  1. 2 years of TPR for me!
  2. ^But Oblivion's drop is 180 ft tall, much more than this will be.
  3. ^I think I would just disable the MCBR altogether. Then it would be even better than before They were only running two trains anyway, so...
  4. ^I remember hearing they were pricey but never actually got how expensive.
  5. ^Yeah, I know. 1 mph is 1,6 km/h. Nice catch
  6. Jack Rabbit
  7. ^I've been hearing that it is just the right speed so that you do feel yourself "falling" but no so slow that it would become uncomfortable. I would still rather have a good old snappy corkscrew there, though
  8. ^Of course! It's a matter of tastes. What I was saying was that they generally lead to higher spots because most people (I mean, most enthusiasts) love really high G forces.
  9. ^Really? But that's the kind of coaster that gets to top stops. Look at Nemesis: 20 years old now and it was 9th in the MH poll.
  10. But then, if the coaster is going to open next year, they would have designed it AFTER Banshee, right? Yes but they still didn't know how its reception would be.
  11. ^Something like Batman or Nemesis (in terms of forces) ?
  12. ^I do hope they learn a lesson from banshee. But then, if the coaster is going to open next year, there is nothing that they can do to change anything anymore.
  13. ^I think almost anything is better than nothing. The thing is, when a park is going to spend such a fortune on a coaster, it should be pretty good and please most people properly. I have never ridden Leviathan and I don't know what the GP thinks about it but I feel that, for instance, gatekeeper was not as popular among most people as they wish it had been. So, while a clone is better than nothing, why shouldn't they do something a little bit different?
  14. ^They could want something more "hardcore" as they don't really have anything that intense, do they? Plus, it would be possible that they tried to compensate for the fact that they can't afford a massive coaster by making it more forceful. (this might just be wishful thinking)
  15. ^Are the trims on leviathan frequently used? I thought that was the "natural" speed of the coaster.
  16. Dragon Mountain
  17. ^I do find it slightly odd that now some parks are building dive coasters (which are all about the first drop and its height) not so tall at all. It's obviously better than nothing, but I feel that they're kind of missing the point of the ride,
  18. ^^I think that, if wing coasters were any good, one would be a nice addition as it would be a relatively different experience from what they have (still, a 4d coaster would be more different). The problem is, so far, (like you said) either they're pretty boring or bouncy (or both!). If B&M could come up with a more intense layout (like furius baco) but without any shakiness issues, we wouldn't have any problem with that, I guess.
  19. I haven't ridden it but based on some footage and pictures they look more on the reclined side. Definitely not as straight up as on the older inverts, I would say.
  20. ^I have the impression that someone said that it was never supposed to gain much speed in that launch (even before testing). It's also interesting how it goes quite fast through inversions like the pretzel loop and yet it goes more slowly through the tophap (maybe providing some hangtime). I like how the front car has headlights, it must be a cool experience riding it at night with the track in front of you lit up.
  21. Nearly: leviathan Back to topic, why would this be a clone of leviathan? Has anyone ever done such thing with such a big ride? I think that would be quite ridiculous. If this is a B&M, I would like to see if they're capable of something different this time.
