Don't. It's very possible the guy I chatted with could be just saying stuff. Idk. A Kids coaster would make sense. The Scooby-Doo remodeling doesn't make sense to me, but if Six Flags is giving out surveys, it may be a possible new attraction. Scooby-Doo is still filling its queue line, so I don't know why Six Flags wants to fix something that isn't broken. If we don't get a hyper, the only other coasters that I could see us getting would be a wing or flying coaster. Both of those are available at SFGAm, so I don't know if they'd be marketable here. But 5 hours is still a long ways away. While Great America has a hyper, we could get a custom one and market it differently.

If Scooby-Doo or Hot Wheels are the themes, I could see them in DC Comics Plaza. I know Six Flags is not the best theme park corporation at theme-ing, but a ride themed as those two would make literally no sense in Bugs Bunny National Park. Also, my friend's mom's high school class all seemed to go into the theme park business. One is a main Imagineer at Disney, one is some type of high-up manager of SFSTL, I believe he is in charge of marketing. Well, today at the park we ran into him and said hi and all. When we said that we weren't really that thrilled about Boomerang, he mentioned that he knows of SFSTL's plan for next year, and told us that it was a HUGE attraction(s) coming to the park. They way he was so excited about it made it sound like possibly an expansion with a few rides or maybe just one extreme ride. I know he could be just saying that since it's his job, but he was REALLY enthusiastic. I think, because of his comments and the surveys going on, the new attraction(s) for next year could be: 1. A hyper coaster 2. A wing coaster (X-Flight) 3. Pirate dark ride replacing Scooby-Doo 4. A kiddie coaster themed to Scooby-Doo 5. A combination of 1 or 2 and 3 or 4 Also, today the park told us there were 12,000 people in attendance. Excalibur was running. Batman's queue was COMPLETELY packed, the line stretched back to the swirly lines and all the switchbacks were full. Ninja's line went down the stairs and filled up the switchback underneath the loading area. Mine Train's queue was completely full as well. Most crowded Six Flags has ever been for me. It was CRAZY. SO yeah, that's all I have right now.

You can tell on those photos that they aren't done painting Boomerang. They painted it in Texas before they brought it up here. Why would it not be done? Well either they haven't finished or that cheap paint is already falling off. There's lots of HUGE chips in the supports already. It looks sloppy.

I'm sorry, please stop all this hating on ProZach. He has the right to state his opinion without being heckled. I mean seriously, sure, it's a coaster, and most of the public see it as a cool coaster, but coaster-fans know what it really is. It's a 20+ year old, head-banging Vekoma coaster. I'm not saying you guys can't say that you like Boomerang, but those who dislike it have the right to say that they do. I'm pretty sure that this all started a few pages back when he said something about how the train colors don't matter because soon they'll be covered with ads. This was a joke, and it should be taken as one, even if it could come true one day . (On a side note, Six Flags has removed all the ads on the coaster trains this year! ) Now let's stop hating on ProZach and get back to the park. Sorry for my rant. Stay classy, TPR.

There he is, the board's resident ray of sunshine! Anyhoo.... Does anyone know of this park ever had a skyride? The lack of skyrides, double/triple wheels & parachute drops is saddening. First of all, ProZach was just stating the obvious, so don't get all upset. Your reply to his "negative" post was just as negative. Second of all, SFSTL did have a skyride and a parachute at one point. The skyride was removed after a gondola fell off and killed the people inside. Also, this is 2013. Not 1973. Why the heck is it saddening that SFSTL doesn't have outdated rides? Also, what the heck is a double/triple wheel?

American thunder would have been better had they installed woodie like Apocalypse. But considering how poorly they maintain wood, probably not a good choice. The Boss was awlful last year, worse in my opinion that Timber Wolf at WOF. What would be cool is to put in a Intamin giga with a footprint similar to leviathan and make it interact with the front gate. I would even settle for a cookie cutter superman flyer. The park maintains American Thunder very well. They have replaced the seats on the trains when they got worn out, so I'm sure they did other things to keep it maintained as well. The park has been trying to maintain The Boss, but the ride is still very rough. (I went Opening Weekend and it was the most rough the ride has ever been I see why people are hoping it gets the Iron Horse treatment). Screamin' Eagle is completely neglected. Six Flags is most likely going to let it rot away for a few more years and then demolish it. (Just like The Boss, it was rougher this year than ever). A hyper/giga would be nice, and I'm sure the park has considered one, but it is probably too expensive for the park's budget. (Most of the rides for the past ten or so years were most likely under $10 million each, most under 5). If we are to get one, a sign for us would be a year or two without a new ride. That would let the park save up for the coaster. I don't see one in our near future. My crystal ball says... "MORE HAND-ME-DOWN FLATS ARE IN YOUR FUTURE!!!" Crap.

That would be disgusting! I love it! Muddy water that stains clothes would work best. "Hey man, where'd you get that rad mud stain?" "Oh, well, you see, I was riding this coaster when all of a sudden, this giant dog farts on me!" -
Personally, the ride really doesn't need to be rethemed of their only concern is that Scooby-Doo may be getting outdated. The real problem is the loudness and monsters that scare most of the toddlers on the ride, which is funny, because they're the main audience. The pirate theme kind of makes sense, since it's a boat ride and they already have a giant boat inside (where the ghost pirate from scooby doo is)

This is one of those types of rides I sit around in class and doodle of. Definitely crazy!
