  1. I agree with you 100%. The Predator is a very good underrated coaster. People are always putting it down, when they probably haven't ridden it since it got the new trains. The ride is a lot less shaky, and still delivers great ejection airtime. Actually, it is one of my top 3 woodies.
  2. Are you talking about the Fun and Games Park in Tonawanda, NY? If so, I remember that place.
  3. There's the old legend of the man dying on top of the Ride of Steel after having a heart attack. I have heard of at least 10 versions of that one.
  4. Definitely take a jaunt down to Conneaut Lake someday and then let us know what you think of that compared to Fantasy Island...either that, or cross the border and go to Marineland! Actually, I will now say that Marineland is the most ghetto park I have visited. I forgot all about it. With all of the controversy lately, and the fact it took over 20 years to complete the volcano on Dragon Mountain makes me say this.
  5. Yeah, I go mid-day, so lines are much longer. Swirl City can reach a 1 1/2 hour wait
  6. Why would they leave it SBNO? That would be extremely noticeable. The best thing to do is leave it open, because every time I visited the water park, there was about a 30-45 minute wait. I would call that popular.
  7. I don't think that that would fit. It's just too big of a slide for there. Plus, construction crews would have a hard time building it.
  8. I just couldn't see Cuda Falls going anywhere. The park can't move it due to costs, and they just refurbished the slides 3 years ago.
  9. Cascade Canyon was closed at the end of 2001, and Shipwreck Falls opened in 2002, so it was in operation in 2000 and 2001.
  10. I just found the website that Rampage is being sold on. Here it is! www.amusement-rides.com/products/wooden-coaster---rampage/23316/
  11. Fantasy Island is the most ghetto park I have visited. One definition of ghetto is an adjective for poor. So you may be confused as to how I used the word ghetto. All I was saying, was that the park is poor, because it has mostly carny rides. The Silver Comet is obviously an exception.
  12. For me, the most ghetto park I have visited is Martin's Fantasy Island. It is a really nice park, and I recommend going there to ride the Silver Comet. Most rides are carnival models that are completely taken down at the end of the season. When I said that the pond water was green in the first post, that actually came from this park. I believe that their new coaster this year is going to be a dog themed Wacky Worm.
  13. ^Some people just have to find a way to put down everything. Those teacup cars are the coolest ones I have ever seen in my opinion.
  14. Oh, so it was just a nickname for the Roll-O-Plane. Thanks.
  15. Does anybody remeber what type of ride the "salt and pepper shakers" was? I couldn't find anything about it online.
  16. Was the park really like that on a normal day? If it was, how did those rides pass inspection?
  17. What is the most ghetto park you have visited? Was it that famous park with gum on every stall door lock, so you can't lock the door? Or was it that park with green water in the pond? Those weren't meant to be real parks, but what's your opinion?
  18. I hate when release dates of things are pushed back. Rockstar Games just announced that GTA 5 will be released in September instead of spring. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
  19. They already made it clear in a statement that they aren't looking to add any coasters soon, they are just looking to fix the park's infrastructure.
  20. They are referring to the Color Me Rad 5K Marathon, which takes place on June 22 at Darien Lake. Wow, leave it to Darien Lake to disappoint us once again. They actually don't make Six Flags look that bad anymore.
