I'm going to go to Six Flags Great Adventure on Thursday, August 18th. I want to know how long the lines are going to be for a Thursday and what rides should I go to first thing in the morning. -Thanks

Avalanche at Kings Dominion, the least thrilling ride there .

^I wouldn't really count Gilroy Gardens on that list, since it's more of a kiddie park than a thrill park.

So would I,of course I'd take a good B&M invert first. Yeah we do need one, most Cedar Fair parks have one and we don't.

I know this most likely won't happen, but what if Kings Dominion got Intamin to Make a NEW Hypersonic XLC! It could have the same design, same spot and everything else. I think Intamin would make the ride last a little longer than S&S did. This is just an idea for the future though, and I think it could be possible.

We already have Intimidator 305 and I'm sure I-305 is going to attract more people than what Verbolten is going to.

I don't really see the point of keeping the rides in a warehouse, since Kings Dominion has a whole entire parking lot. Also maybe we'll hear about the new "product" in the next two weeks, because Hersheypark is announcing their new rollercoaster on August 2nd (next Tuesday).

Probably, I don't remember ever seeing Drop Zone in the parking lot so it was probably in the warehouse.

Has anyone seen any ride pieces in the parking lot?

Didn't Kings Dominion take out Diamond Falls because people were complaining that it was rough though? I am kind of glad they took that ride out to put in Backlot, because it is one of my favorite rides at Kings Dominion

Anaconda sort of fits in with the Congo theme. I don't really know if the plan for the Congo was to make all of the rides themed to the Congo, I think the Congo was themed for the Lion Country Safari and Mount. Kilaminjaro rides/ exibits back in the 80's. Now I think the Congo is "themed " either for the best rides for the park or for the best themed rides at the park.

Sounds like you are complaining about Kings Dominion. Yea, sure they need to landscape but that doesn't make me not want to go. I wasn't really complaining, but if they did landscape and make the park a little nicer they can be listed as one of the most nicest amusement parks, and it can attract more people for its looks and the rides.

I really don't care if we get a new ride or not, KD has alot more things to worry about. 1. Paint Jobs for Rebel Yell and Anaconda (They need to paint Anaconda's track black and the supports purple, that would be cool). 2. They need to Landscape a TON!!!!!!!!! 3. Clean the water in the fountains already! But it would be AWESOME if they did all of this and put in a flat next year. P.S. Does anyone know how much a ZacSpin would cost, because that would be cool if KD got one of them instead of a flat, even though KD needs some flats?

Wasn't Kings Dominion supposed to get Invertigo from CGA, since Kings Dominion, or even the state of Virginia, doesn't have any Boomerangs and has a lack of Inverts. But instead it went to Dorney Park, with 2 Inverts already and with a Boomerang Coaster at Hersheypark down the road

Does anyone know when KD is going to announce 2012s addition

They need to put a Giant Frisbee in where XLC was, then they need to landscape that area to make it look like something other than an "Asphalt Jungle" for 2012. For 2013-2014 KD needs to take out Shockwave and put one of those Intamin Launched Coasters like Stealth at Thorpe Park

I think if we do get either a Windseeker or a Huss Giant Frisbee, I think it would be built either in Old Virginia near the Kings Dominion Theater, or where Hypersonic XLC was. If it was in the old XLC spot, I dont think there would be much land clearing or anything except maybe tearing up the asphalt and concrete. If it were put in Old Virginia I think it would cost alot, since there are alot of trees to tear down over in that area. So I think it would be better financially for Kings Dominion to put the new (If we do get one) ride over in XLC's old spot

Didn't KD announce Intimidator 305 in late August?

I would have to say for steel, Anaconda at Kings Dominion For wood, I would have to go with Rolling Thunder at Six Flags Great Adventure

There's also a Musik Express, Tilt-a-Whirl, Swinging Ship, and Enterprise I think you're thinking of Six Flags Great Adventure's SBNO and defunct rides

I'm going to Six Flags in the next month and I have a few questions. Is Green Lantern a rough ride or is it smooth? Also how long are the lines usually on El Toro and Nitro? I am planning on riding all of the rides there and I want to leave around 6 o'clock-seven. -Thanks!

Shockwave at Kings Dominion is Awful on the second half!

Can someone please tell me the smoothness or the roughness of Mind Eraser, Viper, and Boomerang because I am going next month and I don't want to have to take five asprens to get rid of a Headache.

Luckily, B&M hasn't made a Floorless Coaster in years so I think we're good. Maybe we'll get a B&M Hyper since Cedar Point is known for its BIG coasters
