Well i certainly wasn't expecting that, it's just made this project a whole lot more interesting!

The newest teaser posted on KI Instagram today comes with the hashtag #KIProject2017, i believe this is the first time it's been used and directly linked to the falling trees teasers. This means we can certainly rule out the clearing and teasing being for a 2018 project as some have said might be possible.

^You're right, The Joker certainly wasn't delayed and neither was Storm Chaser. Only Lightning Rod has been, although still not quite sure about Wildfire being open by the 18th as they're saying, hope so though.

I've just remembered that the park was listed as receiving a major investment in 2017, so has anyone heard any rumors or anything yet or seen any clearing?

From their Facebook page it seems like the Whirlwind Coaster is open, doesn't look like they've said anything about Galeforce or Wild Waves Coaster though.

^^Yeah but it doesn't matter whether they just got a new coaster or not, Cedar Fair obviously feel like adding another coaster to Kings Island rather than say Kings Dominion will have a larger impact on attendance and overall revenue. If Cedar Fair know that it'll have both those impacts then it has to be a good investment. It's not about whether a park needs a coaster or not.

This isn't even slightly true, with the teasing and all the clearing, it's most likely that they are going to be getting a coaster next year regardless of how many years ago Banshee was added

My guess would be either wing rider or a hyper from looking at that track

Thanks for those pictures, i do get the impression that there's still a good amount of work to do here though despite the ride being almost complete. I imagine that it's mostly theming to do though. Looking really good regardless, i really like how it interacts with its surroundings really well.

That's certainly a rather large amount of markers for it not to be anything, however, i'm not convinced with the stake that say's RMC on it as it could just be there to tease us.

Thanks for posting the pictures, The Joker looks really good and i'm certainly glad that they went for this theme rather than Total Mayhem. One other little thing that i quite like is the details on the side of each car, really nice little touch.

Love how much Riddlers Revenge stands out in the night pictures!

That's probably the best looking RMC train so far in my opinion, absolutely incredible looking!

Yeah, i can't seem to see that banner on their website or anything. It still says that it's in Technical Rehearsal at the top.

^Absolutely wonderful pictures there, thanks for posting your review. Although i think that some of it doesn't look as good as the original concept art it's a really good expansion regardless that a lot of people are going to enjoy.

^I'd say it's legit, on the previous page it was mentioned it could have been re themed after what the park posted on instagram. It is a closeup of one of the gondolas for sure, the writing matches.

The clearing that they're doing is certainly looking ever more likely like clearing for a wooden coaster as others have said, the channels they've already cleared are just way too thin for a steel coaster
