I realize that I might be in the minority here, but what would you think about a Great Bear style pre-drop? Also, with the positive reception with KI's Banshee, I think our invert (when we get it) will be on the more intense side. -

^Power Tower has been tamed a lot since its opening. It ran much more thrilling cycles when it first opened, especially on the Turbo Drop. -

The things that bothers me about the alleged Cedar Point dive coaster: 1. The price tag--16 million for a 220 ft tall, 3000+ track length 2. What would the CP general public think of it. It adds nothing new to the lineup. Dragster has a 90 degree drop, Maverick has a 95 degree drop, Gatekeeper has seats not directly above or below the track, and depending on what train configuration they go with; Rougarou has floorless trains. 3. Why add a dive coaster now when Mean Streak is in need of greater immediate attention? 4. The thing that CP lacks the most is a modern wooden coaster. -

The Cedar Point reports say that the B&M Dive Machine is ONE of the options on the table for 2016. It could very well be an RMC re-tracking of Mean Streak. And I question what a dive machine could do for the park. I've seen that spot better for a GCI wooden coaster anyways. Now, let's get back on track to Valleyfair. -

I may not have been to the park a whole lot recently (including Haunt once back in '09), but don't they do this during Haunt along with (sometimes) the first hour or two of every other operation day for a similar purpose? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. -

Spitballing off of this, I have often dreamed of a coaster that uses TC's trough and waterfalls as themeing elements. While I am aware that the whole flooding issue makes this a moot point, it could be fun to dream. -

What will happen first: Vertical construction here, or BGW officially announcing that Premier launcher? -

The ride premiered at the State Fair. -
This might just be one man's opinion, but the park seems to need a family wooden coaster (preferably GCI) more than it needed Batman. With Iron Rattler, Superman, Poltergeist, Boomerang, and (not-so Goliath) Goliath; the park seems to be more focused on thrill coasters. There isn't really an in-between them and Pandemonium and Road Runner Express. And currently no wooden coaster existing at the park with Rattler's transformation.

^Though what's more likely to arrive first: new/more/better tube slides or mat slides? I'd love to see a Krakken Racer. -
With the capacity it has, it won't be upcharge. And I agree with your joy that the park is adding more adult flat rides. Hopefully they begin focusing more on the park and keeping all rides from needing major rehab. Would an Intamin or Chance/Morgan Mega-lite be more likely for this park? The Intamin version needs to make American appearances.

Couple things: 1. Google maps over Valleyfair has been updated to show around Haunt 2014 2. Does anyone else think that Ripcord might be relocated/removed in the next few years to expand Route 76? 3. Does the lake/pond that Corkscrew goes over have an official name? 4. Does anyone else think that Riptide should remove the water element? I've noticed that most complaints surrounding it have to do with the water. I've ridden SFGAm's top spin and I would rather have one without water than with it. 5. When will something happen with the amphitheater? Either torn down or refurbished? -

Bummer. -
I remember when I was here back in 2002 vs earlier this year; FITH's splash was more intense this year. I only got a mild soaking back then, but this year I got completely drenched. Has there been an increase in water volume? That could explain some of the wear and tear. But then again, what do I know?
