What I would like to see in Camp Snoopy: -Zamparilla air race -Vekoma suspended kid's coaster -Small Peanuts dark ride (They could build a small new restaurant and put the dark ride in the Lucy's Lunchbox building) -Restore all of the bridges above and have more interactive elements. -Add more trees

T2 was always a great show. It was outdated and the preshow felt like a chore, but it was such a unique attraction. At least I got to relive the experience when I went to Florida though. As for rides I'd like to relive again one more time.... As far as what I've ridden: -Back to the Future (USH/USF) -JAWS (USF) -Grinch's Cave (USH) I missed the nostalgia. -Marvel Mania restaurant (USH) -King Kong (USH) -Star Tours 1.0 -Hammerhead (Knott's) -Haunted Shack (Knott's) -Kingdom of the Dinosaurs (Knott's) -Journey into Imagination 1.0 -Space Mountain 1.0 (DL) -Superstar Limo (DCA) -Disaster Transport (Ceder Point) -PeopleMover -Rocket Rodds -CircleVision (DL) -Lion King puppet show (MK) What I've hadn't ridden that I went to relive: -ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Enounter (MK) [Top of my list] -Any Laff in the Dark ride -Horizons -Ghostbusters show (USF) -Kongfrontation (USF) -Adventure Thru Inner Space (DL) -Rocket to the Moon or Mission to Mars (DL) -Flashback (SFMM) -World of Motion (Epcot) -Python (Bush Gardens) -Wild Cat (Ceder Point) -Nights in White Stain dark ride (HRP)

On most of my visits it's been closed, depends on the day really and no I don't see the Sky Tower going anywhere anytime soon. The stage should return in the summer of 2014 and yes the area is a giant slab of concrete with some already faded paint and a ride that shall I say feels incomplete. I'll take a giant slab of concrete any day over having to listen to Pitbull.

I agree with this. They need to go back to their charm and improve on it. Having a big giant coaster-that-shall-not-be-named-on-this thread would ruin it. I would love to see a Peanuts dark ride of some sort, but if they were doing it, wouldn't Garner Holt have announced already? Maybe sometime down the road.

Well, this was Knott's worst-kept secret, but I'm excited to see this. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with this as they did an amazing job with the Log Ride. Knott's needs more trees, period. Just adding more trees around the park would really help restore the charm of the park. Even though most of the rides there aren't my speed, I'm looking forward to seeing a more thematically nice area.

Tivoli Gardens Discussion Thread

That's really awesome that someone is finally doing this. It's cool to see old, historical thrill rides like this get resurrected. -
I would love it if they did that. I really would. To make it somewhat seem realistic in my wishful thinking, they could have the ride start where Shrek is (This would be Shrek's replacement), go past WaterWorld, run past the front and through CityWalk, backstage around WW and then back to the station. To help keep the noise down, the supports could be filled with sand (Like they did with the Mummy) and have scream shields on the restraints (Maliboomer). They could even have a few scream tunnels along the way. It would have to be another type of coaster as the one in Florida is just too low capacity and has experienced too many problems (B & M like Hulk maybe?). If they did that, it would be isolated into the property enough where it wouldn't create too much noise for the neighbors. The unfortunate thing is, it's realistically unlikely. It just seems too risky. If they have to keep the noise down for WaterWorld after a certain hour for the neighbors, even with all of the sound barriers they have been installing, I'm very doubtful. I think Mummy is as close as we're going to get to a having a descent coaster. It's nice wishful thinking though. Not realistic, but if they really wanted to, I think...I think this time...it's GOING TO WORK!

Unfortunately, there probably won't be any Tron presence in TL as they'll focus more on Star Wars. Which is a shame, because I would have loved a lightcycle ride. I'll settle for a speedbike coaster though. I know this article dates back to July, but you think there may be a small possibility they might do both Oz and Star Wars to crush Potter? http://www.disneybymark.com/2013/07/17/oz-land-attraction-planned-disneyland/

I'll have to say SoCal. Orlando has some really awesome theme parks and some great entertainment srrounding it, but that's it. Outside if that, it's pretty much the humidity and flat lands. Even at WDW, the parks there are great, I feel like everything is too spread out. It takes a whole to get from one park to the next. With DL, everything is basically "right there", which is nice. In SoCal, the parks may not be quite as festive or planned out as well, but most of the big ones like Knotts, Disney, and USH have a really rich history behind them. Outside of the parks, you've got LOTS of entertainment, things to do, places to go, activities and beautiful areas and beaches. All of the parks may take longer to get to, but I lime it that way. It gives the places more of a feeling of destination and going getting to see the surroundings. In Flirida there's almost nothing to look at! Don't get me started in the Haunt market in SoCal VS Florida.

Murdy has just said on Twitter that this was the 'was the highest attended and guest rated HHN in the history of USH". I feel a bit frustrated over this as I feel HHN did not meet standards. There were so many things in the event that felt very minimal. I felt like HHN relied too heavily on gags and scares that are very boring and old hat. I bought the Killer Deal Nights pass that sold so few, and I thought it was not worth it. $129 for a year I felt was disappointing and for the cancellation of the Bill & Ted show later in the run. Half the reason I bought that pass was to go a few nights and to see B & T closing night. After feeling very disappointed over 2013, I won't be buying it next year. Anyone else feel the same way about HHN this year?

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said
Someotherguyuser replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
A couple of nights ago when I went to HHN in Hollywood, I encountered a very fine gentleman acting like a drug addict. As I was going up the escalator to hit El Cucuy, this really clumsy and irritated dude started tripping on the escalator and proceed to slam the side wall out of anger. It was becoming very clear this fine gentleman has blown his mind on drugs. He hobbled past the snack stand, GRABBED one of the cotton candies, and angrily stormed along with it. I was right behind him, and the snack person just looked at him, not saying a word. He ripped off the plastic and began throwing pieces of it at the guests yelling, "FREE POPCORN!" As there was cotton candy all over the escalator, he started talking on his phone. He was asking his friend if he wanted to die or something like that. He saw me filming and started talking to me. "Hey, want me to show you around the world? I'll do so by throwing you off this bridge." He grabbed the hand my iPod was holding and tried to drag me like he wanted to throw me off. Very strange encounter indeed. I even have video evidence of this occurance: But it doesn't stop there. He got a little ahead of me and started screaming at everyone while on the phone. He then grabbed a guy going down the escalator by the shirt and screamed at him, "YOU'RE GOING TO DIE TONIGHT!" The really high guy then fell over with his feet up in the air. The victim yelled, "Hey! You tore my shirt!" That's when everyone on the escalator looked at him. He continued to stomp off into the fog and everyone, including me, reported him. I hope he got arrested. -
Well, I went to Haunt yesterday, and my overall synopsis of the event was outstanding. Despite Trapped being a letdown for me, I was amazed at how detailed the mazes were and how many times I got scared there. This event was so well-done, it made Universal's HHN stand out as a very tired and stale event that doesn't want to try new things. I had a blast at Haunt and I will be looking to go again next month. Black Magic and Gunslinger's Grave were amazing.
