Hey everyone! As you may have noticed, we now have a "team" of Game Forum Mods, and they're working overtime to get the Game Exchange to go live. There's been a ton of new items added, and we still need YOUR help in testing for any bugs. There's a lot of exciting things in the pipeline for the Game Forum, and we need YOUR help to get this up an running. The more you test, the better! And better it is, the more we can do!

Will do Robb. In fact I'll do it right now. It needs a bump anyway!

I think we'll just stick to RCT and NL. No need for Scream Machines. I think we've got a whopping two files on the Exchange for it anyway. Let's get the Exchange done, then this can be project #2.

If we do tutorials, they should all be in one "Sticky" for each game. The Sticky section will be a lot less cluttered once I get dmax's stuff posted to the Exchange, as well as some of the CS for RCT3. You can start drafting the Tutorial Thread in here, and once it's got enough stuff, I can move it into the Game Forum. We do that all the time with the Assistant Forum for PTRs, etc.

I usually use the description section to tell people to go to the thread to see what CS is needed. It's the only way right now.

AJ, let's add it to Robb's File Upload Sticky. Too many Sticky's end up getting confusing and lost. When you're done, add a sub title to it, noting the changes on this date. I've already editted Robb's original thread to better outline our policy now. Once the Game Exchange goes live, we'll change that whole thread.

Hey guys, this here is a thread to keep tabs on items within the Game Forum. Questions, Help, dealing with idiots......you name it! For instance, this morning Maylene posted a link for his download to Shyguy's World. AJ asked me about how this pertained to the Posting Rules, and how to go about it. I posted my response, as I'd like (hope) to "leech" some of the members at Shyguy's to know they can come over here and post for downloads on the Game Exchange when it goes live. Most of them post on both sites anyway. Basically, we need to find a politically correct ground (for now) to drive people to TPR and the upcoming Game Exchange. So, if you see a link like this one, feel free to Copy and Paste my response to your liking. Or if you're not sure, ask. I'll do it!

Hey, Maylene. Welcome to TPR. Great creation, and I would really like to add it to the TPR Game Exchange (in BETA right now). Technically, members under 50 posts are not allowed to post links to other Forums/Sites that could be construed as spamming. Obviously, Shyguy's World is a great place as well, with great content, we'd like to offer that at TPR too. Let me know if I can add it to the Game Exchange.

Quite honestly, I'd only stick to TPR sanctioned RCT/NL etc contests being Front Page material. With the majority of the posters within the Game Thread falling between 13-18, most of them never complete the contest, let alone come up with really well hashed out ones. Once the Game Exchange goes live, we can add a "Contest" sub category, to easily differentiate entries. That being said, are there any other subcatergories you think we need? I am going to add "Patches/Trainers" as one option. Not surprised. I'm always rather taken aback by how little game software is on the shelves today. I miss the days of walking into an Egghead store, and spending an hour looking at titles.

Well, if they do anything, please, please, please, make the dang thing compatible with most PCs. I think the staying power of the franchise is evident in the amount of websites and forums still operating just for RCT/RCT2.

Poorly run contests don't work. My gripe with contests run by members, is that they often lose interest in hosting them, or they're so poorly planned, that the whole thing falls apart within days. TPR hosted contests would have to be very structured and well thought out. Or Robb will spank us all. I think this would help. I've seen a a huge upswing in "guests" viewing the Forum since the Beta was announced. Now we just need them to take the bait and join up.

Kick ass guys! As for the question about items posted from other sites, I tried to see if the download link worked first. (10 out of 10 times it didn't). The minute I saw those, I just skipped them and moved on....obviously. Just a note: leave dmax's RCT2 download thread/sticky alone. I'll work that one myself once the Exchange goes live.

Robb, I think I got through Page 21. I can't find that post anymore though. Although there's been a lot of activity the last few weeks so, it may be a page or two back now.

Basically, if you have a question, ask here first. I'll give you a recommendation. Trust me, after short order, you'll figure out which ones are trouble posters, and which ones aren't.

I want to say I got to Page 21. But I can't find that post anywhere. I think it's gone missing with the merges, and moves. Honestly any help you guys can do would be great. After 60 odd pages, I had burnout take serious effect, and we're really close to getting this all finished. I typically add as much info as possible for each so they're as quality as they possibly can be. I actually went through threads and picked the four best pictures of a project, and linked them in.

^ Honestly, I don't remember who I ban, most times. We really don't ban people unless they're really bad and show no signs of caring about improving. And they either come back as excellent posters, or they disappear. Which path do you choose?

One, his post has been editted numerous times. I have no idea if he had more added to it. Two, CD5 has been around here a long time, and I think his threads speak for themselves. They're always updated, and get a lot of traffic. Three, don't get mouthy. I put that rule up for a reason. If you don't like, and don't wnat to abide by it, there's other forums for you.

Brandon, as soon as the Game Exchange goes live, feel free to add these. It's a much better option than Mediafire, as TPR won't be going anywhere.
