Thank you for the well thought out post. Like I mentioned before I did Scream for a kid again for Banshee it was awesome. I never thought I'd raise as much as I did last time maybe I can do some good here though it's much less time to fund raise -

Okay so i just realize my wife and i will be at Kings Dominion for our first visit the day this is happening. i raised a good amount of money for Scream for a kid again event with the opening of Banshee but have never done Coasting for kids. what i would like to know is do we have an itinerary we have to follow during the event or can we kind of go off and do our own thing? Also do i have to be a clubtpr member to be a part of a team on here? i read through the info so if it is there i missed it -
i can see it now. "sir could you please keep your arm down taking a video with your smart watch may cause you to punch yourself in the nose"

i am in Cincinnati and the local news here is covering Fury325. i think this ride is going to bring in more crowds than some realize. -
Will the parks police Apple watches whenever they decide to add a camera to them? Parks have rules for a reason but i dont personally see an issue with the GoPro chest mounts.

i was there for that. We were on the third train out to the public. we got there at about 4:30 am though. we rode Diamondback. walked on the beast and saw the line coming towards us laughed. checked a couple more lines then left. unless you plan on having fast lane or showing up way early i would stay far far away that day. that little park will be smashed for the opening of that. -

So if I'm reading this thread right I shouldn't stress too much about making it on everything at kings dominion when I go Sunday June 7th. -
Most Disappointing Coaster!
Ape replied to Beate's Freak's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
One mans trash is another mans treasure. These are my two favorite coasters. However, I love intense all over the place rides. I didn't think Voyage was overly rough and I can marathon Maverick with no issue. To each his own. -

I would definitely do Quick Queue or Fast Lane but this trip is on a tight budget so that probably won't happen. Volcano first got it, should I go straight for Tempesto to as well at BGW? -

Saturday is unavoidable. We are doing BGW on Saturday then going to KD Sunday. Which I also hope is a light crowd day for them because they are closing at 8 that day. -

i'm making my first visit the first Saturday in June. i'm curious if anyone can answer if the crowds in early June are similar to that at Kings Island or Cedar Point where they typically are pretty light crowds for Saturdays? Also any tips for this park like special foods i may not be able to get elsewhere? -

I'm starting to think of taking my family WDW for the first time for any of us. It will probably be in 2016 at some point but since I know very little about planning a trip for there I am starting early. It will be two adults and at least a 2-3 year old. I'm looking for information on when the best time to go is , maybe some resorts recommendations, and any general tips or tricks anyone may be able to share. We will probably for for 5-7 days. If this is the wrong thread for these questions and all of this has been discussed in another thread feel free to direct me there. Thank you. -

Personally I did not like Gatekeeper in the front seat when we rode it the first time. But once we rode the back left I was hooked. I love that ride on that spot. -

So I guess my Android won't let me watch the announcement? It keeps giving me a sad face and that's making me have a real sad face. -

I will be traveling the 40 minutes from northern Kentucky. Not sure I can handle the distance. It's awesome to see people coming from all over for this. It will be my first event of any kind TPR or not so I am very excited. -
After reading about this all morning and seeing the pictures I for one have a lot more faith in the safety of these rides and already felt completely safe. We saw possibly the worst care scenario for any coaster in a derailment. The branch fell and caused the front car to come off the track yet the thing was still strong enough to hold it up and keep everyone safe.
