  1. I know that a simulation based of the blueprints has already been posted on here, but I literally spent the last week and a half working on my version of the leaked blueprints coaster, so I will share it anyways: Enjoy!
  2. ^^^That makes more sense! I don't know why my mind was drawn to the cake pops mention.
  3. Did anyone read Holiday World's newest blog post yet? It has a clue in it about cake pops apparently. What is anyone's thoughts on this (helps if you read the post - sort of confusing) Here it is: http://www.holidayworld.com/holiblog/2014/07/14/happy-bastille-day/
  4. ^I think that would definitely be a hint. They literally mentioned a reference to a loop like three times (2 from the T-Minus 12 Days blog post & 1 from the tweet), so I think it has to mean something.
  5. I was going to go to guest services (I had his name), but it was getting close to the time you had to pick up the wristbands for the ERT event, so I decided not. I completely agree that it's unacceptable. They should train them by tell them what not say when operating a ride - Joking about ride deaths would be on the top of that list. I could never imagine this type of thing happening at a Cedar Fair park.
  6. Went to the park yesterday, for the Goliath passholder ERT event. The line was very short for the event - I'm talking like 15 minutes! So, I ended up getting about five rides on it which was great! I think my favorite row has to be the back because of the whip throughout the coaster's elements. Goliath is definitely a solid coaster that deserves a spot in anyone's top ten list. On a side note, the ride operators were very immature , annoying , and unprofessional. The Raging Bull crew really stood out to me as the worst. The operator working the mic was singing "Elmo's world" for quite some time, which was really annoying. However, that wasn't the worst. To quote him: "Okay guys let's play a game. How many people have died on the Raging bull?" That just really stood out to me as a big no no because you should never joke about ride safety when you are an operator.
  7. Do you mean they would look something like Canobie's Untamed supports? If so, that would be pretty cool.
  8. I have a question not related to a coaster itself, but more of filming it for a video. I want to know if there is a way to film a coaster like many of the videos on youtube. The coaster is my take of the leaked blueprints of Carowind's new coaster, so I would like to put the video up soon. Thanks in advance!
  9. Wow! I did not expect this to be completely live - way better that Goliath's or Banshee's construction cam! ^^I think that is a good conclusion to draw from the footers - it's has very Verbolten like start if that is correct. *EDIT* Just realized you can "control" the splashcam to rotate to your attraction of choice! All you have to do is wait in the virtual line (about a minute or two), and then the cam rotates to you selected attraction some of the choices are Voyage, Jungle Racer, Wildebeest/Mammoth, and more.
  10. Why can't it be the best steel coaster ever? Kolmarden is building their very first wood coaster and they claim it will be the best thing ever. I'm just excited to get back there soon, it will be great no matter if its the best ever or just a solid ride. For some people, if it's not Intimidator 305, it can't be a 5-star coaster. Even though there IS much more to a coaster than intensity. Expedition Everest, Gemini, Wild Eagle, Veil of Dark etc. To add a few more to that list, Cheetah Hunt, Lightning Racer, and Full Throttle (more fun that intense), and those are all in my top twenty! A coaster definitely does not have to be intense to be good.
  11. A bit off topic, but according to screamscape, attendance for Kentucky Kingdom is "through the roof". I'm glad to hear this, after Ed spent so much time restoring, so this is his well deserved reward. Could this mean they have more money for attractions in the future years?
  12. Well that is certainly a good sign. The start of August is only about 20 days away, so it won't be long before we see the first riders going up, and for the reviews to come in!
  13. ^Oh, that would suck. Nitro is a beautiful coaster, when looking at the hammerhead and nearby airtime hills from the lift. I also hope this is a coincidence. How could they expect to cut down every tree nearby a coaster's tracks? That seems unlikely that a park would be doing that - "inspecting" the trees (make sure they are healthy!) would seem to be the batter option, so I think we should be just alright with the natural scenery staying - hopefully.
  14. ^Maybe, but after 66 days of waiting, you want the actual announcement, instead of "stay tuned". What I am trying to say is that they could receive some negative feedback from everyone if they go too long with it, and never give us the real cold hard facts.
  15. Day 50 "The cries for help alarmed us all. I do not know how to describe the tremendous sound every last one of us heard that night. The storm alone is thunderous, but this sound came from inside the ship." Now I really think they are dropping a hint to the B&M roar.
  16. ^That would totally work for the park! I still get the feel that Kentucky Kingdom wants to be more of a family park, and Full Thrott1e I feel is more fun than intense and scary.
  17. ^^I think that all of the clues are going to mentioned on the website, not here.
  18. ^^That would really be cool. Hangtime at 456 feet would be totally insane!
  19. When have we ever gotten any confirmation that this was a B&M? I guess I used the wrong word. I really meant that this is further proof that we have a B&M.
  20. Thanks for sharing! I'm excited that we have further confirmation of a B&M! Now what is the layout going to be . . .
  21. All of these ideas are sounding very cool! Good new is that all will be revealed in 23 days, and we are almost two thirds through the campaign!
  22. ^I'm sure they could come up with some other restraint that would work for a Giga or Mega coaster. (Bizarro is a good example - same restraints as El Toro, so we know they would work).
  23. They always get every coaster of theirs to be fun and thrilling no matter what circumstances. I really have no doubt that the restored twisted twins will be great . . . that is if they do get the Iron Horse treatment. I has not n=been completely confirmed by the park. We can't get ahead of ourselves . . .
  24. It would be interesting to see what they do with a smaller layout. Although, it isn't that small if they were to combine the two tracks together and make one coaster. I think New England's Cyclone is the real question of this if the rumors are true that is will get the Iron Horse treatment.
