  1. Yes, you are right, it is in fact a roller coaster, but deep down inside the hearts of coaster enthusiasts everywhere, its a flat ride.
  2. So, does anyone think that Six Flags will decide to add any flat rides to the park? Maybe something to replace twister.
  3. Ummm... nothing except the station. By the way, is it true that zombies will go on Bizarro with you once in a while ?
  4. Well, the truth of the matter is that getting an Intamin will likely bring in some amount of popularity. Also, I think B&M's are extremely predictable. They all have the same style about them. Intamins are far less similar and also, Skyrush is pretty reliable.
  5. By the way, I have noticed that in the past couple of years, Intamin has not opened a new hyper or giga coaster. To me, this upsetting due to the fact that I'm a big time Intamin fan-boy. I am just wondering why this is. They make great coasters that win awards (and not to mention break records). Also, they are generally pretty smooth and offer a fantastic ride.
  6. Also, I just realized the flaw in my comment. Vekoma has a nasty habit of putting the wheel assembly inside the track rather than outside. B&M would have to completely re engineer their trains.
  7. That doesn't mean they have to manufacture them in Switzerland. If I'm not mistakes they have a plant in Ohio.
  8. To be honest, I think they should have added some sort of shock absorbing system for the lateral movement (some for the vertical axis wouldn't hurt). Also, why didn't they try consulting B&M about some new trains. They managed to pull it off for Steel Dragon 2000.
  9. Well said. Very well said.
  10. Man, I thought this was hilarious I laughed for ten minutes because I just got this mental image of this turning out like every other fail compilation video.
  11. So since this is the internet, you must come across a lot of weird and plain repugnant people, so that involves a lot of banning. How frequently do you have to ban someone?
  12. Oh my goodness, that drop is a LOT steeper than I thought. Also, I'm thinking they could have this open by June.
  13. Ok, so me being a New Englander was interested in when a trip to the east coast would be made or if there is even one scheduled.
  14. Ikr it's my home park and the staff is not friendly at all, except for maybe a few of them That's the funny thing. They have some of the rudest staff of any park anywhere. If they had a golden ticket award for the rudest and worst staff and they won I would have no complaints. I would be shocked if they didn't win that award actually. Yeah, that was rather funny. I guess those die-hard (by the way, if any die hard SFNE fans are offended, my apologies) SFNE fans were hard at work.
  15. Yeah, you are very right. All that matters is your personal opinion, however I guess what the better question would be is if there will come a coaster that will change the minds of the general public.
  16. So, I have noticed that for the past 14 years, the best coaster in the world has either been Bizarro or Millennium Force, do you think that in the next say 10 years that there will be a coaster that takes that title away?
  17. Oh, it looks as if Bizarro came in second again. I'm thinking if they changed the theming a little they could take back first place.
  18. Oh, never mind. Millennium Force came in first place (horray!) and Boulder Dash came in first for wooden roller coasters.
  19. So, since the Golden Ticket Awards start today, does anyone have any predictions on where Bizarro is going to come in the rankings? I think it's going to come in at #2 or maybe #1.
  20. Maybe they could reinforce the launched part of the coaster with steel, but would be stretching the definition of a hybrid coaster.
  21. The big question for me is weather they will attempt a launched hybrid coaster.
  22. Maybe they could try a non inverting loop or an incline loop.
  23. Yeah, Balder is rather compact and yet that offers extreme air time.
  24. I suppose you are right, but then again the original drop wasn't that steep and it was still fun.
  25. Does anyone think that the rather steep angle of the drop will counteract the actual height and make it more intense.
