Because a sign, paint job and cardboard cut out in the station totally makes themed rides. And it's not like all six flags rides are themed, most aren't or even if they are, you won't even notice half the time. I'm not saying All (Or Many) of Six Flags Steel Coasters are themed, What I am saying is that Cedar Fair took a Shot at Six Flags when they do the same thing.
