  1. Which means you missed Jack's point. This model is geared towards the general public more than the "enthusiast." I for one, didn't look at that picture and say, "oh good lord, that's not to scale." At the $150 price point, I find this kit much more easy to stomach, and the trains are gorgeous. Good job guys, I think I've just put one on my Christmas list!
  2. Ask Larry if he went back to ride all by himself, to "improve."
  3. That was me. Once again proving that I am all loving to everyone. Wes is a hater of everyone. You want him to live? For shame.
  4. Down with the va jay jay!
  5. ^ That just made my night. Awesome Chuck!
  6. On to day four. It would be our first non-Disney stop, not including the odd, but charming Old Town/Fun Spot visit on day one. Yep, onto Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios America's Wang. Last year had been my first visit to these parks, and I really dug IOA's theming. Between Animal Kingdom and IOA, I don't think there are two parks better themed in the US. I give AK the upper hand though, as IOA gets a little lost in Marvel Island, and comic's from 20 years ago section. Seriously, no one needs to see Cathy spread eagle, and who the hell reads Marmaduke? Being a serious chicken poo poo, I elected to skip HHN and head home for a screening of Dave's flick pick, "Shark Attack 3." I'm sure HHN was scary, but not nearly as scary as the production values of this steaming pile of cinematic bliss. I'm wired. Without further ado, here we go! This littel guy met me when we arrived home. For Shark Attack 3!!!!! The many faces of TPR. Typically. Yes. Back over to IOA for a few quick rides, and one picture of a ralphing restaurant thingamadude. USF > USH. Hands down. Sorry Jew. We've been telling Joe this for years. I still have no idea how to score on this damn ride. Simpsons. Meh. The 3D characters just seemed so out of place it lost it's luster for me. Silly customer. You cannot hurt the twinkie! We spied Curious George getting an enema. Or Chuck flying you home! Or the mystery machine. Or jack-o-laterns hanging in trees. Frightening things like Bloody Mary were all over. Exclusive shot. I know, I know. Booooring. After the tour we headed over to USF. Run away Kristen! What's scarier? HHN or being ogled by both the Eric/Erik Johnsons? We got a back scenes tour of two of the mazes, and a Q&A session with Michael Roddy. R&E seriously get awesome perks for these "side" trips. Speaking of cool. It's Lou and Divv! Whimsical. Although never a fan of Dr. Seuss, this is still pretty cool. I always wanted Ford to release a JP edition Explorer. Minus the T-Rex following you home. One thread un-stickied. One vertical loop. You figure it out. Weeeeeeee. Adults behaving like children. Would you want it any other way? So cool. Seriously awesome play area. First stop was Camp Jurassic to get the Flyer's credit. "Mission accomplished," says Renee and the stranger that rode with her. Oh, it certainly does. Any park that greets me with a phalic symbol is alright by me. Welcome! Now be prepared for the longest walk of your life!
  7. Rumbler and Renegade and awesome little additions to their respective parks. Why is everyone up in arms that this coaster is going to suck? Personally, I think you'll all be eating your words next year. Minus all the silly theming and on board sound.
  8. Re-Stickied. As Bartles and James used to say, "And we thank you for your support."
  9. Scott, Mike asked for votes and thoughts. That's what he got. We don't need to bash the guy over it. Trust me, there are others that feel the same way.
  10. So onto day three. Or the day that the Magic Kingdom decided to play a mean, mean trick on me. We started the day off at MGM....errrr, Disney Hollywood Studios. I was glad we were spending the day there, as I unfortunately missed it last year during our visit. I anxiously awaited RnRC, only to decide it wasn't all the great anymore. Which is pretty much how I feel about the whole park, with the exception of Toy Story (or F*&%in') Mania. It's a blast. By the end of a day of tom foolery, we headed over to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Loads of candy, and short lines for much of the night. Somewhere between a ride on Splash Mountain, Big Thunder and the Haunted Mansion, my phone decided to slip into the darkness of the night (or my pocket), and become one with the park. I'm really hoping it's the 1000 happy haunt, but it still hasn't been returned, so I'm guessing it's in the Brer Patch, or on top or bottom of Big Thunder. Poo. OK, onto the pictures! One more picture of the clan. Perhaps the last known time my phone was with me. Boo to You. And you, and you, and you! I call this, Deep Thoughts With Chuck. Nothing beats the castle's lighting packages. Ha. I said packages. Slaphappiness begins. Monsters roam. Tomorrowland sucks. It's lighting, however, still kicks butt. Where's the Halloween lighting? Bastards! It's like coming to the end of the rainbow! The candy rainbow! which means Chuck gets the stockades! As do carnivores..... Pirates come out..... Darkness falls..... Yay for baseball scarecrows. I really like the Halloweenie themeing. Yay! Candy! Gathering up the second wind. Another one to fill the Scott quota in the updates. We leave with the seeing the single greatest Pixar character ever. Or Chuck as Boba Fett. Chuck playing with dolls. I'm having flashbacks to Spaceballs. OK. OK! No more pictures! Ice cream boobs complete with nippleage. The Just OK Movie Ride. Sounds Boring! Fangirls again. Still one of the best shows in WDW. Bjork, bjork. Looks like Big Mike isn't the only one that can kick Larry's a$$. Whore. Love the queue theming. Artsy Fartsy. Yum! Midway Mania! Curses to the stupid hat. Ask Chuck. He loves it. I have no idea how I've missed this all these years. Look up dumb ass. Cameron. Texting with all his many fangirls. Speaking of gorgeous. I mean look at it. It's gorgeous! I do love the Hollywood Blvd. theming. Like the wand before it, the friggin' hat needs to go.
  11. Which is a heck of a lot better than Psyclone!
  12. You know why. C'mon.
  13. ^ Are you trying to drive yourself mad?
  14. While most of the group went to Wet N Wild the following morning, myself, Lou, Cameron and Brad headed over to Epcot. I was back in orgasmic bliss. My favorite park, at my favorite time. The Food and Wine Festival. One of my favorite things to do is show people around that haven't really "experienced" Epcot. Brad got to be the guinea pig that morning, as we showed him most everything of importance in Future World. The afternoon led us around the World Showcase lagoon, drinking and eating our way around. Really, if you've never been to Epcot at this time of the year, you are missing out. It's fabulous! While the group watched Illuminations, I ran back to Future World to grab some night pavillion shots. At one point, a friendly security guard led me around to get some great shots. Gotta love Disney! Be forewarned this is Spaceship Earth intensive! I'm spent. See you tomorrow! Spaceship Earth during Illuminations. It's lighting is subdued during the show. Yes. I am that nerdy. Blah. This is just guady. Security led me over hear behind the ropes for a close up. Where else would that happen? It was a sweet full moon. They've just recently lit the pyramid up again. It does look awesome. Imagination at night is still awe inspiring. Too bad the pavillion isn't. Jolly, jolly, jolly! Wes. I miss you. I've never been the virst to past this vay. Nor have I veen the last. Many of you didn't know this, but Cameron is really Mexican. First stop on the food quest. Mexico. Long live the Fightin' Irish! Renee faces the wrath of Beverly! Trips with Lou always seem to be ducktastic. Bastards. Scott, this one is for you. This so seriously needs a refurb. 37 minutes of Ellen is 37 minutes too many. Innoventions saw Lou terrified from grass man. Then it was off to see Nemo. With a side of Spaceship Earth. Yum! We begin our tour at Figment. Without Imagination. I didn't quite dig the theme this year, but food is food. And beer is...well awesome! Tissues! STAT! Some more giggity. Oh giggity! I have returned!
  15. Yep, it's that time of year. October. Time for beer, wine and food. Perhaps with a little more beer. Nah, make it a lot more beer, and ONE fruity drink just for good measure. It's also time to visit my favoritist place in all the land. Disney World, and more importantly, EPCOT. OUr travels took us too many more exotic locales, such as USF, IOA, BGA, and of course, Old Town. Which is where we start this fabulous journey. It was my first time, and I picked up a credit, picked on Larry, and saw some trully awesome carnies. So come along and ride on a fantastic voyage. Here's day 1! Piers + really girly wine = too much fun. Perhaps fattening up at Carraba's will keep help keep me safe. Back at the house, we got our room assignments. Guy??? GUY!!!!! King 4?!!! Oh no! Acer Joe? Sky Coaster meet your match. Such a cute pair. Drop tower credit skipped, number 207. The UK clan, or a picture attempting to capture "Knives and Things?" You decide. Larry shows he's down with bling. He's so 2005. Shananigans aplenty. What better way to start a trip than with a Wacky Worm credit? Whores. All of you! We begin at Old Town. It hosts the "best attraction in all of Kissimee." For an upcharge of course, and a toothless host.
  16. Nice PTR, but this should be in the Random Forum. Sooooo......I'm moving it!
  17. Five days later and I still have "Boo to You" stuck in my haed. I think that song may be more annoying than "It's a Small World."
  18. please use a different word. Disclaimer! You need a sense of humor to view our site, if you don't have a sense of humor, or are easily offended, please turn back now!
  19. ^ You'll never catch me drinking that vile stuff!
  20. I'm merging this into the Rumor Superthread. No need to have a seperate thread for it.
  21. You cannot drink beer at Margartaville you Blackberry whore. It's in the rules.
