^ Yep. I remember when all web pages looked like that. Don't forget the amazing tag too! Wow. this site is amazing, especially that fat ACEr guy. WoC - How can Corkscrew beat both Kumba and Raptor in a top 5 ranking? Gravy buffet Joyrides didn't look much different back then This site hasn't changed that much over the years. Music on every page was cool back in 1997, but not so much now

For anyone else using FireFox out there, see if this add-on works. It allows you to download the streaming video objects so you can play them outside the browser. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1993 Also, did you count Ramses as a credit? It reminds me of those "Butterfly" coin-op rides on the Europe DVD

What a great site! + Fear Factor Live question
WillMontu replied to ElliotDragon's topic in Ask Alvey
Elissa should be able to answer that question. She got picked to be a contestant in March of last year. Carlos (Frade) also auditioned, but unfortunately didn't make the cut. "Wait a minute! This isn't McDonalds!" -
I've been spending a bit of time on www.uncyclopedia.org I did a bit of work on the roller coaster article, including many of the pictures. It's got everything, including ACEr jokes, the Vekoma Death Box, and even the bird that lost its life on Stealth.

JoyRides (I first visited in 1997 or so, back when it was updated regularly) The Roller Coast (defunct) World of Coasters RRC (not really a site) Other sites I visited over the years: Danimation (the site was good for a while, until it went downhill and I discovered TPR. When I left, it was overrun by immature people posting spam topics) Alex's Place Thrillride (back when it did almost daily updates and the "Wild Rumors") And oh yeah, a small site on GeoCities with a little game called "Guess The Neon Coaster"

I think we should have some sort of award. They would sort of be like the Grammys, but with the TPR style * Top spammer (most posts with least redeeming value) * Top Photo TR poster * Top Video poster * Best photo * Best video (of the current year, as Barry's Dutch Wonderland is several years old now) * Most likely to be banned * Best Avatar * Best antics at a park * Best topic killer etc. -
I can't believe it's been a year since this thread. Happy Birthday Ryan! Try not to crash your DeLorean!

Elissa's Random Thought of the Day!

I haven't any major issues with flying. Greyhound buses, however, are another story. It's normal for them to be anywhere from five minutes to five hours late. Once I went on Greyhound and the bus was over an hour late, meaning that I missed my ride and had to get a cab. I didn't even get an apology. I will never "Go Greyhound" again. -

I never got to know him (here or on RRC), but it still sad to have a TPR member pass on How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls Swimming in a fish bowl, Year after year, Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here. -
Thanks guys, though I have to share my birthday with both the Cyclone and NGT This one's for you Ryan -

I think someone in upper management has been playing too much RCT. What next? Charging to use the toilets?

Part 2: EPCOT. EPCOT is probably my favorite of the WDW parks. I visited about a day or so after Sören left. I visited again later in the week to get some more rides in. The park was relatively crowded, though I got on all the major rides except Soarin' (and Sören!) More pictures are on the way Is this supposed to be one of those "Magic Eye" pictures? They don't work for me anyway This alternative fuel SUV was right by the Humvee Test Track was almost a walk-on through the S&P line, though I still had to sit through the pre-show These LED displays are relatively new What happens if the Japanese restaurant is closed? Take the next best thing Merchandise at the Canaba Pavilion Kind of expensive though Best part of the UK pavilion: The candy! Italy As was the Donkey The garden railway was cool And the Toblerone But they still have the candy! Germany just won't be the same This guy reminds me of the troll at Tusenfryd (you know the one, Joey) It's like Valhalla at BPB...in more ways than one (though this came first) Maelstrom had recently came out of rehab The Mexico Pavilion With a few tweaks, they could probably turn this into a ride. Despite all the warnings, Mission: SPACE was still Red Dawn Awesome Hidden Mickey? This was in the Living Seas. Anyone know what it means? Maybe a DiveQuest guest leaving his mark The centerpiece is this large animated globe SSE now exits to Project Tomorrow. There's not that much to do here, but they plan on adding more stuff The ride system is the same as it has been since 1982 Is this IllumiNations? It's Spaceship Earth I hope they don't take these "credits" out Spaceship is one of the original 1982 attractions with small changes made over the years. It will be in rehab later this year This day I did EPCOT "sad and pathetic" style -
At least that one doesn't have a magic wand on it!

I hardly ever go to the bank. If I want to deposit checks, I use an ATM (there's an ATM 10 minutes away and a bank branch on the other side of town) I can order checks online, pay bills, transfer funds. The last time I went to a bank was about home loan stuff, though I ordered a new debit card (which could have been done online too) And it is true about drive up ATM's having Braille, at least in Florida -
Getting a Florida discount
WillMontu replied to edh's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If you have any friends in the state who already have annual passes (not a season pass, like the FunCard), they may be able to get you discount tickets, and if not, at least free parking. -

I have a copy of the original CD from when the park first opened. Tracks: Call to Adventure Confisco's Grill Ocean Trader Market (only one version) Welcome to Seuss Landing Cat in the Had Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-Pendous Lost City Sindbad Basar Merlin Woods Plaza Jurassic Park Calypso Camp Jurassic Thunder Falls Terrace Toon Walk Wacky World of Jay Ward Popeye's Sweethaven Funny Business Marvel SuperHero Island Main Street Doctor Doom Banner's Science Park The Adventure Lives On I believe later versions included the soundtracks for Unicorn and Storm Force. There is also music that is played on Hulk's exit ramp that is not included with the original -
