Testing Uploading Track to Exchange from Forum

Can one of you look into this entry? -
The TPR Games Forum Moderators Random Thread

I'd say it's a language barrier. There's no way it's copyrighted. You cna throw a copyright symbol on anything, that doesn't mean it is. This reminds me of the guy that set up a booth at IAAPA this year, and was peppering the forums with his grandiose plans. -

QR, I just deleted the entire post. Sometimes it's better to just remove them, then leave them up. Either way, the Game Exchange probably isn't his best option if he's looking to post what he believes is his own "intellectual property." -
Announcing the TPR Game Exchange!

Deleted a post that continued to veer the thread off course. If you want to post something to the Game Exchange do it. If you have something that you think is intellectual property, an open forum for downloading is probably not your best proposition. Let's get back to discussing how awesome the Exchange is! -
I've got the Track Packager files at home to which I'll add to the new patches/utilities/trainers section in the next day or so.

For the record, I found Five Guys to be horrendously overated. Burger was good. Not great. And the fries were just meh.

Announcing the TPR Game Exchange!

Not to piggyback on Robb's comment but....... If you've filled out the proper paperwork, by all means forward us a copy, and we'll see what we can do. But coming from a line of family copyright editors, I'm guessing that a creation you made in game produced by someone else, is not copyright eligble. I think you're pulling everyone's chain. EDIT: And per the Terms of Service, you may put a link to your site in your signature. As long as it's not larger that the ToS states. -

I was actually going to post something along these lines: -
What else before the Game Exchange is "done"?
mcjaco replied to robbalvey's topic in Games Forum Moderators
I'm loving the fact that a couple members are using the banners as their signature! -
If AJ can't get it to work, I'll try again tomorrow night. I have band practice tonight. At least you know a couple of us have it, and all isn't lost!

Testing Uploading Track to Exchange from Forum

Guys, I started on dmax's thread. I'll do some more after I go eat some dinner. I added a Trainers/Utilities/Patches category to the Exchange. I locked the thread, but I'm asking anyone that has knowledge of who created some of these (I actually put Microprose for the official RCT Patch), so we give credit where credit is due. If you guys know off hand, feel free to change the entry. -
I'm getting this: [phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions_posting.php on line 471: chmod() [function.chmod]: No such file or directory [phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions.php on line 4597: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /includes/functions.php:3710) [phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions.php on line 4599: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /includes/functions.php:3710) [phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions.php on line 4600: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /includes/functions.php:3710) [phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions.php on line 4601: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /includes/functions.php:3710) I'm going to get some dinner and look at this in a bit. I haven't FTPed anything in almost ten years.....

Tried that. It went from 77.3mb to 77.2mb

I got it Robb, but I can't seem to get it to upload.

Remember the age demographic. Most kids are still in school, or just getting out. I'm hoping TPR sanctioned contests bring more seriousiness to the forum, rather than the usual contest nonsense.

The strength of the TPR Game Exchange, 1) is that it won't be going anywhere, 2) it's part of a larger community, 3) it's well modded, 4) games can be added as tehy become available, 5) we're just awesome. I like the fact that we can gets tons of content right here. I don't have to visit ten different sites to find stuff, and then hope those sites haven't closed down and the content is lost forever. We may start out a little slow, but as word spreads, I think we'll see a major upswing in traffic. Even if it's just guys coming to use the Exchange to host their stuff.

Thanks to Robb for taking a chance and making this happen as well. Thanks Robb! To the other mods, thanks a bunch. You stepped up when I hit a burnout wall. This Forum can be trying at times, but you'll grow to love it like the bastard child it is. Yay us!

Finally got around to starting Splinter Cell: Conviction. Sam as a take no prisoners bad a$$ is an awesome twist to the story arch. Everytime I think they'll screw the series up, it really draws me in.

do you not have access to the front page editor? I thought I set it up for you... I've never used it. Not sure you want me monkeying with it if we want this up today.
