I've seen some movies in 3D (Toy Story 3, Cars 2, Pacific Rim, and Gravity) and the only movie that really felt enhanced with the 3D was Gravity, but 3D viewing isn't essential.

The ride is no longer on the park map and is no longer listed on the website (which they just revamped, by the way). I heard that the building was torn down. -
Pacific Rim didn't get nominated for Best Visual Effects. Darn Academy

I could live through Josh Peck's acting, but I definitely didn't enjoy it. And after seeing him in a show such as Drake & Josh, it was hard for me to take him seriously. I also bought three more movies for the collection this week: The 1989 Batman on Blu-Ray, Pacific Rim on Blu-Ray/DVD, and now Hot Fuzz on Blu-Ray/DVD. Planning on watching Batman tonight.

What was your favorite ride of 2013?

1. Outlaw Run 2. Ravine Flyer II 3. Powder Keg -
Just watched The World's End. Not exactly sure what to think of it. The film is over the top and ridiculous. It works for the most part, but it seemingly crossed the line a bit. The action and the comedy didn't really live up to that of the first two in the Cornetto trilogy, but all of the main cast gave good performances. The characters weren't great and their development was weak. The film just didn't seem to 'click' like the other two, I'm afraid. As a standalone film, it is a solid comedy and does contain some good laughs, but overall, I don't really think I can get behind it that much. 7.5/10 My overall review of the Cornetto trilogy: Great set of comedy films with horror, sci-fi, and action genres attached to them. My personal order - Hot Fuzz > Shaun of the Dead > The World's End. I do own Shaun of the Dead on DVD and am planning on buying Hot Fuzz, but I do not plan on buying the World's End. Now onto another Edgar Wright film...Scott Pilgrim!!!!

^I loved the film because the action was pure fun for me. However, I do agree that the plotholes did bring the film down. I also wasn't really a fan of the flashback element that they used to tell the story of Superman. However, I did really enjoy the scenes on Krypton and the blatant IHOP product placement

^Yeah, I am hoping to get the World's End through Netflix next.

Just finished Hot Fuzz and it is my all-time favorite comedy movie. Simon Pegg was truly awesome in this film and his chemistry with Nick Frost was great again (I slightly preferred them as a duo in Shaun of the Dead, though). There was lots of great comedy and some really cool action sequences near the end. 10/10 from me.

They sent it off to Gloria's Fantasyland in Philippines. Under construction at the moment. http://rcdb.com/10581.htm Always great to see some photos of the home park. The park is a nice place to walk around and spend a bit of time there, especially with their newer ARM drop tower. -

My Top 5 from Pixar are Toy Story 3, Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, and the Incredibles Also will be seeing Desolation of Smaug tonight. Will edit this post with a review. REVIEW - The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is a vast improvement over the enjoyable first film. The special effects are very nice (particularly with Smaug) and there are some great performances, particularly from Orlando Bloom, Richard Armitage, and Luke Evans, among others. There was an unnecessary minor storyline in the film that could've been removed and wouldn't have done anything but trimmed down the time. 9/10
