You Might Be A Coaster Nerd If....

For those wondering what "Desperados" is, it is an interactive theatre shooting game where riders are given a horse to sit on in the theatre, while playing a shooting game in front of a large video screen and depending on how good the rider is at playing the shooting game, the horse will move more aggressively. All the riders play together but everyone gets their own individual score. Sounds pretty sweet, but personally I'd rather see Knott's get a coaster.

Watching Gabriel Iglesias always makes me cry from laughing so hard. Robin Williams is another good one...

Thanks guys. I know the track layout would have to be much more condensed than the above versions, but like I said, it seems like it would be possible to do a compact dive machine in the area, and like some of you said, using the already existing pool from Perilous Plunge would be a nice bonus. I tried to do a Krake one, but Heide Park hasn't updated their satellite image in Google Earth. Either way, I think it would be possible if Knott's designed a compact version to fit in the given space.

I think a Dive Machine would have to be pretty compact to fit in the space Perilous Plunge sits in. Here's a mock up I made using Google Earth, using the same height above the earth on each dive machine (Sheikra and Griffon) as the height above the Perilous Plunge site, so it should be to scale. If they were to add something the size of Griffon (to scale): Or maybe something along the lines of Sheikra (to scale): So all-in-all, it seems doable (if it were to be a compact design).

Funniest Ride and Coaster Names

The strangest to me were always the "Dragon in Snowfield" and "Golden Wings in Snowfield". Asian parks in general come up with some pretty crazy names! -
Funniest Ride and Coaster Names

I was recently clicking through the random coasters on RCDB's home page and stumbled upon a really nice Gerstlauer spinning coaster called "Vicky The Ride". Pretty weird! But it's a beautiful ride, even if it does have a strange name! The trains on it are these gorgeous spinning boats. Post pictures if you want of the coasters when you post the name, so people can see what they look like. Here's the link to Vicky's RCDB page. So, what do you think are some of the strangest roller coaster names? -

That's really throwing me off now. I don't know how it would be fitting for a SkyScreamer to be associated with this clue. Was today really "National Roller Coaster Day"? Or is that something they made up for the clue? The "go bigger 2013" could mean SkyScreamer. But "National Roller Coaster Day"? The National Roller Coaster part is probably just to throw us off. It's probably just a SkyScreamer.
