  1. I was thinking that CF was just going to sell it, I don't believe that SeaWorld will purchase CF's Soak City property in Palm Springs. I would be VERY happy if Busch Gardens came to San Diego. Big coasters in my beautiful county is something that I would extremely enjoy. Though, the possibility of that happening is basically 0. I agree a Busch Gardens in California again would be awesome. Whenever I'm driving with my mom and we pass by the Miller brewery she'll say "Hey that used to be Busch Gardens!" I was really confused the first time I heard it because I wasn't alive when it was still around haha .
  2. Haha yeah, once I saw posts from Disneyland on TPR I knew you were there. I should be going back soon over the winter break so maybe I'll run into you again. Overall, it was a great day and marching the parade was very fun.
  3. My Interests: -Theme Parks and Roller Coasters -Gaming -Western Movies -Disney -Graphic Tees -Snowboarding -Wake boarding -Travel Shirt size is Large.
  4. Just letting everyone know I'll be performing with my school's band this Monday in the 5:20 P.M parade. We're called the Murrieta Valley High School Crimson Cadets and our colors are red and black. If you happen to be in the park, you'll know a fellow TPR member is in the band haha . Looking forward to having a great day Monday.
  5. Missed out last year, definitely in for this year! Count me in . Edit: I'm willing to ship internationally.
  6. Even though I had only ridden a few wooden coasters back then, I remember it being pretty amazing, especially the airtime on the drop after the now existent MCBR. According to others who had ridden a lot of woodies during the time, it was considered a top ten woodie.
  7. Haven't ridden it, but Shambhala at Port Aventura.
  8. Happy with this change. I don't necessarily hate Pepsi by any means, but Coke is just so much better overall.
  9. This exactly. I'm sure I'll be hearing more about this on Facebook, at School, etc. I really hope Six Flags doesn't get the short end of the stick on this one.
  10. I'm sure there's alot of rides that could use it, but the one that keeps coming to mind is Ghostrider. The layout is great and it was amazing when it first opened, but now it's just too rough to re ride or even ride in the first place.
  11. Dang, was looking forward to getting some pics of construction soon. Oh well, I'll have to come back from college sometime next year to check it out!
  12. No problem. and yeah it looks interesting! I added on the extra $10 with the micechat to do it, so if I go before you I'll let you know how it is .
  13. I'm already going to the Micechat event this year for KSF so that's my plan. I'm not sure If I'll be able to do HHN, but I hope so. Overall though, I personally would go to KSF, just because I grew up there and it's nostalgic. Overall, I like the "feel" and atmosphere of walking around Ghost Town and the various scare zones over USH. Plus a new friend I met is going to be working his rookie year as a slider so I wanted to visit him and watch. Overall, I'd say just go for KSF, but if you really want to do USH, by all means do it. Also, If you haven't been to KSF I'd recommend going since you've already experienced HHN.
  14. With my experience at KSF, I usually never have excessive lines for mazes, just rides. The earlier in the season you go the better usually. However, I went Halloween night one year and had walkons on all the mazes so it depends. But yes, overall the quality of HHN is a bit better, but that doesn't mean Knott's is bad in any way, shape or form. EDIT: I find KSF's street talent better, but HHN seems to usually have a little bit better mazes.
  15. Both are great and there's really no bad choice. HHN typically has fewer mazes, but they are usually a bit more themed and complex, while KSF has more mazes that are usually not quite as complex. Also, many mazes at HHN are based off of Movies and TV shows etc, while for the most part, KSF mazes are original or inspired ideas and concepts. Lastly, HHN is a little more expensive, costing $46 for opening night while KSF costs $36 (Online purchase). Either way you'll have a great time so just pick based on what's easier and fits your tastes .
  16. Sounds good! Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I'll let you know how it was when I get back on Sunday.
  17. Alright, I figured that was the best plan just wanted to confirm. Thanks!
  18. Just found out i'm going to DL and DCA this Sunday for my cousins birthday. My aunt got free tickets for us so my mom wanted to go. Despite living in So Cal, I sadly haven't visited Disney in over a year. I know that Indiana and a few others are down for rehab and that's fine. Really, I just want to see the new stuff at DCA and do a few rides there, then I'll probably be hanging out with family for the majority of the day. Any idea on how the crowds will be, and what would be the best method for getting Cars Land done in an efficient matter? Thanks in advance!
  19. Wow, those look interesting! I didn't know S&S had a wing rider like concept. Have any been built?
  20. Looks amazing so far! Hopefully I'll be able to make another trip to WDW someday to check it out. Hope you Orlando locals enjoy your new expansion!
  21. I'm on the same boat as you. I came into it having low expectations and was actually surprised at what it is. It's not the most amazing thing I've ever seen, but it will be a worthy addition to the park and looks very fun to ride.
  22. I'll be there Me too - did you guys get the Trapped add-on for the end of the night? Yes I did! . Very excited for it this year and the whole event itself.
  23. Yeah I had the same question so you're in the right place . The event last year was a team effort between TPR and Micechat so if you went last year expect the same awesomeness. If you didn't go last year I highly recommend going this year. It's the best night you'll have at haunt.
