  1. I'm also hoping for an intamin for this project. I'm sort of deprived of Intamins, as the U.S. hasn't gotten one since 2012. I don't really think I need to see every coaster be a B&M. Don't get me wrong, though - I still love B&M's, but I just like a little variety in new coasters.
  2. ^^Part of the fun is the force! If you have a coaster that doesn't give you any negative or positive G's then it really is boring. Think of Expedition Geforce (MAXIMUM airtime), and Nemesis (Positive G). Those coasters wouldn't be rated nearly as high if they weren't forceful.
  3. To be forceful or not to be, that is the question.
  4. Just one more thanks to Paula for this amazing campaign. You've done a great job!
  5. ^Yep. Now it's up to 550. Good thing they made sure the servers wouldn't fail!
  6. Thirty minutes until the ceremonies start!
  7. Right now it's closer to 66 minutes until the actual announcement, so we will see what seems longer. Days or minutes?
  8. That makes more practical sense. I just thought the green would look cool as it matched the trees that the track would weave through.
  9. I think the color scheme will be blue track with some evergreen looking shade for the supports.
  10. We rode in the second to last row of the blue train. The rattle was very noticeable. Interesting. It's usually pretty smooth there. I don't know what was going on.
  11. ^In my opinion it would seem fun. Gimmicks aren't necessarily always bad. If you don't like the concept, that's fine, because you don't have to. Did anyone notice that the live stream is now not up (back to the 66 Days at Sea site), or is it just me?
  12. I was just throwing the sideways launch idea out there. It sounds like you don't want a launch (gimmicky or not) in your last sentence, but based on the footers, I would be shocked if it wasn't a launch, but that still means they can do other stuff with the layout. 22 million is a lot to work with! It's not just going to be one big launch and then a brake run.
  13. ^^Where did you sit? I normally go near the back of the train and notice no rattle at all. Maybe bull has a bad train just like Nitro's "C" train?
  14. Thank god! Alright. I'm gonna throw in my final guesses. I have two. 1) Zerogravity's prediction of the backwards launched flyer. I really think that would be an interesting experience, and I don't think B&M has maxed out their full potential with the flyer concept, so this could be the one to do that. That blue track in Clearmont, OH could be going to Holiday world. 2) Launched wingrider. I know what you are thinking - that can't possibly work, because of that house to the right of the launch. Well, if they were to do something special (flip the launch on itself at a 90 degree angle so the track is facing the Voyage), it would work. Definetely the first of its kind. I don't know if the physics would work with that concept, but it would certainly be cool to be laying on your side and being launched. Also, inversions in the woods area, and a dark section like Verbolten, and a splashdown water effect. I'm pulling for the flyer, but whatever this is, I'm sure it will be great! Only a few more hours until all is revealed!
  15. Also, if someone sees something, please don't post it on this thread before it is announced. That would blow all of the anticipation and Holiday World's hard work, so please don't do it.
  16. Some people really have no clue what they are talking about! They weren't even close. If they pointed to viper it might be understandable, but Superman? Wow.
  17. So I just had this wild thought. The line of footers are too close to the station building to be a NORMAL wingrider launch, so what if it was a sideways launch (rides at 90 degree angle) That would be interesting for sure!
  18. That is logical. Lots of people want to see what this is first hand!
  19. As we near the end of this campaign, I would just like to thank every one who was involved, especially Paula, for the hints and teasing that created the best lead up to an attraction announcement I have ever witnessed. I honestly have no idea what it is going to be, so great job keeping it a secret - there's nothing more disappointing than a leaked announcement! Thanks again for this amazing campaign! I cant wait to find out what this will be. It's going to be the longest day ever.
  20. Nice Picture. Which angle did you get that picture from?
  21. How would this make a park more crowded? It would just boost profit and guest happiness. If I'm an owner of a theme park, I can't bring in more people by saying that I built a hotel. But, for tourists who have to travel to come to my park, they will be happy because they can stay longer. So it's not gonna bring more people in, but it will help them be able to come maybe more often land stay longer. With all the extra profit, the park will be able to do major overhauls to the areas that need work. Besides Six Flags has done hotels before at Great Escape and Darien Lake (while it was still owned by 6f). If they stay longer and come more often, wouldn't that result in the park being busier? I'm not saying the hotel would be bad, but it would sure bring more people in wit that logic.
  22. Wow! I really need to attend this if they are doing one next year! Seem like a lot of fun, and Cedar Point made it even more entertaining with that "spooky scene".
  23. New clue posted! "My hands tremble as I write. The crew whispers that we are hundreds of miles off course. Will we ever see the New World?"
  24. That's a pretty big site from the view of that picture - didn't realize how big it was before. if it uses the whole thing, it's going to for sure be one big thing!
