I agree. I think it took them way to long to remove Shoot The Rapids from the website. I mean, they just officially announced that the ride would be removed Saturday at Winter Chill Out.

Somethings in life of wish I could un-see. That video is one of them. I feel bad for the victim and his family. I'll stick with US theme parks.

They might still be finalizing things with it. Just like Kings Island still hasn't published their Fast Lane info for this season yet. Not to uncommon for these things not to be on the sites yet.

^ They have trailblazer passes for just one day use. The pass that allows only 8 rides is $32 (ish) per person, and the pass that allows unlimited rides is $62 (ish) per person (based on last seasons prices.) Also, nice score on the flight!!!

They recently sent out an email and in the email it said their new attractions would "Open later this season." So I'd assume April is probably a little early. Maybe mid to late May, or even early June. (I mean, it is Six Flags after all.)

^ I'd LOVE to see a flying coaster built there! I feel like either a Polercoaster, or a flying coaster would be the best fit. They both provide something the park does not have yet. I just don't see a flying coaster having as much appeal to the GP as a Polercoaster might. I think the Polercoaster has more of a "wow" factor that the park might be looking for. Then again, I could be (and most likely am) wrong... I mean the last two coasters were a wing-coaster and a dive machine, neither of which I would think had that "wow" factor. But obviously they do!

Not going to lie, I had actually mentioned this to my partner last night. We were talking about the STR removal, and what would be a good replacement for it. The first thing that came to mind was a Polorcoaster. The footprint is small enough it might just fit in the old STR location, and they could build one tall enough to reclaim the "Worlds tallest roller coaster" record. Not saying that Cedar Point is going to build one, but I could see one fitting in well in the old STR location, as well as being a good fit for the park.

This has quickly become a "MUST DO" for our trip this summer. This sounds like an awesome experience, and something that my partner would love. Not to mention the views from the top of Valravn will be AMAZING!!

I'm not seeing anyone talk about this. Cedar Point seems to be following in the footsteps of BGW's Griffon backstage tour by offering their own, and that's a VERY cool thing, considering you'll get to climb to the top of Valravn's lift hill! That opens up a whole new opportunity for amazing views and photos! This might be one of the most exciting announcements for this season! I must have missed out on the details of this. All I have seen mentioned about it is: "-New pre-opening backstage tour of Valravn" Which really doesn't provide many details about it. So that's probably why no one is talking about it.

I'm actually a little saddened by the removal of Shoot The Rapids. I was looking forward to our visit this summer to get to ride it again. Oh well. Okay, maybe I am in the minority here, but I really enjoy Skyscraper, and I am sad to hear that it is leaving! As for the go carts?? Eh, Bye Felicia. I couldn't careless that they are leaving. I see nothing wrong with this!
