  1. I really like Raptor's when it doesn't have bird poop all over it.
  2. El Toro, Phoenix, Diamondback, Ravine Flyer II, Magnum (gotta love the long airtime hill after the second drop, I think my favorite moment of sustained floater air on any coaster), Maverick, Phantom's Revenge, Nitro, Jack Rabbit at Kennywood (gotta love the double down!), Storm Runner (Airtime in inversions, gotta love it!) Probably in that order give or take.
  3. ^Great picture, I almost picked Magnum. Millennium Force Phantom's Revenge Ravine Flyer II (Not the best photo but I could not find a decent photo that showed off the pure beauty from the top of the lift) Phoenix beauty I feel like setting plays a huge role in the coaster, a beautiful view really does it for me. Magnum is the same as well. Nothing like the views from all of these coasters and how great the rides are as well.
  4. Sky Princess (Now Kingdom Coaster) at Dutch Wonderland
  5. Pretty self explanatory, what was your first coaster? Mine was Sky Princess (now Kingdom Coaster) at Dutch Wonderland.
  6. Definitely be sure to take him when he gets older. Candylane is probably the first thing I can remember from my childhood and I am so happy for that.
  7. Phantom's Revenge back in August. I'm poor so I did not get to any Halloween events .
  8. Some of my first theme park memories are riding the little train under the old Giant Wheel at Hershey. Great memories. It was probably my first park too. Sky Princess at Dutch Wonderland was my first coaster on a sidenote.
  9. I waited 3 hours for TTD in its opening year, it kept breaking down. Besides that, Kingdaka, Fahrenheit or Maverick.
  10. Allentown transplant in Pittsburgh. 20 Minutes from Kennywood, 2 Hours from Waldameer and Lakemont, 3 hours from Cedar Point, 4 hours from Hershey and 5 hours from King's Island.
  11. Does anyone have any recent pictures from the park?
  12. Boy that GCI model looks spectacular!
  13. I remember them saying something "special" and "unlike any other ride nearby" so I am thinking something more nostalgic? The whole "we don't do rides like people nearby" thing is kinda different than adding a screamin swing after Cedar Point added it. But by their logic that knocks out a Frisbee ride because of MaxAir.
  14. Flashback Magic Mountain. I didn't look at the site in detail, I drive past it every week. Thank you for the update. Any news on who it was sold to? Or what the replacement may be?
  15. I live in Pittsburgh. Were you at the center on Friday? That was my first time going and we got there at about 1:30 and only got about halfway through everything, they really have some fantastic displays. I still can't believe they have a restored streetcar and everything as well.
  16. That is true, however, maybe the sale fell through? The cars are all sitting parked at the top of the tower still. If something special is supposed to replace it, I know there is a bit of time, but you would think it would be in some state of disassembly.
  17. Pittfall is still sitting untouched, there is still hope!
  18. Has B&M ever done track like that towards the top of the drop?
  19. Thanks for all of the insights guys! As far as PTC 4 bench trains go, are there any left? I associated these with being PTCs after seeing the old Beast trains and others.
  20. Really? Wow. Who owned them?
  21. Ah ok, yeah now that I look at them they do look pretty much the same as the Jack Rabbit trains.
  22. So I visited the Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh today and ran into this priceless treasure. An original 4 bench PTC car from the Racer in Kennywood. About all I could find on the topic in general was in the forums. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=661369 Are there any more of these 4 bench trains left in operation?
