Be encouraged ... I smoked for 7 years and have now been smoke-free for more than 2 and a half years ... in short -- you can quit. The Commit lozenges (from Walmart) worked REALLY well for me. Basically, they took the edge off and of course you cannot smoke while you are using them (that defeats the purpose) -- but I'm glad to see you are in cessation class man. Keep on keeping on. By the way, 2 years after quitting I developed severe asthma and a touch of COPD (which I am being treated for but the asthma will now be with me for life -- or so they say). So, we all pay the price man, but I'm glad to see someone else has decided to quit. Again, be encouraged ... you CAN do it! ~TJ

Having been through lots of these, just get out of town if told to leave. Plan on (as said above) about 2-3 days away (take a cooler with some food and stuff) and chill out in car -- a plane ticket is the LAST thing you want right now as with any ticket -- they are EXPENSIVE when you buy last minute. Within about 24 hours of landfall you should be able to begin making plans to come back. Seriously, take the warning to leave if told to do so (I have several friends in New Orleans and their eye witness testimony is no joke) -- Now, having ridden out Ivan in Mobile this year, I would say just be safe man. Your conscience is your best gage here, but if you see the gov and mayor leaving town ... I would take that as a pretty good indication of what you should be doing. However, take Robb up on the offer, eh? I mean, at least there will be laughter as you drown to death! (Just kidding Robb ...) ~TJ

Thank you!! She is a rhodesian ridgeback/chow mix. She is the most loyal dog I have met to date. When she runs sometimes she looks like she is prancing cause she gets so excited. She is 13 years old, and will gladly tear your arm off when I say "Get R Done" ... with enough class to hand it back to you when I say "Drop". Yeah, I guess that could be a posibility man ... I guess that would make more sense since although they had one shot on him - the clock could have been started whenever as could holding the train since we could not see it running the whole time. However, with a camera mounted steady -- any amount of shots/takes could have been done to ensure it "looked" like one continuous shot.

It is just bogus ya'll ... I mean, there is no way to stop something like the train should it go wrong -- IMO, it just makes no sense to try something like that -- well, unless you are like Chris Angel or something, and Lancie-Boy here sure ain't at that level of insane magic! BTW -- I saw this one live on TV ... wasn't convinced then either!
