  1. Wow, that old video of Cyclone looks SO intense and I wish I was alive then to experience it. Oh and I will put money on the fact that Iron Cyclone is fact, all the facts are for it. Also if they didn't do Iron Cyclone, The CEO of Six Flags would not live to see another sunrise
  2. Does anyone have any opinions about what elements will be put into Steel Cyclone? In my opinion I think the ride will start up with a steeper and longer drop, leading to a turn around that has a barrel roll in it. Then it will take another steep drop and enter the second turn around which will have a steeper initial angle. From there on out it will consist of airtime hills and a barrel roll or two. I know, I am probably far off from what it will really look like but I want to know what some other people think it will look like... Happy riding!
  3. OM-flipping-G are you serious! This is great news!
  4. If you look at google maps, you will see that the area that flashback is situated in is rather large. It could easily fit a clone of Yamaha Racing Coaster. Also a batman clone would be a great thing to see come to the park.
  5. Yeah, I have some other enthusiast friends that say that the back is better but I think the front gets an equal amount of airtime
  6. Where do you get better air time, in the front or the back?
  7. You know, there is a rumor that they might remove Flashback and put in a Flash (I am referring to the superhero and if you don't know who he is I don't want to associate with you ) themed roller coaster from Premier Rides. It would be identical to Yamaha Racing Coaster and it would fit in the space Flashback occupies quite nicely. Also, they would kill two coasters with one stone, they would get rid of that wretched coaster they call "Flashback" and finally get a launching coaster. However, if that rumor turns out to be total bogus the they could always do a little refurbishment of the ride by adding new trains, making a fully electric lift system (similar to the one at Six Flags St.Louis) and add a new paint job.
  8. I get what you are saying about the hyper lites and overall that would be a fantastic idea. Also, Six Flags has to realize that they don't have to put inversions on freaking everything!
  9. Oh really, I was not aware of the positive feed back, my bad.
  10. To be honest, I really hope that it is more like Medusa Steel Coaster. I like how it has a sensation of speed combined with inversions and airtime. It makes for an all around perfect roller coaster. I dearly hope it doesn't let us down like Goliath at SFGA did.
  11. You know what, I didn't find bonzai was terribly thrilling. It was fun, but certainly not as scary as I first thought. To be honest the drop looks huge at first but when you actually experience it its a bit of a let down. Also I am confident that Cyclone will be given the iron horse treatment for all the reasons listed above and more.
  12. I swear I will find the man who promoted that law and take his head, find a milling machine, and see if his head can be turned into a cube.
  13. Wow, a blue color sounds so much better. It would suit the overall structure color very well and it would blend in quite well.
  14. The new restraints don't have handle bars! Now my hands will just be flapping around in the wind like dead fish.
  15. You know what, I think that Wildcat at Hershey park would make an excellent I box conversion...
  16. Yeah, they will need a much longer queue for a ride that will be as popular as this.
  17. You know what, this reminds me of the Rattler. It had an intense first drop but it was soon covered up, it had long boring parts, and when RMC came into the picture, they improved upon the lifeless ride.
  18. Oh my goodness, you were really there when it opened. That's amazing!
