  1. ^you're making a lot of good points there, you could be right. I'll stick to it being a sitdown but you could be right. But launching on your back would be very uncomfortable at high speed, it hasnt been done before right?
  2. Well of course, a worlds first is a very marketable thing. But any new coaster is very marketable and this one certainly will be. If it was to be a Launched flyer then id expect changes to the train, loading layed down would be uncomfortable in the launch and while loading.
  3. ^A Launched sitdown isnt new then? Both types would be very thrilling and new.
  4. Really? So they cant market a world class, thrilling launch coaster? Holiday World will be aiming at us enthusiasts as well as the general public. The general public wont care if the ride is a first or not. As long a the coaster is great, they'll love it and holiday world can easily market both types you've mentioned. I'll have my final prediction as a sitdown, terrain lunch coaster. I think it'll be B&M, so I hope it's intense.
  5. i'll have my final prediction as a sitdown, terrain launch coaster. Oh and i think it'll certainly be B&M, so i hope it's intense.
  6. Those large footers usually mean that there will be multiple supports on that footer. Or they come with height because they have to take more weight. So the area that we see on the webcam may hold quite a few supports in an area that seems tightly packed.
  7. ^According to that helix was manufactured by Gerstlaurer, which we all know it wasn't. Everything here is still pointing towards a B&M terrain launch coaster.
  8. Went to Alton today, not too many people there because of terrible rain, and therefore we got a lot more rides. I managed to get 5 rides on The Smiler, Air and Nemesis. 3 on Thirteen and Oblivion. 2 on Rita. And one on Sonic Spinball and Sub Terra. My thoughts on The Smiler is that it's a great coaster, just seems to get VERY rough on the final three inversions and the queue line is like a pond. I felt that Nemesis was extremely intense, and got even more so with every ride. A lot more intense than any other rides i'v had on it before. Air was a good ride, not sure how it compares to any other flyer but it was pretty tame. Rita and Oblivion we're both intense quality coasters and ran well in the rain. Thirteen was certainly a family coaster as there wasn't really any thrill to it aside from the indoor drop which i found okay. I really liked Sonic for some reason, i guess spinning coasters are good? In regards to Sub Terra, it was terrible. It took a long time for the crew and actors to get through the Pre-show and then apart from the theme there wasn't really anything to the drop itself. But overall the day was very good and we was happy with the ride count.
  9. That doesn't leave the red track for Carowinds because no one said that the teal was for holiday world? It's most likely a launch, not a flyer or invert. Meaning that the red track could be for Holiday World or Efteling's dive machine. I don't think that any track for the Carowinds giga is outside for shipping yet, giga track stands out as different and noticeable.
  10. ^If you look at recent pictures of that track you'll see that the rail ties are curved. Only inverts and flyers have those curved rail ties.
  11. Really happy with where Zamperla are going with their coasters. Aside from the spiral lift, this looks really good!
  12. ^ Again, i wouldn't expect this to be a launched flyer. If it is a launch, i'd expect it to have sit down or winged trains.
  13. I think that those footers are simply too close together for any sort of flyer or invert.
  14. ^That track is of an invert/flyer so i wouldn't think it's for this project, nothing seems to hint towards any of those types. However, with the color in the photo it might be. Although, again, i wouldn't think the color in the picture is hinting towards the color of the coaster.
  15. The red track doesn't seem to match up with any new type anymore, as the different rail ties aren't consistent on all the pieces. Still could be for this project though.
  16. ^From the pictures over at Carowinds Connection? If so, then they're not black pieces, just unpainted ones.
  17. Nothing really points towards a dive machine, the project was mostly pointing towards a launch coaster before we began speculating that it may be a B&M. The area it covers seems large, and seems to stay with the terrain. Although, we can only see a certain amount of footers right now.
  18. Yeah, i mean a sitdown. I wouldn't think they'd brand the coaster type as a sitdown with a launch. I'd expect them to brand it as a launch coaster. It's certainly possible that new trains could be involved here if it is indeed a new model.
  19. The Centurion name seems to really fit with what they're teasing.
  20. Probably not, i'd expect them to build a general launch coaster before adding an option for a launch on their other models.
  21. The park is themed fantastically, i really like it. And the 10 inversion coaster looks really good.
  22. This certainly won't be a family invert, the area it's covering is a lot bigger than what it would take up. Still looking like a launch coaster.
  23. The footers that the webcam is looking at, are certainly in a line. The ones in the background are slightly more elevated, slight drop into the launch maybe? What's also strange is the footers to the left, they seem to curve right into what may well be the launch.
  24. ^ It was yeah, not sure why they just went with the existing version.
  25. ^And one isn't even confirmed to be a B&M right? I suspect the giga track is still being manufactured, and therefor isn't seen outside yet.
