That's not Binion's, that's what's left of Bill's, is it not? (it doesn't look like you went downtown, and I see Flamingo Tower on the side, so yeah, that's definately Bill's parking garage).

Can't say I ever caught up with that category. My extent would be maybe some older stuff - Siouxie & the Banshees and Gang of Four (does that count?) Sadly, I left a Creatures concert a few years ago out of boredom (and the need to get wasted!). Dale doesn't look that great (tho she still SOUNDS fantastic), and I think that's why we rarely see her touring these days. (she pretty much owns the Missing Persons band name, so really could take them out on the road if she chooses too. . similar to Terri Nunn w/Berlin). but there kinda has been a resurgence for MP -- no real new music, but tons of import CDs featuring a lot of live performance, cut tracks, and she has a couple of great "covers" CDs out. Check out Amazon. . you'd be surprised what has been released in the past 10 years. as to the Creatures show. . was that the tour that she and Budgie did as "An Evening with Siouxsie"? Yeah, it was a bit rough if you aren't a Creatures fan, as the only Banshees songs she played were fairly obscure ones (other than the one from Batman Returns) I took my partner along to that, since he likes a few Siouxsie & the Banshees tracks (mainly "Cities in Dust" and "Kiss them for Me". . and they played neither). . and he was bored. but I'm a Creatures fan too, so I thought the show was awesome!

Gym? I'm a guy! I just go buy bigger pants

True! I'm so happy that guy came out - he's paving the way for many more. I love Black Sabbath (even Never Say Die and Technical Ecstasy!). I'm also a big fan of the Misfits, Motorhead, Ramones, AC/DC (just the Bon Scot stuff, though) Kiss, etc... but I keep my "gay card" (I say "gay card" in jest, as none of it really matters) as I'm a huge fan of Blondie, Go-Go's, X, Missing Persons, B-52s, etc. It really doesn't matter. If I was a professional football player who only listened to death metal, I'm still NO BETTER than the swishing twink skipping down the street listening to Madonna. NO better. We are all in this together. LOL. . I swear we are like TWINS. my music list would be almost exactly the same (particularly KISS & Missing Persons). . but throw in a bunch of Industrial & Goth as well: Cruxshadows Cabaret Voltaire Front 242 Frontline Assembly Ministry etc. .

LOVE it. . "Tyfoon" looks like it's built in someone's front yard! -
being Cruise virgins, we went ahead and booked the suggested Excursion "package". . that bundled 4 of the Excursions offered together. I'm wary of stuff like this (the "suggested" things). . but they all SOUNDED like things we would like, even if all were rated as "mild". . . LOL. . I'll bet we're gonna be on tours with a *bunch* of elderly folks. not quite sure how the Excursions work, but I guess they'll tell us on the boat, since they all seem to start less than 30 minutes after we dock in places.

um. . ."average"? no. way above. (not that it matters, as it's really what's inside that counts. . . . but no way you are "average". try adding "above" before that. . . . you look "above average". . . . ok, yeah, that works. I feel like we're playing the Dating game!. . . we should get you on "Baggage". . .LOVE that show

I was coming here to post this. all I can say is "damn it" one of my favorite lead singers ever. . raspy, unique vocal sound, and a just an all around beautiful person (even if not a "beauty" in the general sense) tho I always heard her referred to as "Christina". . so very odd to see all the news reporting her as "Chrissy" way, way to young to be gone

huh. Tranan LOOKs like it would be more exciting than it actually seems to be (at least from the POV). reminds me of when XLR8 opened at Astroworld. . from looking at it, it looked like it was going to be *amazing*. .but just ended up being kinda pleasant (at least until they flipped 1/2 the cars to go backwards. . that *did* make it exciting). odd coaster tho. bet it was fun in person. -

It's honestly a pretty good one. And the fact that it has the newer Vekoma restraints really help. so it's basically "Canyon Blaster" with out the CircusCircus puke-pink aura? -
you're only 20. plenty of time

in the AP story, they reiterate the closings were voluntary, and state Matterhorn is back up and running. but DL Spokeswoman Suzi Brown says "it's unclear how long the other two rides will remain closed" here's a link to the AP story: http://www.rr.com/news/topic/article/rr/55255105/84055388/Space_Mountain_closed_as_Disney_reviews_safety ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Three rides at Disneyland, including the famous Space Mountain roller coaster, were temporarily closed over the weekend as the company reviewed its employee safety protocols after citations from state regulators. The citations were received Friday from the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health, according to Disneyland Resorts spokeswoman Suzi Brown. The closures Saturday of Space Mountain, the Matterhorn Bobsleds and Soarin' Over California were voluntary and were made out of an abundance of caution, Brown said Sunday. "We constantly strive to maintain a safe work environment for our cast members and contractors — and we are reviewing certain protocols," she said. The citations were related to an incident in November when a contracted worker was injured while performing maintenance on the exterior of the Space Mountain attraction. Disneyland failed to adequately correct "known fall hazards" that existed on the exterior of Space Mountain, according to a description of the citation on the Cal/OSHA website. "Furthermore, Disneyland Resort failed to have approved anchorages or approved tie-backs for contract employees to attach to when performing scheduled exterior building maintenance," the description reads. The Matterhorn reopened Sunday. Brown said Sunday it is unclear how long the other two rides will remain closed. Space Mountain and the Matterhorn Bobsleds are at Disneyland. Soarin' Over California, a simulated hang-glider flight, is at Disney California Adventure. Officials with Cal/OSHA did not immediately reply Sunday to a request for comment.

Wodan looks spectacular. as someone else said, Europa Park is absolutely on my bucketlist of places to go before I die. My only issue with the coaster, is that I wish it didn't interact so much with the rides around it, as it would be much more successfully themed if it didn't go under (or over) the other rides. but hey, I get space is a concern, and regardless of that, it looks amazing. so yeah. . nice POV today! -
stop.. Grim Reaper, please just stop RIP Chi Cheng (bassist for the Deftones) He hasn't been with the band for a while, but this still made me sad. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/14/chi-cheng-dead-dies_n_3080110.html?utm_hp_ref=mostpopular RIP man, you will be missed.
