Still wondering what the secret element may be. -
Best Drop Ride!!!
leviathandude306 replied to coaster_shorty's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Have to say the most intense drop tower I've done is drop zone (tower) at Canada's Wonderland. Good strong floater air, and you feel like you just barely have room to stop... Good ol' Intamin & their intensity. The ride also gives an amazing view of Leviathan from the top. It's the only ride in that park that still scares me. .. Butnot enough to keep me off it! As for fav/just plain fun, I'd have to say Space Shot (S&S Tower) at the Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Not quite as intense as some of the S&S double shot towers, but still provides just the right mix of floater and wjector air, coupled with a great launch. Add in an awesome view of a massive rocket that dwarfs the tower, and the fact there's never a line, and you've got yourselves one hell of a ride! PS: What's the big deal about TOT?... Great intensity?... Theming?... Both?? -
S&S Double Sot Vs. Space Shot?

^Agree.. The double shots are far better... Many space shots I've ride are quite force less. -

Not sure if this makes a difference, but from what I've seen of other Triotech darkrides, the car stops furring the IDR scenes. -

Well, judging by the picture, if they just replaced the word "Rollercoaster" with SLC, I'd consider reading it. -

...If you are counting down the days till the ghetto-sketchy-@$$ carnival comes to your town, simply because you don't have coasters nearby & want an early start to the season. ...If you recognize that half the footage in a park commercial isn't actually from that park. -

First of all, why would there be only seat belts on the split row rifrs? Second, have a feeling the seat belts will really hurt capacity... Remember that Nitro did this a few years ago, and it was taken out pretty quick. -

^Well, maybe I can try to at least shift the speculation to a different topic. According to users on CWMania, the supports that showed up for the waterslide may not be waterskide supports at all. Some pics show them arranged in a truss/triangle formation (something not seen on waterslides). There is also a large ammount of dirt being moved around near Minebuster Like a few of the users on CWMania, I believe this is for something bigger for 2015 or 16, , like some kind of coaster or flat. Increasing the sense that something's up, I would post pics from CW mania on this thread to show what's going on, but I can't, as the site's been down pretty much since the rumours of a coaster started flying... Strange, my guess, the park did something , due to someone unknowingly leaking their new ride, or more likely, when this started up, the mods knew that Cw would be watching the site closely, as CWmania is planning WMG event, and didn't want the park POed @ them. Either way, something's up... Not just WMG... LET THE 2015 RMOURS BEGIN! -

I'm sure the construction crew can fix this issue, but wondering if it'll affect the rides smoothness? -

Leviathan doesn't have seat belts.....at least for now. I know. Still I thought that everyone would go for the "big ride" especially after noticing the queue was smaller than behemoth's. Well, with cw being my home park, I can say that Behemoth is still a very well recieved attraction, even with Leviathan being built. Some people I know who haven't been there in a fee years actually didn't know leviathan was built, but definitely knew about behemoth. -

Unnamed Mighty Canadian Minebuster RMC: Height: 95 Feet Speed: Over 57 MPH Inversions: 2 The turn after the lift hill is now part of the drop Airtime hill after the waterslide on the "out" run is turned into a barrel roll Turnaround is turned into overbank hill over the walkway to the pink/purple slide is turned into a Zero-G stall Helix at the end has much steeper banking than it currently has, with 90-degree banking in the tunnel Next up: Either Great White from Morey's Piers or Mean Streak. Cwis my home park, and I've been wishing they'd do this ever since NTAG. My guess is that CF will eventually do it, as they've been spoiling us rotten over the last few seasons, and the chain will eventually need to catch up to SF and their RMC new hotness. If a Minebuster remake isn't Canada's first RMC, I'd inagine La Ronde would get it. They're an SF park, and Monster (their piece o s*** woodie) will eventually break and die sometime lol. -

Ya, really pumped for this ride.. Seems like a slly dark ride plus a wild mous... It'll b great to take friends and family on who aren't quite ready for the big B&Ms. As for the leviathan/behemoth seatbelt situation, are the belts on behemoth? Also, why are they even putting belts on the ride?... I can understand because of NTAG, but even then, B&M has an excilent safety record. Doesn't quite make sense. -

^Hope they keep the B&Ms the same... Hoping it's a US thing, and not a chain wide thing. As for WMG, I'm so pumped for this!... Provably not the best dark ride or coaster, but hopefully an awesome combo of both. Overall, it should combine my two loves... Coasters and gaming. -

There was a big pile of dirt in Splashworks close to where the speed slides used to be. I'll try to get a picture up shortly. Sounds great. Hoping if there's a splash works renovation, we get an aqualoop, or some other form of drop slide to go with the proslide tantrums. -
Aqualoop
leviathandude306 replied to ultradude306's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Have only tried the aqualoop, but found the drop to be very intense, unlike some people here... I can only imagine how crazy the sooperloop is, if the drop is in fact steeper. WIth that being said, 2If anyone on here who likes slides hasn't tried any of the drop slides mentioned in this thread, the drop pod makes the sense of free fall so much more intense than a normal free fall slide. For sure the drop pod slides, and the multi hump slides that give airtime are my favorites, at least for body slides.
