  1. I certainly hope it ends up being real. I feel like it would be a great move for the park. I don't know how business works, but you would think it would bring a great return of investment.
  2. I rarely go to the water park as well, but I would if we got a water coaster. I'm kind of with you on this, Vonni. I still think I would rather have something for the dry side, though. I'm trying to stay positive about this, but if you think about it, it's kind of depressing most of us are crossing our fingers for a free spin. We once hoped for the possibility of a hyper. Then, we hoped for the possibility of a half version RMC conversion of the Boss. After that, we hoped for a used modern steel roller coaster. Finally, we're hoping for a S&S free spin. I'm seeing a depressing trend. Oh I completely agree. I guess I've just brought myself to a more logical outlook. My heart still aches for an awesome B&M hyper. But I know that ship has, at least most likely, sailed. I don't really know why, but I kind of would prefer a water coaster over an S&S free spin. I guess, even as a clone, a water coaster would be a bit more unique. But, if we get a free spin, I'll be excited to try it, and hoping it doesn't make me sick lol!
  3. yep.. I'll never understand those that can't just enjoy a park for what it is, and have to bitch and moan. in the past couple of years, SFoT got: Justice League dark ride, Joker Coaster, Riddler pendulum, and Catwoman next gen enterprise. not to mention the beautifully realized Gotham City area improved with these additions, an the perfect retheme in Harley's Spinsanity. go back a year before, and Texas Skyscreamer. the park has Shockwave, NTAG, and a bunch of other coasters. go enjoy, and stop complaining. sheesh. The expanded Gotham City really does look great (at least from pictures as I have yet to see it in person)
  4. So since the announcement that Georgia Cyclone is closing, has the wait increased from people trying to get in the last rides? Or has it not really had any affect? I'm just curious.
  5. Any speculation or rumors for 2018? I haven't heard much regarding SFGAm yet....
  6. ^ Awesome pics! I really liked the Batman through the trees and the storm over Joker!
  7. That looks really cool! Has the theme for the haunt been announced yet?
  8. I completely agree with you. And your interpretation seems to point directly to Intamin. I know none of us really know, but it just seems logical.
  9. I doubt Pandemonium would be relocated within the park. It would most likely be moved to a different park entirely.
  10. I rarely go to the water park as well, but I would if we got a water coaster.
  11. As much as large groups in a haunt does put a bit of a damper on the fun, the waits would be even more brutal otherwise. FF just seems to be so packed at all of the parks in the chain.
  12. ^^^ I hope I can see all of that in person some day. Being poor sucks lol!
  13. ^ I can understand most of your frustrations, but I feel like most of it is subjective. For instance, my home park is SFStL and I would love to have just one of the awesome coasters SFOT has (and no, Flashback didn't count lol). We don't have a hyper, or an RMC.
  14. Ah man! Its the RMC Mean Streak opening debate all over again lol!
  15. Oh please do! I would love to see that!
  16. ^ Perhaps a Spinsanity? Or maybe 2018 will be an "off" year for SFOT and a new show is in the works.
  17. Every other RMC conversion for the SF chain since Texas Giant has taken place in one off season. Texas Giant was the first, so naturally that took a little more time to perfect and as others have stated, Texas Giant was a much larger undertaking. Georgia Cyclone will most likely be open by, or around Memorial Day Weekend of 2018.
  18. Thank you! I was just curious because most of the water parks in the chain are actually connected to the dry park so when the water park gets an addition it is considered the new addition for the park that season.
  19. Just out of curiosity, being that SFGAd and the water park are two completely separate parks, would a capital investment for the water park be considered the major addition for the dry park as well, or would the dry park still get a major investment the same year as a major investment to the water park? I hope that makes sense.
