  1. ^ It's the theming that honestly sets it up for a bad ending. Since this part of the ride is so well done (theming-wise), you'd assume that a nice drop or two would be after it, but nope, just a brake run. I do understand your point, but it is still a very lame ending. For a lame ending, Mummy at the USF (A cheesy line by Branden, really?). For FANTASTIC endings (and no bias here), The Raven, Voyage, Big Bad Wolf (RIP), Maverick, and Raptor.
  2. ^ Just a wee bit , but every time I visit, I've never encountered downtime while waiting to ride.
  3. Don't let pessimists ruin your opinions, hopes, or dreams. Stay happy, healthy, and positive.
  4. Are you sure it's TPS? This sure seems like VIP's handywork. Especially the trademark screams you hear from his other promotion videos.
  5. I've gotta say the height is around 160-170 feet.
  6. Hopefully they solve the vest-tightening with these trains!
  7. I've really tried to keep up with these legal issues, but like Wes said, it's just a big mess. I don't really see any future plans being affected/cancelled due to these problems, however.
  8. ^ Given that the cost is roughly $30 million, two B&M coasters is very unlikely.
  9. ^ The park said they are not streaming it live. Just be on here at ten and I'm sure some TPR members will give you necessary updates.
  10. ^^ This is the only major downtime Skyhawk has ever had. Meanwhile, Delirium and maXair are constantly breaking down throughout a normal day.
  11. Personally, I think it's an excellent idea to reuse the name again and create a sub-land from Action Zone. Anything to get rid of that god-awful name "Flight Deck."
  12. Am I seeing the rumored stadium style trains that we've been hearing about in those drawings, or is it just a normal invert train?
  13. ^ But none of that is anything considered major. All major expansions since the Voyage have been in the water park (Pilgrims Plunge is now officially within Splashin Safari, so I don't count it anymore. Also, it was accessible from the water park.) and the dry side is over due for some major attractions.
  14. Does anyone realize that 199 feet is NOT the tallest wing rider in the world? And the trains are just photoshopped a different color?? I'm seriously doubting that this is a leak and Don is totally messing with us.
  15. This layout screams anything but a wing rider or giga. I'm am almost certain it is an invert.
  16. ^ Totally depends on your budget. For convenience, I'd recommend Breakers even though its rooms are dated. However it makes up for it with the walking distance to two park entrances (one of them right by Gatekeeper). For budget-tight, there a few small hotels and motels a few minutes from the Causeway. I stayed at a Comfort Inn and it was clean, so I'd recommend that too.
  17. ^ Allow me to rephrase that, more like, they haven't built a coaster in a while and it may be another few years.
  18. Why is there so much pessimism about the ride? I'm trying to look on the bright side of things and am just glad that there is a new coaster on the way for KI. Since HW isn't planning on building a steel coaster for a while, this is the next closest park I've got and am excited whether there are forces or not.
  19. ^ Expect to be patient, surprised, possibly a little scared (like jumpscares), and sometimes frustrated. Snce you play FPS's, you'll need to take your time through stealthy situations because you're very limited on ammo. Oh, and prepare for a really overall kick-a$$ game
  20. Read a couple pages back, you'll see that it's nearly (though not officially) confirmed as an invert.
  21. ^ KI already has Firehawk, so the chances for that are very slim.
  22. ^^ Okay, so that instance is totally logical in the case of Banshee. I'd be nice to not have one at the ride's midpoint honestly.
  23. While SFMM is still on my park bucket list, it's almost not worth visiting other than getting the credits. The operations just sound bad (though if I recall correctly, they seem to be improving) and I'm not used to one train ops at many parks (besides weekdays at HW). Hopefully when I visit in a few years, things will get better.
  24. Doesn't Leviathan run 3 trains with no mid-course break run?
