I will be posting pictures from my amazing trips from BGT this year starting from May, until December this year! May 2011 PART 1 I love the view of Montu from the Parking Lot! Cheetah Hunt as seen from the entrance of the park. It was my first time on the flyers so I had to check them out. They smoothed out the ride a bit but it is still rough. Gwazi station. Went to check on Cheetah Hunt construction (Note: these pictures were taken a week before the opening of the ride) Cheetah Hunt really changes this whole area of the park. Construction walls are finally down under the tower complete with landscaping. The "Crossroads" entrance overlook. Again. Walking around to Montu...ugh. I'm so glad we don't have to do that anymore. The amount of beauty this ride brings is amazing! This area will be filled at opening. If only there was a train... More shots of the first turn. The tower looks amazing! Cheetah Run. Under the tower... Closer look at the landscaping under the tower. (Write your own caption)...I'm in love with this shot. Last element of ride and looking out to the Serengeti Plain. I think this is a great shot. I had to check on Kasi and Mtani! I'm pretty sure except that fact that the seatbelts are NOT BUCKLED! HAHA...shows how great Six Flags is about safety.

The thing that gets me upset is that...the Garden maze...if you look at the picture of it on their website it looks very very very similar to the "Dark Side of the Gardens" and HOS also has a "Nevermore Poe House." Looks like there will be a lot of comparing this year.

I personally don't think it will be a giga coaster from B&M because they already have a Hyper coaster from B&M!!! I was thinking a flyer or Wing-rider...I could be wrong though.

Howl-O-Scream 2011 COMMERCIAL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IZX6ZEgVC4&feature=player_embedded Also, all of the Haunted Houses names has been released...there is no house in the bumper cars anymore so there will be only 7 houses this year. Projected plan, I think the Zombie house should go to the Orchid Canyon building (DED) because it was surrounded by gardens and statues when it was DED and I think that would perfectly fit the house!!! The Vampires Casino house will probably go to myX, and Poe to Trapped in the Walls.

TRIP REPORT: 8/12/11 Today I went to Busch Gardens with my younger cousin. The park opened at 9:30 on a Friday during Summer Nights...found that shocking! We headed straight for Cheetah Hunt and we only waited one ride for the front! We enjoyed it...Cheetah Hunt closed at around 11:30 and for the remainder of the time I was there (about 2:00). There was a train with the restraints up in the trench of the second launch. The restraints were up because they had to evacuate riders...it was closed a lot during the day. We headed to Montu and there was an empty station! We rode the front and back. One train we were on in the front was a little rough and the restraints were really dirty. The time we went in the back row...it seemed like there were new restraints put in...there were actually 6 black colored restraints! After Montu, we took the Skyride to Sheikra. We rode Sheikra in the back first, it was rough. Sheikra didn't seem like it was running well today...it was rough in the back and it smelled bad on the lift hill. Then we rode the front...smooth but the smell was still irking me...it gave me a headache. We then went on Stanley Falls, Tidal Wave, and Jungala. My younger cousin (12) took me to Jungala and climbed and went on the Wild Surge. The Wild Surge is amazing!!! It is an airtime machine!!! I was out of my seat on every drop we stayed on for another ride and I put me legs out at it was even better!!! Howl O Scream Update: The Bumper Cars were still open!?!?? The Timbuktu storage building (Trapped in the Walls) was unloading all of it's crap that's been there for like 6 years??? When I was on Sheikra, I looked over to the Gwazi field to see the work on the house...there were boxes around the pavilion and inside it...there were construction guys there too and there seemed to be some walls for the maze sitting in the pavilion. The Nightshade building saw some action but little...there were guys going in and out. The Death Row maze seems to be getting close to completion, I saw construction guys bringing in the props and details and seems like they were testing the trap door thingy (thingy that comes down that makes a loud noise and a person pops out) and starting on the outside/entrance to the maze. Montu: After riding a lot of rides...my younger cousin wanted to go on Montu again and this was the scary part. We went in the back row and it was the old dirty train...going down the drop my restraint came up and I quickly pulled it down really tight on me holding with all of my muscles and after the first loop, it locked in place but I didn't let go. I tried to tell the worker but as I was talking to him, he went to talk to another worker and forogt the conversation I was having with him...that made me mad. I felt unsafe on the ride, it was very rough, it made a lot of noise (rattling noise) but my younger cousin loved it...Hopefully they fix that train soon.

Howl-O-Scream 2011 Website Update #3 This last update shows a zombie lady that we have previously seen on the BGW's Howl-O-Scream site and the statue is gone. There is know a bloody hand on the remaining stone. There is also a new quote at the bottom. This is probably the last update before the actual site goes up. Howl-O-Scream is looking really good this year. http://BGTNation.net seems to have a Howl-O-Scream Construction Central page and they updated showing a new commercial screenshot and the updated site. I'm going to Holiday World soon. What's the best day to go with no lines? What rides do I go to first? Do I go to the water park first? Are there any lines for the coasters in the afternoon? Help please...my family hates waiting in line.

I really hope for the future of Holiday World, they add a greatly themed Euro-Fighter similar to Mystery Mine but more exciting like adding a launch and having a beyond vertical drop! Then add a S&S Screamin' Swing and then a world-class attraction to be put in the Halloween land.

I don't care if Wildebeest is still number 1...a brand new raft that launches you and it will have 6 drops??? Get me on that tomorrow!!! Going to have to make a trip to Holiday World next year!

With the 63 seconds of a ride time...the lift hill will be crazy fast and will be around 10-15 seconds before going down the drop. Maybe they managed the time from the drop until the brakes??? Even if it is NOT AS LONG AS PPL WANTED IT TO BE...WHO CARES??? Hersheypark is getting a ONE-OF-A-KIND Ride and ppl need to stop complaining about it. I'm making a trip to HP next yr to ride it. Can't Wait!

SIX FLAGS GREAT FREAKIN" ADVENTURE PHOTO TRIP REPORT JULY 2011 We were planning to be there at 10:00, park opening, but we got there at 12:00 because of my stupid GPS. Anyway, we got there and there was nobody there. The crowds were light, there seemed to be a lot more landscaping to the park since I've last been (2 years ago), and there were new shops and attractions. I could careless about Green Lantern because I went on Chang at Kentucky Kingdom and it was terrible so I didn't want to experience that again. We went straight to Kingda Ka. We waited 10 minutes and it was my first time riding. It's now my favorite ride ever! It was well themed, and such a great ride. Then we went to El Toro and there was not a single wait for the back row! We walked on at 12:00! El Toro never dies down. Then we headed on over to Nitro. There was no line until some stupid fat slob decided to throw up in the second row during the ride making the rest of the rows smelly and drenched in puke. Luckily I wasn't on that train. We rode the back and is still one of the best B&M Hypercoasters out there! It does NOT disappoint! Nitro needs some painting though. We then rode Batman: The OVERHEATED Ride! Batman has the hottest entrance. Luckily I wasn't in the gray room too long. I was probably only in there for three minutes. I go to wait for the front row until a fat lady slob decided to throw up in the third row. GREAT! Six Flags Great Adventure cleaned up Nitro faster and better than Batman. We then walked on Dark Knight and Skull Mountain to get the credit. Skull Mountain was terrible though. Almost everything was a walk on except Kingda Ka and Green Lantern. We rode Bizarro front row and they had the music running well and all of the mist and effects were working well. We then went to Superman around 4:00 and there was NO WAIT! I REPEAT NO WAIT!!! We walked on the back row and waited one ride for the front row!!! We decided to ride Kingda Ka one more time before we left and waited 10 minutes. It was such a great day at the park. Everything was handled almost perfect today. The new Coke store is amazing!!! Any flavor you want with anything. Can't wait to see what they have in store for the future. Hello SF. Wait...which SF am I at??? Kingda FREAKIN' Ka (according to their T-shirts) You can't resist to take a picture of this while you are standing right there. Onward to El FREAKIN' Toro. I'm serious. Almost every T-shirt said that even Green FREAKIN' Lantern. Airtime hill! El Toro = what every coaster person wants .....BUT WE WANT IT LONGER!!!!! Wait... Hairitme!!! TRAIN!!! How many roller coasters are in this picture? Next year...hopefully only two! Rolling Thunder needs to roll away! Where did Kingda FREAKIN' Ka go? You will take that down and not Rolling FREAKIN' Thunder?! Haha JK So Beautiful... El Toro's FREAKIN' turn. Are you getting sick on the FREAKIN'S?? It was on every T-SHIRT THERE!!! El Toro through the landscaping...WAIT??? Landscaping at SF??? Kingda Ka added some new lights this year. Back side of El Toro's FREAKIN' Turn! Ze Golden Freakin' Kingdom Reminds me of Windseeker. The Ferris FREAKIN' Wheel. I'll stop...for now. Ferris Wheel. OOOOOOOOOOo.......AAAAAAhhhhh Movie Town! Batman the OVERHEATED RIDE!! No A/C in the queue especially in the room before the station! Now this is SF NITRO!!! Still one of the best Hypercoasters! Lift hill................................................................ NITRO airtime??? YES again... ooooooooooo Batman was running great though...really smooth and intense! BTR BATMOBILE The DARK Knight Coaster! Walk-on all day long. Onward to Frontier Adventures I really like this land at this park. If you go to SFGAdv...it is a requirement to take this shot! The SAW MILL New pathway and Skyride station...the Skyride was down a lot when I was there. Runaway please!!! I'll leave you with this shot of Bizarro! I had a better ride this year than in 2009. I think they will add a water park attraction and a theme park attraction. Water Park: Something like Vanish Point...Theme Park: Any Ideas???

Howl-O-Scream 2011 Website MINOR UPDATE!!! The website has been updated...a little but it's still an update The teaser saying at the bottom of the screen has changed to: "The garden is blooming, the garden does grow. But under the moon, evil begins to show." Also, I don't remember there being red eyes on the entrance statue. The zombie lady's face has disappeared. There are now eye balls in the middle of the roses and there is a creepy hand trying to get in! In the next few weeks, the whole website will be up! Splash Mountain at WDW: Magic Kingdom! It's fun, very well themed, great drops, and just a fun experience.

I went on Tuesday, July 5th and the longest I waited was my second ride on Kingda Ka after I rode everything else in the park. We rode it at around 3:00 and it was a 20 min wait. Green Lantern died down to about 15 min around that time and there was a walk-on for SUPERMAN at that time. I couldn't believe it!!! The whole day there was a walk-on for Bizarro, Nitro, Dark Knight, Skull Mountain, Batman, and the BACK SEATS FOR EL TORO!!! I couldn't believe that we only waited one ride for the back. The front had to be about 10 rides along with the other rows. Nobody was at the back of the station! I had a perfect day at Great Adventure besides people throwing up when I'm about to get on Batman and Nitro. I hate that. They take forever to clean the trains.

I have a feeling that the commercial for this year's Howl O Scream will be very similar to HHN XX from last year. Since they showed a zombie mouth on a preview of the commercial, they showed Fear's mouth last year in the commercial. My prediciton... A nught gaurd is walking through the gardens at night with a flashlight and hears noises then he drops the flashlight and screams and then they show the zombie's mouth.

If they do get a Huss Giant Frisbee, do you think the theme could be based off of Dale Earnhardt because Intimidator is right behind it???

For Steel... I would say a B&M Hyper (Intimidator or Apollo) or a launched coaster (Cheetah Hunt, Kingda Ka, or Volcano) For Wood...EL TORO HANDS DOWN!!!

I didn't think about a Flowrider! That sounds awesome for Holiday World!!!

I do agree with you that another coaster is a little bit more down the road but if they were to add a new water park attraction, I would think it would be something very similar to the NEW VANISH POINT at BGW. I don't think Holiday World has a drop slide and to put that on the hillside would be very cool!!!
