  1. ^Going off that idea, it could be another exit in case of emergencies with all the increased traffic in the area. I don't think that it will be a full entrance due to how small that corner still is. Maybe it's a future entrance after the next phase is complete and Mad Mouse is relocated? I'm holding to the idea that Mad Mouse will be relocated to the amphitheater spot as part of Route 76 as a throw-back to Wild Rails.
  2. ^I get a feeling that our next big attraction will be either of those (after the B&M invert and Soak City phase 2 of course).
  3. When Corkscrew eventually leaves, I think that RipTide will be taken with it and the entrance to the new coaster will be in RipTide's old spot. Also, for a little bit of hope, I was looking at previous B&M invert installations--specifically the price tags. Carowind's Afterburn cost about $11 million, which in today's economy is about $17 million. Do I think that we'll be getting a $17 million coaster? No. I'm hoping for a $15 million one. In other news, where could a Zamperla AirRace go? With Carowinds essentially naming Fury 325 after the newly revamped Charlotte Hornets, Here's a couple suggestions for a Minnesota sports-themed coaster: Timberwolves: Howler Twins: ???? Vikings: Pillager Wild/Lynx: Predator
  4. ^Like some people claiming that Fury 325 is the tallest coaster in the world?
  5. Just a thought here, but when we get our B&M invert, I'm thinking it should have an immelman, vertical loop around the lift 1-2 punch that Banshee has. But only if it has at least 5 inversions. Can't have a 3 or 4-inverter with 2 of them immediately for pacing reasons.
  6. ^Garyman, I've been on several Disk'os, but never a Disk'o Coaster. But the latter's bound to be more fun right?
  7. 13 million is 2001, prly 15-16 Million in today's money[/quo Patriot was only about 12 million i think, and that was build in 2005-2006 off season. And patriot is slightly longer. Wonder why Talon was 1 million more? I think Patriot was 14 million Talon was filled with sand. Maybe that added on to it.
  8. The cars are already at Valleyfair. I saw them about a week ago when I had an interview.
  9. Poor OzCat. I got to ride it back in '04. Very fun and a little underrated.
  10. And let's not forget that floorless coasters put you that much closer to the track! At least it feels that way, okay! And then, there's Silver Dollar City's Wildfire. Look how much higher WF's trains ride. It's not sure whether to be a floorless or sitdown.
  11. Had a Job interview at the park today for a ride operator. The old sign's still up out front. Not sure if this means anything or not, but there was a lone, unattended bulldozer between the main entrance and the employee housing.
  12. Here's a stupid idea: a custom Vekoma Stingray-type flyer.
  13. While we've been talking about the possibility of relocating Mad Mouse to make way for future Soak City expansion, how about moving it to the apitheater's spot and have it be part of Route 76 as a throwback to (Wild) Rails as MM is essentially a next-gen version of that ride and a better fit in R76 than Northern Lights.
  14. Of course we'd all rather have one of them, but when's the last time you visited the MoA? Our floor to ceiling differential is around 70 feet, Rides are intertwining everywhere, and more and more restaurants are being added that subtract space. Neither option is feasible and we'll just have to stick with positive forces.
  15. Here's a great name for you to ponder: Primal: Scream of the Jungle.
  16. If the wave is replaced with a splashdown effect, I think that the bridge should remain in some way for guests to get splashed.
  17. While we're on the subject of S&S rides, and we've been talking on and off about new Wild Thing trains, how about them new S&S trains like Titan is getting?
  18. And with the sheer height of the tower, the coaster could easily be one of the longest in the world.
  19. As long as when Excalibur does get replaced, they theme it in a similar way as when Dorney replaced Hercules with Hydra.
  20. I realize that I might be in the minority here, but what would you think about a Great Bear style pre-drop? Also, with the positive reception with KI's Banshee, I think our invert (when we get it) will be on the more intense side.
  21. Carowinds: Fure 325 track is complete. Valleyfair: Vertical Construction has just begun. Busch Gardens Williamsburg: What coaster are you talking about?
  22. ^Power Tower has been tamed a lot since its opening. It ran much more thrilling cycles when it first opened, especially on the Turbo Drop.
  23. All 4 Morgan Hypers, Steels Eel and Dragon are custom. *edited*
