I am having trouble. I did this last year with no issue. I have 4 new coasters to add. When I go to drag and drop it wont let me, it just highlights the text as if I was copy pasting.

yeah we were there Friday. You got lucky. When we left the park at midnight the Parking lot had cars out past the south exit which usually means it is crowded even in summer when Soak City is open.

Beast was down into the switchbacks Banshee used several switchbacks Flight of Fear was out of the building and through most of the switchbacks outside Diamondback had a half full queue both times Mystic Timbers the first time had a half full queue and the second time was a little less than that. Most of the haunts we passed we didn't wait for as the lines looked over 20 minutes especially field of screams and killmart. I was just very glad to have Fast Lane Plus as we did no waiting for anything with it otherwise we would have rode a lot less.

The wife and I also hit Kings Island on Friday. Date night for us with no kids and we had free Fast Lane Plus. I go to Kings Island so much I would never buy Fast Lane Plus but it was fantastic on a very crowded night. We were able to walk on everything and rode everything multiple times. Did a few of the haunts with shorter lines as well. I was going to ride Firehawk while the wife sat it out because she hates it but to no ones surprise it was down at the times we went by. I really don't care if I ride the thing again. Anyway excellent night.

My thoughts exactly... Although I'm hearing rumors it may have been purchased by another park. Anyone heard anything? Kentcuky Kingdom posted a video eluding to a flyer this week.

I had a feeling it would be Firehawk and I am glad it was. While Vortex may be a headache my son should hit the height requirement for that and The Bat next summer and both of those coasters meant something to me growing up that I wanted to be able to take him on. Glad ill be able to and glad it was Firehawk.

With Pinks and Melt in that park I just kept walking right past the food trucks.

Kings Island lives off season pass sales and most seem to buy the meal plan. We got it for a couple of years but lack of quality and wait times drove us away from that. Plus we eat healthier now. anyway point is Kings Island is always going to have long lines for food as long as the meal plan is there due to the amount of locals visiting the park.

The pizza was the best it has been at any point in the year as it was fresh and it is LaRosas not frozen people. The Blue soft serve is excellent as well. The lines may have been huge but for us on Friday they moved very quickly.

why does it matter? dude said its not comfortable for him and pointed at possible height issues for him. Just go on enjoying it without caring if other people are comfortable or not.

It sucks you ran into those issues but it happens and at least you're able to make it to the park every couple of years and this wasn't a once in a lifetime or decade trip for you. I guess I have just been fortunate in all of my years going as I rarely have run into the issues everyone brings up. they only time I ever ran into a major issue where i was upset was the year dragster opened. I convinced my parents to do a trip in the summer just to ride it and spend all winter watching it being built whenever I could. the day we walked into the park to start our 4 day trip in July we saw it running but by the time we made it back to it it had closed down. It never did open during that trip. Some of the fins were damaged on a roll back and it was down for 2 weeks from what I was told. It was a long time ago so I could be remembering that part wrong.

This weekend was the first time I experienced Cedar Point with young kids. Holy crap do they have a lot for kids to do and i never realized it. The only thing they really lack is a coaster that maybe has a 44 inch or lower height that kids and adults can enjoy. My kids loved it at the park and Castaway Bay. My daughter got to ride her first roller coaster. Friday night the family was tired so I went back to Cedar Point by myself. I decided to ride anything I could with no line until 9:55 then get in line for Steel Vengeance. I only had an hour. Ended up riding Raptor, Magnum, Gemini, Gatekeeper before making it back to Steel Vengeance. Got a back seat bug free ride and yes it is still amazing. Riding the others at night was a lot of fun. Those are not rides I ever hit at night. Gemini and Magnum were especially fun. I want to try and make a Halloween Haunt trip do a Friday evening and Saturday even though Saturdays are crazy.

I had an interesting night that involved me going to the park by myself for the last hour when the family tired out. I tested out Funpix and tried to honor a fellow TPR member. My pointing game needs some work.

Im 15 minutes from leaving to head to the park you guys had me nervous for a second even though common sense would tell me they would have power back within the 4 hour drive.

I have used all of the tips mentioned in the past. I would be very unhappy to not be able to ride the coasters I love it just means too much to me to be okay with missing out on. Changing my diet was done for many reasons but as nerdy as it sounds when I am struggling on a distance run or feel my diet slipping I think do I really want to miss out on riding this awesome coaster? no I need to push through to make sure I am not too big. Some may have followed in the weight thread on the random section but for those that haven't since our Disney trip with all the pictures of me being at my heaviest I have dropped 50 pounds. Fitting on coasters and having the bar go down multiple clicks and not worrying about if I will fit has been incredible. Hell I fit on Wicked Twister again finally. If you're close to not fitting think about how awesome it would be to go into a trip completely stress free and not only having the bar come down with ease but actually being able to leave some room for airtime. That should be a good motivator for an enthusiast.

How is this not a major coaster! they teased so much this year for this! you should be ashamed Cedar Point! That is it I am cancelling my Platinum passes because I am too spoiled for this nonsense.

We only ever struggled once to find a room. it was Mid july of 2009. I think they had a bike week or something going on as well. after a couple hours searching we found one room and piled 8 of us in to sleep on the floors lol. I can't wait we are going back up Friday for the weekend.

This. Only enthusiasts made this into a new coaster thing. The park delivered on exactly what they teased. I see a lot of non enthusiast people on Facebook complaining. But then again I guess that is what Facebook is for.
