Nice trip report Chuck. Indiana Beach has definitely shown its age over the last few years, but I do hope the owners can restore more of its charm. Does Dr. Frankenstein's Castle still have the monster set-up playing drums to hard rock music?

The Comet II was also down during my visit to the Wisconsin State Fair (although I did ride the Puppy Express ). As for Little Amerricka, I think it's a toss-up between the toboggan and the mad mouse for most likely to cause death.

I'm more referring to the language/word choice rather than if it is acutally closing for good (especially since CP has previously used a bunch of puns/ambiguity e.g. "last stand").

According to one of the more recent emails that Cedar Point sent out, it sounds like Mantis will be closing forever.

Move it to Michigan's Adventure and rename it Steel Hawk.

I was at HP last month and I had a similar experience. It no longer felt the same as it did opening year when I was just simply blown away by it. In fact, I was ready to put it at #1. Funny, I actually was a bit reluctant to reride it for that reason lest I tarnish the memory of Skyrush from 2012.

You know Robb, I noticed this too when I rode Skyrush a couple weeks ago. I rode it when it opened back in 2012 and I definitely could tell the difference. It just seemed to suddenly flatten-out.

I was there this past Saturday and yes, the Dragon Wagon is still under construction.

I have it at high-quality and the stream is fluid.

It's streaming fine for me now from my PC.

I did WCB last year and I had a great time; however, X2 was down, so I think that and the fun time to be had can incentivize me enough to get out there this year.

Well, all I have to say is that Scandi parks like Djurs Sommerland have no issue with speedos, but maybe they should?

Definitely. I was out in Vegas this past March and planned to go over there early Thursday. Fortunately, I check their operating schedule and found out that they were only open Fri-Sun. They didn't start operations until 12pm that Friday I went over there (actually, is was closer to 12:30).

This does look incredibly awesome. It's still somewhat surreal to a coaster like this at the park. Sadly, I'll have to miss the media day. But, TPR and Scandi is far more exciting . I'll be sure to get over there immediately after I get back from the trip or a couple days after depending how fast I recover.

The park really has no choice. At the loss of revenues, this is absolutely last thing the park wants to do. Partly due to the economic recession, many municipalities lack the money to adequately update their aging infrastructure. This is an example of that. Of course, it is possible that the sudden surge of restroom use by Coastermania attending ACErs after the lunch buffet really strained Sandusky's capacity to supply water causing a definite water main breakage.
