There is no shame in loving Skull Mountain. Easily the most underrated coaster in the park.

^ LOL I think most locals would happily give up: Dark Knight Green Lantern Ultimate Flight Road Runner Railway in exchange for New Texas Giant. But doesn't seem like a fair trade for Texas imo, and no you cannot have Skull Mountain.

Sweet, I'm even more excited to visit this park next spring.

Forgive me as I'm not too familiar with these rides, but is this basically a clone of MaXair? If so thats awesome cause that ride was a pleasant surprise and kicked ass.

If you like airtime they are insanely fun. I don't mind that they are usually upcharge attractions, if they weren't the line would be eight hours long. Dorney only charges $2 for theirs which is not bad at all, considering Morey's used to be an upcharge - I think it was like $5 or $8, now you can use tickets like all the other rides and its now 8 tickets which works out to about $8. I love the ride so much I have no problem paying for it and would willingly pay extra if they ran a longer cycle for me.

I'm surprised so many people don't want a Screaming Swing. In spite of the usual upcharge, these rides are my favorite flat. I'm lucky that Morey's has one that ISN'T an upcharge, but I wish Great Adv had one...

The pop of airtime into the snake roll surprised the hell out of me. Storm Runner is a great ride, can't wait to get back there.

Its much more fun/exciting now that its being dragged out like this without any announcement. A good bit of GP have no clue what's coming, but I enjoy being able to watch it all get pieced together over in this world.

Maybe you are right and I just happen to notice it more when I'm @ the park.

Not to go off topic but I didnt mention this in my brief report from this weekend. Does it amaze anyone else how many people will wear a Batman/Superman T-shirt when going to the park? I'm not talking about a Six Flags shirt, I just mean a simple t-shirt with the logo on it. I must have seen at least 15 people in the two hours on Sunday. And its not the first time. Are all the other SF parks like this? LOL

I wonder if it has anything to do with the girl falling out of the Giant Wheel a couple years ago. They used to allow single riders on that, but since the incident they don't.

Strange. Why wouldn't they just put you in a boat with a couple of other riders?

^ I am interested to see if how this Roar West iron horsing will affect SFA and Roar East down the line. Would SF/RMC use the opportunity to give Roar East a completely different layout? Or the exact same layout (doesnt seem likely knowing RMC)? Or will Six Flags continue to ignore SFA and not do anything to Roar including not giving Roar East SFDK's Millennium Flyer trains lol? If they even think of touching Wild One I will go down there and flip the entire park over.

Other than a few more local/regional visits my major trips for the year are done, I'm starting to plan for 2016 already, but we may actually do that one Sunday toward the end of the season, Sept/Oct. I am much more determined to get back to Hershey ASAP/before the end of the season, and I want to do Haunt @ Dorney this year, but I'd also like to head down to SFA for a half day and hit Wild One, ROS, and Jokers Jinx a bunch. We'll see what happens, I'm sure I'll post if we're going.
