  1. Honestly I don't care whether or not I can snap a flyer. If you get the rhythm right, you can still take off like nobody's business and get pretty high. Snapping or not, scooters are always a blast.
  2. This may be optimistic, but I want to see how many theme park jokes the writers can fit in this time around. There's potential for some really funny stuff. It definitely won't be as good as the original, though. That movie is such a classic (and hilarious I might add).
  3. ^Cyclone's hills are much sharper and steeper than Viper's for the most part, so running it backwards would actually be a really bad idea in my opinion.
  4. ^The update is very much appreciated thank you! I wouldn't be surprised to see GASM go backwards again with all the backwards coaster stuff going on with Six Flags. *Still patiently waiting for a major renovation project for Georgia Cyclone*
  5. ^I really love Raptor's paint scheme personally. On another note, I wonder if we'll get any video of Rougarou testing soon?
  6. Nashville is lucky in a way.. It's about 3 to 4 hours away from Holiday World, SFOG, Dollywood, Kentucky Kingdom, not to mention Beech Bend is in Bowling Green, which is about an hour or so north of Nashville. From one Nashville native to another, I agree. Despite the fact that we don't have a true local park, there are several great parks within a 5 hour radius of here. I remember when Voyage opened and Holiday World started advertising in Nashville, I didn't even realize that it was so close to us until then! I've been going to Holiday World at least once every year since then. Funny thing is, I STILL haven't been to Beech Bend despite being only an hour away. I'm hoping this year will finally be the year I can ride Kentucky Rumbler! Back to Thunderbird, I'm stoked that B&M's first true launched coaster is only 3 hours away from me. While I know Thunderbird probably won't top Voyage in terms of thrills, it will at least be super fun and WAY more re-ridable. Every time I visit the park and ride the 3 wooden coasters, they're all so intense and jostling that they tend to tire me out early in the day. Having a smooth steel coaster will help balance out the coaster collection a ton.
  7. I didn't realize just how big the area is that Cedar Point opened up for the new expansion. Looking at the webcam right now, it looks like it could easily fit a good size coaster. Can't wait to see what happens! Another note, I REALLY hope Cedar Point adds a pathway that connects the Blue Streak area with the Main Midway. That would make Blue Streak more accessible walking from the back of the park.
  8. Flight of Fear bangs my shoulders up pretty good every time I ride, but I still enjoy it every once in a while. WAY better than when it had OTSRs. I never rode it back then, but I can imagine how horribly painful that was.
  9. Rick Rolled again... Happy April Fools Day!!
  10. Does anyone know what the last day of Namtab is at SFOG? I tried to find a date, but I couldn't find one.
  11. Living in Nashville, I pass Cave City on I-65 every time I drive up to Ohio (which is a lot). My family and I almost always stop at that exit for food. I've always seen Guntown Mountain, but never thought about visiting it. This might change that! I'm really interested to see how this plays out!
  12. Head choppers galore! I can't wait to hear the SoCal GP's reaction to this ride. I have a feeling some reactions are going to be hilarious.
  13. Showing my inner nerd here... Is it just me or does the track spine seem wider than the standard B&M spine? Not a huge deal, I just notice small details like that pretty quickly.
  14. Did I actually see the riders being forced up into their lapbars during the 3 camelback hills? They seem to be shaped more like low speed hills than high parabola floater hills. I think the ride looks great. I try to appreciate roller coasters for what they are, and I'll for sure enjoy Fury 325. It looks so FAST! For all the critics among us, I'd like to refer you to my signature.
  15. LOL I just realized today is 3/25. Carowinds, you slick son of a gun. Looks like Media Day is going great! Can't wait to see some reviews!
  16. I'm green with Fury Fever!! Seriously, this thing looks amazing. Cannot WAIT to ride it later this year!
  17. Woah... Never saw that coming. Great move for SeaWorld Parks. Hopefully Herschend will find someone just as good to replace him.
  18. ^Good to hear. Reason I ask is because it's one of my favorites in the park as well, but it looks terrible right now and needs a lot of work. Chipped paint and worn wood everywhere.
  19. For anyone who has been at the park these past couple of days, how's Georgia Cyclone running? Any new trackwork?
  20. I'm shocked that you spotted the Cincinnati skyline from the Eiffel Tower. Great pictures man!
  21. I like Diamondback much more. It's layout is a little more varied and interesting than Intimidator, which is pretty much just hill after hill after hill and nothing else.
  22. ^Oh yeah I definitely remember the Paramount Story days. I liked it back then, too.
  23. I'm glad they're finally doing something in that area. It was starting to turn into a dump ever since they made the whole area a smoking section.
