Where was lighting runs track made??

I thought that barrel roll was already planed to be a zero g roll. Correct me if I am wrong. I agree on the forceless factor but do insist that it will be fun.

That is one of the coolest family coasters I have ever seen! I love the idea of the screaming! It is true that you have to scream?

Oh, wow. You've ridden it already? Not trying to be rude, but shouldn't we stop trying to judge a ride before it even opens? So I guess I should've just watched the vid and shut my mouth like a good boy huh? No that video have us an idea what the ride will be like, how ever there are some factors to place into your mind before we assume the ride will be forceless. The camera used, the distance the ride is from camera, the true size of the ride. We don't have an specifics and this can obscure our perception of the ride. I think we can tell more once the pov comes out.

Wow this looks amazing! I would love to ride this! The scaractor is an awesome idea for envelope the patrons into the experience as they wait. It is almost a ride while waiting for a ride. Love it!

Last Year I went to Cedar Point Opening day - 10 hours, by myself This year I am going to Kings Island - 9 1/2 hours by myself Funny this was brought up because I've been thinking about doing a trip down to FL by myself sometime this year. Do it!!!! It will be worth it! Being a single rider can be a blast!!

Ok, so don't know if anyone has had STEEL RESERVE. I was watch a YouTube video of a wine expert was tasting very cheap beers. Long story short she ranked this one her favorite out of the 6/7 she tried. I finally found it, it was $1.19 for the 24oz can. It was very good for that cheap of beer. That was the last beer I drank. I am usually not a cheap beer drinker, love my imports and micro brews, but had to go out of my way to try.

What if we are thinking about this all wrong. Most keep looking at this as new coaster of an existing design, but what if it is a totally new design that we have not thought of? However I will state that I would love to see a freespin. It would be pretty cool, but would that "put it on the map?" -sorry for double post, still working around this app on my iPhone.

Millennium Force. Hey. I never said it DOESN'T happen, but how often DOES it happen? That is true. Sitting here an think about the "record breakers" there are few that have been a must to ride after it has opened. Also not many record breakers have been a game changer.

Well according to their Facebook page they claim that the mobile version and the PC version will be different. The PC version will have more features. "We hear everyone’s comments on the new RollerCoaster Tycoon game and want to let you all know that the mobile game and PC experience will be 2 completely different games. Both games will release this year. The mobile game will include social features (sharing with friends, leaderboards) and the PC experience will have even more features and functionality. We are excited to bring these games to you soon!" Some hope, but I will not be expecting much until screenshots.

Ok, this is nuts! For a park to already create this much hype this far out!! Crazy! Can't wait! Joining this speculation late, but it has been a thrilling reading!!

That is why I loved RCT series! This is an extreme disappointment. I would rather have RCT 1 on mobile then this bs. In this age of mobile technology you can't have horrible graphics unless it was made to be that way, RCT is not met to be that way!

I think it is possible, but the cost would be too high, because now you must staff for two train operation even if the park only has enough guests to justify 1 train. That is the only reason I don't see it happening, but it would be cool. According to my lead when I worked/ my sup, it is not possible. They would have to have two set of LIM motors, that is what they told me. I think it has to do something with the cars and how the computer reads them. They were explains to me that they had to switch the LIMs to be able to work for a backward launch. Moving the LIMs would have no effect on the launch, the force generated by the LIMs is controlled by the PLC, the PLC is programmed to have the LIMs alternate between pulling and pushing on the aluminum fins on the side of the train. Flipping the train would have no effect on the system other than speed calculation and determining the location of the train. The proximity switches were installed on the ride to detect a forward facing train and calculate the launch speed as the train heads down the tunnel. Most likely during the conversion to Reverse Blast the PLC was reprogrammed by the manufacture to accommodate the changes (as it would be far easier to have the PLC reprogrammed than move all the proximity switches on the ride). It would require a lot more complex programming as the ride would need to be able to determine which train was launching but it would be possible. The brake fins had to be relocated for the reverse blast conversion, it would require them to undo the changes to one train. Ok that makes sense. Thanks for sharing. The break fins could pose a problem. But maybe the reason being is simple a finical problem. Having to have a full crew all of the time. Or it could be that there would always be an argument which one they should have open.

Did you work at SFSTL summer 2012?? My first season was 2013 and I was at American Thunder/ Moon Cars or Batman/ Turbo Bungy depending on the day. Lame... Mr. Freeze all the way! I worked freeze summer 2012. It was a blast. (No pun intended) AT wasn't bad, Batman was fun to work depending on who you were working with. I actually requested to work at Mr.Freeze this year, but they decided I would be better at Boss. Boss is still awesome. I had a friend who was lead there last summer! She loved it, hated walking to the MCBR to test. Have fun at boss this year, are you working there full season, or summer only?? Well, just found out today that I have been moved to Mr. Freeze Ok now I am super jealous! That ride is awesome!! Plus - when I worked it- the crew was awesome! We never opened on time bc we wanted to keep riding, so we did more "test runs!" Also there was this one time were we were killing it. The hourly capacity is 950, and we beat that with 956!! We rocked!
