  1. In my younger skinnier days when I wore glasses some people thought I looked like Dean Cain. Now fat and old, I look like Tommy Lee Jones The best one is in the Shinjuku Takashimiya building. Also, the absolute best toy store in the world is Kiddy Land in Harajuku. It was under construction when we went last, but if it's open, you have to visit! It has about 7 floors of every kind of japanese toy you could think of! Anyway, back to the report! Thanks for all the comments, it helps to have a new page so it doesn't take 20 minutes to load a few hundred pictures! This next report includes, you guessed it, a ton of food, and Sea Paradise, home of Blue Fall, the second highest drop ride in the world! They also have an awesome aquarium, so if it's rained out, you still will have a ton to do! This park is also the site of the former jumping boat men. Unfortunately, we never got to see them as they closed right before we visited on our first trip to Japan. However, they have on of the best soda machines and the weirdest soft serve flavors! Enjoy! Remember to post comments so I can post the Tokyo Disneyland Resort portion!!! We have arrived at Sea Paradise! They were working on it in the morning, but they opened it later and we got a ride on. Then, when we went back, they were working on it again. Lucky us got to be test riders This was one of the best soda machines. They had melon and calpis mix, and the Real Gold and Calpis! I think it was located near the old boat jumpers. Have fun on the octopus ride! Surf coaster had a lot of turns. Amy approves! They had pelicans to feed, or bite you if you got too close. The actual name of this restaurant is "Booze Cafe Family Restaurant." Must be marketed towards Americans. Hello Mr. Beluga Whale! Going up the aquarium tunnel. These were cool looking upside down jellyfish. Maybe this fish ran into the glass too many times? Yeah for turtles! The music us supposed to hide your crapping sounds! Haha! Amy tries some wasabi ice cream! It was nasal clearing hot, and really weird. Some pregnant seahorses, or Acehorses. I didn't realize that crab can get so big! Delicious! Yeah for the Rays! Time for a shrimp appetizer! Yes, that really is a fish. This is why I get creeped out walking in the water at the beach. I don't know what it is, but it's creepy. I found....nevermind. I think this is the first time I've ever seen live squid. Pretty cool. Now if someone could just make some fresh calamari I'd be all set! Sharks for the win! Do you have to have your camera so damn close? Our Brits won't feel left out! The Beluga whale show was actually pretty cool! No eating trainers here! One of the best ice cream shops in Japan! They even have flavors like Black Pepper, wasabi, potato, and more! We got the "adventurous" sampler. It had seaweed, shrimp, and jalapeno pepper on cornflakes! Yes, it was as terrible as it sounds. Laclac was pretty good! Oh that's how you do it. I've been doing it wrong all of these years! Time for the kiddie cars! We were really hoping for a personal viewing of "When Animals Attack." Are they talking about our TPR friends from Sweden? This is the famous poo glass smearing polar bear. We got a picture with Jamie Hyneman! Penguins! Rays and sharks! Just waiting for a little foot or hand. They had puffer fish, but they weren't puffed. The huge Octopus was moving around a lot. The Horseshoe crabs were creepy looking creatures from space. Nasty alien ocean rolly-polly's. More aliens. They had a ton of creatures I've never seen before. They also had a good sea lion show. Real life Syfy creatures! Piranha's!!! What is this show rated?! After a long day on our feet, we get the nasty dead skin cell eating fish spa! It was one of the creepiest and coolest things we did all trip! It was at one the cafes at Sea Paradise! A beer vending machine! Lots of TPR members would love to own this! On our way home on just a slightly packed train. I think I will pass on the Chili Cheese Pancake or the Avocado Salmon Pancake. This was at Hama Steakhouse, the absolute best steakhouse in the world! Those are thin slices of garlic to be eaten with the steak! This is a smashed and grilled shrimp head! Amy loves these. They actually bring live shrimp and cook/kill them on the grill. Doesn't get fresher than that! Anything peach or mango in Japan is delicious. Even a basic fruit juice is better! They have so many different kinds of sodas and drinks! It's unfair! Next up was a very traditional Japanese dinner at the base of the Tokyo tower. First up was a fried tofu skin with a teriyaki style sauce. Next was some incredible sashimi! A perfect fish soup. Some more fish, tofu, and a really good tofu style drink! More tofu with some weird "vegetables." They were some kind of herb/vegetable encased naturally by what could be best described as frog snot. It was actually pretty good though. Meat Porn! Absolutely perfect! Steamed and grilled fish (yes this is all still the same meal!) Some cucumbers and a really good sweet kind of thing. Time for dessert! A really good fig, and I usually hate figs. This melon was juicier than a watermelon! Horrible. I guess even Japan has to have a few faults. We also visited a Korean BBQ style place! There really is nothing as good as high quality japanese beef. I'm crying right now. And by special request, More Saito! Rolling the rice that took literally hours to clean and cook. Wrapping the fish on the rice. And a perfect amount of specially prepared sauce. Some freshly grated wasabi for the Tuna. And a touch of sauce. The Uni looked disgusting but was actually really good. However, every other place I've ever had it is disgusting. I ate one of these salmon eggs and just couldn't eat anymore. It reminded me way too much of fishing when I was a kid. The grilled eel was really good. Some more rice from the magic bucket! One more slice of the fatty tuna!
  2. Time for another update! This update will combine a few days since I wasn't able to post anything for the past few days being in Santa Clarita for the canceled Food Truck festival. Thankfully, Elissa had an awesome plan B and I was still able to gain about 3 pounds! Anyway, we finished with southern Japan and headed back to Tokyo. Once back, we hit La Qua, Sega Joypolis, a baseball game, and Muscle Park, and of course, we ate a ton of food and had a bunch of sodas! Post some comments! We had a great view of Mt. Fuji on our way back. We stopped by for a quick visit to Kinkakujin, the Golden Palace Temple. Proof we were there! Pineapple soda jelly drink! Time for some Amino Acids! (Another great drink) We've made it to the Sega Joypolis/Muscle Park area! Lot's of 'full size' video games (They also had a bobsledding one) Amy's about to ride Half Pipe Canyon (Sorry for the bad pictures) Spin Bullet was pretty painful. My old dad at the food court. The round seating area in the background is perfect for a small TPR group. An interesting way of saying to go orders, or for our british friends, take away. My thoughts exactly! This was the warning sign for one of the full body games (you had to manually move a treadmill to get your character to run) Well, I guess that eliminates most of TPR! Pets can be recycled here. This is our favorite shopping area, Asakusa, and there is a tiny park right behind it but it was closed when we were there. A park, incredible food, great shopping, and tons of culture! It's a perfect place! Grilled mochi, one of my absolute favorites! Now it's time for Sukiyaki(a grilled teriyaki style dish), and Shabu Shabu (a meat cooked in a kind of soup). The Shabu Shabu 'stew' is starting to cook! Lot's of great veggies and tofu. The sukiyaki pan is getting ready! Perfection! Time to cook up some more perfectly marbled beef! Time to burn it all off at Muscle Park!!! They tested your reaction time in this game. In this game you had to stack blocks before the train came by. It was pretty difficult as the train got faster. In this one you both held a basketball and had to maneuver it through the maze without touching the bars in a certain amount of time. Me and Amy almost had it! This game literally sucked. You had to suck up the balls and then stand under the place where they would drop from. It was actually a lot harder than it looked. After seeing the hand bike on American Gladiators all those years ago we actually get to try it! Tyler and Jonathan did pretty good. But Fatty me did it really fast and put them all to shame!!! My fat butt even passed this part! Amy got over half way! This one was a bit hard for Amy. In this game you had to touch the numbers in order and each round added more and more numbers. If you finished all the levels in a certain amount of time, you won a towel, and I got one! This one was pretty tough. I think you had to hit the numbers in the order they appeared on the screen. Pretty tough, we all failed. Me and Amy attempt it, and fail. I should've practiced my frisbee throwing before I came here. The pushup and sit-up contest. I kept up with Jonathan for a while. But then my fatness set in and he pulled away from me. I felt like passing out after that. Time for a Monster Burger to gain back all of those calories! Elissa will be happy with this nearby! Time for Thunder Dolphin at La Qua/Korakuen! (hope it opens for you all!) This part is supposed to scare you. The vehicle leans somewhat over the edge of the building so the person on the left can see over it. Thunder Dolphin going through the choose your own music theme giant wheel! The one to the right gives you actual cups. Sometimes those are the best because they can have a lot of drink combinations. The massive sandwich in the middle is called the American Picnic. Yeah, they know we are all fat. We got this credit! I always thought this was the scariest mouse I had ever been on. The lateral forces were really extreme. Too bad it's closed now. Haha! Must have been the google translation of Baby Back Ribs The Parisian Honey Toast was the best french toast I have ever had! Never really thought about it, but it really does look a shinguard! There is a good toy/souvenir/junk store in this area. Yeah, I look like a tool, but this is the single greatest bakery in the world! Even better than the ones in Paris! It's called Andersen's. If you ever see one, you have to go! Miss the bus, it's worth it!!! One of my small Andersen's breakfasts. Yes, that is really all mine! Another day, another Andersen's breakfast! Japan has some awesome signage. Musk Melon (Like a honeydew but 10,000 times better) is one of the most expensive fruits in Japan. This slice cost $40!!! The single greatest soda in the world, REAL GOLD!!!! *Of course it's made by Coke! We ate sushi at Saito, one of the few three michelin star sushi restaurant s in the world. He's cutting the absolute best tuna. I hold the record at this restaurant for most sushi ever eaten by a non-sumo wrestler! It was about 52 pieces Some more delicious sandwiches! Now it's time for lunch! Can you tell I was hungry when I did this report! Let's just throw a few english words together for a band name! Time for some Japanese Baseball! To bad it's the Giants The mascots are a lot better. The concessions area is pretty similar. The food is somewhat similar as well. I'll pass on the Hamburger with raw egg. That's much better than what the Oakland A's has at their stadium! Delicious fried chicken on a stick! The police wear helmets so they don't get knocked out by a stray ball! My Bento Box lunch! Hamburger, hot dog, fried shrimp, fried chicken, and an omelette! This guy walked up and down the sidelines between play to remind you to pay attention or you will get smacked in the head. Clean and disinfect you seat before you sit! And you thought going to the bathroom was so simple! They definitely know how to use technology! They even had a shelf for all your bags. (BTW, Tokyu Hands is one of the coolest stores in Japan. It has absolutely everything you could think of! The Shinjuku one is the best!) This taxi driver had a horrible picture. This was a Avocado Burger from Kua' Aina, an incredible burger place. This was a shrimp dish from a local 7-11 type store. It was only 220 yen (about $2.50), but was much better and fresher than dishes you get from most US restaurants! I did have to do a little work while I was in Japan. I redid the paper and wood on these Shoji screens in my mom's office! We found this nasty huge beetle outside. Anyway, only two more updates left, and only a few more days until you leave
  3. Wow, are you sure the park is still open? This definitely doesn't look like a park that is planning to be around for a while.
  4. It wasn't a 'bad' ride, just not really good for me. I went on three different versions of the ride and they were all pretty rough. I was expecting it to be smoother and more intense. I definitely wouldn't pass it up if I was offered a ride! ^thanks! It does seem like they put all their money and efforts into the building if the park and kind of forgot about the rest. I would still say that it is a bit better than a lot of American parks.
  5. Awesome report Robb! Now I don't have to wait for the Sun Wheel to see what is going on! I'm definitely going to visit the mermaids tonight! Sorry if I'm dumb and missed it in a previous post, but I saw Goofy's cycling vehicles today. The trains looked exactly the same but with some Goofy stickers on them. If this has already been posted I will do the honorable thing and whip myself for my stupidity.
  6. ^ & ^^ That explains why there were less people at lunch after mini-golfing!
  7. Elissa set up an awesome 'plan b' event! THANK YOU SO MUCH ELISSA!!!! We had an awesome round on neon golf, and they even had a shark! Then we had one of the best lunches i've ever had! We went to Gogi House Korean BBQ and ate a massive amount of animal flesh! We all had an incredible time! Thanks again! Amy wasn't very good at golf.
  8. It really is at least worth one trip. I think if this park was in the US it would still be ten times better than most US parks. Unfortunately, as a Disney park it's pretty bad. They really need to fix customer service, operations, foods, and janitorial. Hope you liked the update!
  9. Finally, the end is here!!! Last post for this trip report! This is the second half of the Paris Disneyland Resort. This part includes Westernland, Tomorrowland, and Fantasyland. Enjoy, and thanks for following this report! Hope you enjoyed it! They have Toad's! But unfortunately, it's only a food place Amy loves Alice in Wonderland... but it was closed! I'll find some managers and make sure to boooo really loudly and demand that they open it! We need a chair like this! Watch your hands Drew! Time for the Casey Junior powered coaster credit. I think this castle is even bigger than Disneyland's! So that's how they move the boats The train ride was pretty fun, but the load times were much worse than Disneyland's Here are some of the Dioramas. First up is The Little Mermaid. Peter and the Wolf! Chernobog! The Cave of Wonders entrance instead of Monstro. Fun little ride. Beauty and the Beast That's cool, they had the Emerald City. But they had the characters from the worse version of the movie. It looks beautiful, but the operations, employees, and trash definitely overpowered the good. Time for It's a Small World, just to say we did it. My peoples! I don't want to know why there is a pair of panties on this ride. This is their view of America! I guess America is just the wild west and farming, and nothing else. The exit queue was pretty nice! I'm sure no one has taken this picture yet! Hey, this Snow White ride actually has an ending! Pinocchio is pretty similar. The area around Dumbo was much nicer than the other parks, but unfortunately, it is still in Paris. They had some incredible theming. From the castle looking back This is an example of the character meet and greet disorganization. No lines or anything. Its literally just a free for all. Next up is Tomorrowland, and the worst version of Space Mountain. Some areas looked a little similar to Disney Sea's Port Discovery Area. Buzzlightyear was pretty standard. Autopia had a horrendous line like always Space Mountain was only open on one side with a massive line. We got our Captain EO Paris credit! So, this transition from land to land isn't very good. Nice looking at least! Star Tours had the longest line, and it wasn't even the new version! This is Westernland, but should be called Southwesternland. Not in public!!! Big "Falling Apart" Mountain, and "Psycho House" Haunted Mansion! This is where Paris Disneyland really failed. See those chips? Those are supposed to be Nachos! No, not nacho flavored, but actual Nachos. The menu showed chips with shredded cheese on them. Maybe we just got the Hate America meal. This was one of the horrible BBQ chicken wings. This was supposed to be dessert! Supposedly, it's supposed to be fresh fruit with a Rasberry coulis sauce. At least they had the old fashioned 'light' version shooting gallery. One flash from the camera and every single thing goes off! The loudest single moment on a ride is experienced right after this part. It was much louder than the Dinosaur ride time machine transition at AK. They had a big graveyard area at the Haunted Mansion you could walk around. Too risque for most of the other Disney Parks! This thermal area looks similar to the BTMR at MK. Ready for the re-imagined version! They just need mother in the window. Creepy piano player. This version is definitely more gruesome. This creepy guy jumps out at you. "Let me out. Let me outta here." Old west piano player. This guy was pretty scary. I'm sure a bunch of kids freak out seeing him. It was cool seeing the different stretching room pictures. Ok, this was terrible. Their "Madame Leota" was incredibly fat and weird looking. The dining room scene had a few cool changes The bride has an incredibly creepy mirror. I need it! If I had this character as a mask I could scare the crap out of a ton of people! Another creepy skeleton reaching out They have the busts! Dreamfinder! I couldn't believe they still had him after all of these years! This one was also pretty creepy like the previous one. A ginger bride! Now that is much scarier than the other version. Heck, a ginger will make anything scarier! The ghosts were much scarier, but weren't 'with' you. Good thing this didn't start a fire! We were using a foreign plug converter and surge protector and it obviously didn't work. I called callpod and they didn't care at all (their plug is supposed to prevent these things). On the plane home this was the preview shot for the kids movie "The Rescuers!" I can't believe this slipped through quality control. Thanks so much for following! I may have some videos later so make sure you leave some comments!
  10. Yeah sorry, you do look pretty terrible I forgot about that. You bit it really hard. I wouldn't be surprised if you have permanent scars from that! That's right, I forgot about that fan. They are incredibly huge, I should get one for our house!
  11. "Log Ride" at Knotts Berry Farm. A lot of thought was put into the name.
  12. Road Runner Express at Six Flags Magic Mountain!
  13. Incredible report as always Chuck! I love all of the captions as always.
  14. Awesome photos and videos, except for the terrible Star Wars fight scene! I am a lot more excited for Cars Land after viewing all that stuff!
  15. Awesome report. I've never been to those parks and have heard nothing but good things about them. Wish i could've joined you all!
  16. Headed out a for a few hours today. Superman and X2 was closed on opening, but Deja Vu was open! Because we had aDiscover Card we were let into the park 5 minutes early. This is a huge benefit! Also, with 5% off most purchases there is really no reason not to get a Discover Card! Anyway, I didn't see any Green Lantern vehicles or cars yet. The line that lets you in 5 minutes early with a Discover Card. Everyone else. See you all later! Welcome to Six Flags Magic Mountain Just a little taller than Amy I couldn't believe Deja Vu opened with the park! Still a ton of old Terminator Salvation merchandise. Most of it is 75% off We stayed ahead of the crowd and we didn't have to watch the pre-show. Unfortunately, it was only running one train so even a two car wait is about 15 minutes. They also have oxygen on the other side of the hill so ACE'rs can catch their breath after walking over the hill. It was pretty empty in the morning. I'm finally getting a ride on Riddler's Revenge since it has been down to one train for a while. I really do like Riddler's Revenge. Does anyone have a giant magic marker to change the date to July? Superman was still closed when we left around noon. I guess they don't want to run it when those guys are walking it. Getting a new credit!!! I am very surprised how much theming there is. It looked very good. Hey Robb, I think this fountain also needs to be remodeled.
  17. Next up is a little culture side trip. We headed to see the real version of the Torii gate in Miyajima, and then heade to the "How won the war against Japan" Hiroshima Atomic Bomb museum (Yeah that was in really bad taste). Then we headed over to a monkey park, and we got to feed and get chased by some monkeys. On our way to Hiroshima, and that means, more sandwiches! Lemon Soda, very very good! Clams, oysters, or some other nasty shellfish farm. This looks familiar. It's the real Torii gate that Epcot replicated! They had very tame deer everywhere! I bought one of my favorite snacks, mochi on a stick! This deer really wanted some of my Mochi He then started chasing me all over. I swear if you get any closer I am going to stab you with the Mochi stick. Nice view of the gate. Another nice view I'm glad this 'nasty thing growing out of its eyes' deer wasn't the one attacking me earlier. Lots of artsy/religious stuff here. Traditional Japanese dinning. Saying hi to another deer. Kaki Gori, the best way to cool down! It was so delicious They kept having to shoo the deer out of the stores. He started going after someone else for a change. This place also had the worlds largest rice spoon! I have no idea why. Tyler washes his hands, and his spirit Nice looking buildings Nice family shot Almost as nice as SFMM's Pagoda. The ceiling is held together only by wood. Now that's skill! Even the foundation is only held up by wood!!! This is really incredible, especially since it is still standing! Hey, what are they selling here!? Another lemon soda "Close," but no cigar. The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. Very sad, but an interesting place to visit. Pictures of the destruction It's amazing how much got destroyed. Before... ...After All the holes and marks in this cement column were caused by glass! Pretty disturbing. The only building still there from that day. This was taken about 15 minutes after the explosion, from about 6km away. This shadow is supposedly all that was left of a person sitting there when the bomb went off. The Peace Park area was really nice. The 'hypocenter' of the explosion. Above this spot is where the bomb detonated. Now it's time to leave the sad part, and head off for some more fun, Monkey Park! I love their english attempts! We get to feed the monkeys! They've got some nasty looking feet! Yeah, right there. That's the spot! Let's see, the short hand is the hour hand, and the long hand is for minutes. You couldn't stare at the monkeys or they take it as a threat and give you a pretty scary teeth baring look. Time for a snack! The monkeys were really cute! The baby was so cute! They want to be fed! Excuse me, what time does the next bus come by? They ran pretty much free around the hills. Stay low and crawl slowly and they won't see me. Jungleman juice was delicious! But Ambasa was even better! Next we headed up north to Kyoto to visit the best Tofu restaurant in the world, and visit some Temples. The boys didn't think it was anything special. I actually don't really care for tofu, but this place is so incredible that I ate a ton! It was a really nice place. And who says the Japanese don't believe in diversity. This was a line to drink and wash your hands with their special water Hey, I found a Japanese teacher for Robb! Maybe they are racist. So we have that phrase, 'Go jump off a bridge." My mom said they grew up saying a similar thing, but to jump off of this place. Yeah for turtles! They still have people dressed in kimonos, and it's completely normal. I know you can use pencils with paper, but I don't know how they would use peppers. No privacy here! Ok, those nasty spiking snails look terrible.
  18. Heading to the park in a few hours. Hope it's not too busy, and not too terrible!
  19. Rent out the Mooseburger Lodge ! Amy and I are up for anything. All those choices sound fun!
  20. That's what was so amazing about that place. Every trip report I have seen on the City Museum had something new that I totally missed. That place was absolutely amazing! ^^Glad you liked it! I have never sweated as much as I did on that trip. I appologize to the whole trip for my added smell! ^ & ^^^ It is absolutely worth it to stop by if you are close. If I was with a group of friends I would probably skip Six Flags for it!
  21. Time for the most incredible and amazing day of the trip! I really have never had this much fun in my entire life! It started off with a stop at a middle of nowhere Pizza Hut, and then a stop at the St. Louis Arch for a little culture! After a culture experience with the temperature being hotter than the sun, we head over to the world's greatest museum, the CITY MUSEUM! If you don't know what this is, then you haven't been browsing TPR enough! It is like a messed up play ground fun house for adults! If there was any doubt left in the world about how good TPR trips are, this single place erased them once and for all. TIme for the pictures! Now that's called service! TPR is friendly, open, and inviting....unless your Hanno. We miss bus time with KidTums! At the Arch! TPR Arch takeover! They don't know what they are in for! Ok, maybe somebody tipped them off. Elissa hasn't been violated like this since two minutes ago by Robb! Next up was scale, the ride! Video to follow!!! "Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor manténganse alejado de las puertas." Our space capsules to the future. Looking out the HUGE windows! I am so excited! The view across the crystal 'World of Color' blue Mississippi On the other side, the Old Courthouse and Cardinals stadium. What the inside of the arch looks like. I love Kristen's face in this picture! Robb de-virginizes Ashley's ears with an obscene version of a kids story. I had to brave 100 degree heat for this picture! Self portrait since no one else would come out in the heat! Uh oh! Robb has his murder/rape face on! Yes, the Tums factory! Very TPR approved! Chuck and the rest of TPR arrive at the City Museum! This place looks so amazing and warped! Nick climbs the somewhat painful rebar tunnels while Mike Austin shakes his fist at the stupidity of the place. Fat guy is going to get stuck! Jake does loves him some balls! Russell just hopes they have some saws available to cut him out if he gets stuck. I wonder if they have Song of the South in the vault! Laura tries the hamster wheel! All we need now is a hand with a flag, and Marc Summers! Robb loves going down deep on the slides! Lou was never to be seen again. Time for the ten story spiral slide! Looking down from the top you realize you are really high up! Did I remind you how hot it was? I was sweating like an Acer at a gravy buffet! At the top they had a really fun and dangerous rope swing. You could even climb over the top of the rope. It's fun being a swinger! They had the Ferris Wheel open at the top for us! Jason, Neil, and Brad are loving the City Museum! Nice picture at the top of the City Museum (also, is the ride being held together on the right by a large safety pin!?) Don't open the door and jump! Amy's driving the bus to hell and is talking all of TPR with her (ok, so they really all beat her there). Of course a Praying Mantis and a slide. What else would you put on top of a building? Geez. Walking through an Acer's intestine. Another look at the incredible slides! Sorry it's a fuzzy picture but I had no clue what everyone was hanging around here for..... Of course! Virtually the only air conditioner in the whole place! More bizarre and odd stuff to play around with. Time for that prostate check! We called these the Auschwitz tunnels. (really bad I know) You could run around and escape from people, and they got progressively smaller and smaller. Dan takes a picture for Jewy. Jason tries to serenade Dave and Jack A giant human Kaleidoscope! Time to climb around the outside oven! These steel tunnels of death were so much fun! Trent is waiting for that special moment when someone falls to their death. Jenn said she was reliving her own birth. Ashley (ash.1111) thinks he just got a job with Virgin Blue, but it's really this airlines. Welcome, have a seat. Don't mind the bird crap or spiders. Ready for takeoff! Climbing down from the wing. Some nice sweat art. Amy is going for an abstract Domo mustache, and Dan has a nice heart. Lots of screwed up stuff to climb around! Will the fatty fit in the tube? Barry M. Deeper is used to fitting into tight spaces Barry M. Deeper has made it through! Robb really has no fear of heights, it was pretty impressive. The heights scared the crap out of John, literally. Here you can kind of see how high it really is. It was probably around 50 feet tall! Robb crop dusts Stephen! Looking down through the pretty skinny rebar. It definitely didn't feel secure because they all shook quite a bit and were all rusty. This was a really steep slide, but ended up not being too scary. Another view of a totally TPR style playground! This slide was so fast that it would start burning your back and butt so we sent Barry M. Deeper down it to lube it. Don't worry Dan, it's ok for you to slide down it. That sticky slippery substance isn't water. Robb gets ready to make love to my camera. Amy and Dan try out the steep slide. Barry M. Deeper shows the No Hands Downward Slide Position. Back inside we see their rat deterrent. Ever since they put this up, they've never had a problem. There was a lot of creepy random stuff inside. See you in a few hours Dan...or ten seconds. They had a giant "10 years of collecting sweat, urine, and feces" sponge pit! Here lies Robb Alvey. (you can also see all the bits of nasty sponge dust we were inhaling in this picture) He's alive! Sorry Elissa. America's first Food and Fatty!!! So that's why Dan's favorite person is Queen Nefertiti! Nom Nom Nom! Noooo, not Jake! We need some Texas grease for the giant slide! Hello little boys, I have some special candy up here! Kristen decides who is allowed on the slide. Looking at this sad group I think she will want to re-think her choices. Some nice Jake quality Texas Sweat Juice Lubricant! Another group picked by Kristen. Even Mike Austin made it, and he stated that the selection was 'terrible.' They had a nice human skate ramp park that you could severely hurt yourself on! One last climb outside before we leave! And to finish off this epic day, and to gain back the 10,000 calories we just burned off, WHITE CASTLE!!! Ten for me, three for Amy! This fatty easily finished all 10! Next stop is Six Flags St. Louis and one of the hottest TPR Trip days in history!
  22. 1. No. I really like how it is set up now. Also, since there is no 'mobile' site I don't know how much a wider screen or other added changes would affect viewing the site on a smart phone or iPad. 2. I really like the two update columns. 3. A larger disclaimer. Some people still don't get it. 4. Hot chick of the day!
  23. ^^They had two shooting rides, and I can't remember which one was the one you described. ^Thanks! We hit everything, including the incredible Musical Circus and Matador, I just lost a few pictures
  24. Now it's time for Parque Espana! This was a great park with a lot of cool and 'interesting' rides. The bull ride and the elevator 'ride' are really awesome weird rides. The theming is also really good, and Pyrenees was running really good! I lost some of my ride pictures from this day, but I still got a lot of the random stuff. Enjoy! On our way to Parque Espana! Typical train station, drink machines, and ladys in masks (they're allergic to Americans). A delicious grape juice drink. Fibe-Mini to cleanse my colon. My vitamin C and koala cookies for the day. And of course there is Mitsuya Cider to wash it all down! Waiting for the bus to take us to the park Lot's of open space, and some really nice ticket booths. This is their covered 'main street.' Nice big buildings. Idiot me on our first ride of the day! The log ride was typical and fun. Time to ride Pyrenees! Some cool elements Nice socks! If it's cheap and it works, why not? What the crap are these for? Seriously?! Ok, I guess this is to keep my shoe laces from magically coming undone because I don't know how to tie them. Awesome ride! Another ERT like experience where we could ride as much as we wanted with no wait! Don't worry, from up there no one will see you. The Japanese have these storage systems down to an art form (It also helps that people follow directions in Japan). They had a pretty lame Alice walkthrough. But it had random effects and a weird storyline. Next up was an ice house! These were the greatest during the heat of the day. We always bought the unlimited entry pass (it's usually an add-on attraction) and used it a lot! So this is what it's like at RCFreak's work! With the disco ball, lights, and music, I see a TPR takeover in the future! Amy's arm froze mid-wave. Trying to keep it PG so we will just move along. It's only appropriate that I take a picture on the toilet. I could stay here all day. Next up was the wine barrel Epcot old version Mexico style ride. Go towards the light. This was an odd and creepy section. They had these dancing spanish girls like the old Epcot ride, but with the flash on they look like demon zombies. Ok, this looks more like the old ride. Ok, maybe not. Time for more food and ice cream in this little spanish village. Cool little drinking faucet, but I don't think even the Japanese are that short! They had a diorama of the Big Bad Wolf and the...two little goats!? This was one of the coolest and warped things of the whole trip! This grasshopper was still moving while the ants were eating him!!!!! Nice park-like areas to walk through. We stopped to play this 'game.' You got to feel the weight of the 'winning' bag and then had to pick another bag that was the same weight. We made our choices and completely failed. We didn't know what it was when we saw it and it ended up costing about $5 each! Just hold the button until you hear it click. Good enough. We made it to the lower part of the park for Adventure Lagoon! Looks pretty cool! But first, let's see if there is anymore food here! Jackpot! Ok, back to the boat ride. The queue was pretty good On our way! Similar to Pirates of the Caribbean. This scared the crap out of me This part looks really cool! It's just not too intimidating when they are talking in Japanese. Now....SIT! Good mouse. With a Goose I don't quite get the Point...in the end (yeah, that was a terrible reference joke) Is he waving at us or flashing us? Somehow this doesn't sound appetizing. I guess Amy just experienced some Fast Food Colon! This made me miss Cingular. Next up was the worlds best escalator! Ooooooh, aaaaah, pretty colors and nice music! Next we headed to the castle to see what was in it. It was pretty much just a museum with a ton of stairs and walking. A view of the nice and empty park! This old man told us some nice tales about stupid fat hobbitses. Like many TPR members, this park had a lot of crabs running around. Next was the Spanish Peter Pan ride! They are sooooo excited! Disney quality snow white style effects. Jonathan still has a little jet lag. I guess it's time to head back to the hotel Can you tell he's a little tired !? Maybe a Coconut Yogurt drink will wake him up! We made it back. Next up is a little culture with an Epcot landmark!!
