  1. If I'm not mistaken this is the first truly compact RMC.
  2. I am really looking forward to trains with legroom and some amount of comfort.
  3. HHHHOOOOLLLLYYY CCCCRRRRAAAAPPPP! When I saw this video I got so excited. I think RMC is trekking into Intamin territory now, it looks insane. Thankfully I only live about an hour away from SFNE so I can ride it when I want (and have the time to...).
  4. Sure. What I meant by that is you are one of the first people in line due to the fact that you own one of if not the biggest theme park sites in the world.
  5. So essentially what you are saying is you are the first to hear about any new roller coasters.
  6. Yeah, I agree. A park with a history that goes back to the 1800's shouldn't be modernized. The name Wicked Twistah (he he New England joke) just doesn't suit the park.
  7. Personally, I am not opposed to Intamins insanity, because that's what makes Intamin so special. You can never find rides as crazy as the ones Intamin makes, and that's what makes them so popular.
  8. Well my initial thought was that the forces of the somewhat tight overbanked turn combined with the new height that the coaster is being given could possibly exert extreme g's that could result in anomalies such as black-outs and grey-outs. Any other thoughts as to how they might solve this problem? By the way, if some of you want to see what I am talking about, check out some of the pictures on SFNE online's recent update of the construction.
  9. I have been looking at some construction pics and I'm beginning to think that the mighty Cyclone will be neutered (I know that's a weird metaphor). I think that an overbanked turn will not be able to handle the speed due to the height change, and there is no sign that there will be an extension of the structure.
  10. Yeah, your right, that is a very nice name for the coaster. I can actually see Six Flags doing that. Also Six Flags has never used that name so it would be logical.
  11. I fell so bad for you. I have had the Bizarro incident happen to me but I have never been on a crowded day, but I heard from a friend who goes to Sandusky that the lines at Six Flags New England can rival the ones at Cedar point on the right day.
  12. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that there are a lot of roller coasters named after torrents of any sort. I mean there's Cyclone, Twister, Hurricane, Thunderbolt, Lighting ect...
  13. I'm on board with the whole apocalypse thing. In my opinion it has a nice ring to it. Also, Six Flags doesn't need to give us hints, they have already spilled the beans.
  14. I would think that making the Sky screamer go backwards wouldn't be that hard right...
  15. You know what, that was a really crappy move by Six Flags. This will not make people want to visit the park.
  16. You know, I was thinking, what would Cyclone become if it weren't for RMC?
  17. Yeah, if you have a camera, camera phone, stone tablet, or a very large canvas send us some pics.
  18. Also if RMC wants a good rep, they will get both projects done by next year. This is a big chance for them to show us what they've got.
  19. I think you are right about that. They first had RMC come in with their mini diggers that read RMC, then they only take out the track, and then they start laying down the track. Bravo Six Flags.
  20. I would tend towards th New England Cyclone because that name has a certain vibe that gives you the feeling that it's still a classic.
  21. But if we know Six Flags, they will somehow likely make the ride worse.
  22. This is why they should not do Mind Eraser Reverse...
  23. I can just see the new catch phrase, "It'll bust your brain cells!"
